Aging Property

The staff was excellent. The property is getting old and showing wear. Housekeeping is good at taking your dirty but not so good at leaving the clean replacements.

The only nice thing about this hotel is the staff and the pool. Everything is outdated. The first day nobody came to clean our room, the toilet was having issues, the remote from the t.v. didn't work. I didn't like that the continental breakfast was over too early. The maids don't clean that well, it was weird to me that the maids were males, but that's besides the point. They don't know how to clean.

Bug paradise

Pros: Nothing
Way to many bugs for me, I couldn't sleep because of the bugs. Called front office to have the room sprayed while I was at work. That must have fallen on deaf ears. Next day roaches in bath, ants in shoes. I'm done with Howard Johnson!

we stayed there two consecutive nights and NOBODY cleaned our room in between! found bugs and mosquitoes in the room. Very easy to get lost in the complex and no sign of elevators or lobby or dining area.

Worst experience ever

This hotel is not what me and my husband expected there was no one at the hotel desk when we arrived to check in ,the phones was off the hook and someone finally arrived 20 mins later telling us that the key machine was down and we had to be escorted to our room without having a key to get back in if we wanted to leave.the breakfast consisted of cereal and toast not hot breakfast we were awakened at 10 with someone entering our room when check out was at noon. This is the worst experience ever and on top of the 75 I was charged they charged my card an additional 20.00 that I was supposed to receive back buy haven't yet. I recommend this hotel to no one

We had no towels in the room at 8:00pm. We cslled and went down to get some. They finally brought some to the room about 9:55. We were not as close to our plans as stated on the phone.

This hotel smelled like mildew & so so out dated. Tube TV.... Wow no towels in the room it was not clean. It was unpleasant stay.

HORRIBLE/NIGHTMARE STORY

we asked for pool side away from road/interstate noise. We were put on Road side with huge amt of noise. The AC was broken & hot air was filling the rm. We called ASAP to be moved but we had already put our things away insulin in frig, clothes in closet so on. we were put pool side, AC worked but we forgot the insulin in frig. had to go get it. about 1 hr later I went to get dressed for the eve & no shirts in the closet......OMG I left them in the room! So we went to ask if we could get them they said no. they would check this was sunday 7/19.....Nightmare began: I will explain on the phone too much to write I finally called wed. eve at 1am & they did find them ....but unacceptable in between events with manager hanging up on me at 2:17pm on wed.....I NEED CORP TO CALL ME & WE WANT A REFUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
