Great spot near the airport

Staff were responsive to our requests, even using the shuttle bus to transport us to a local grocery store and then a restaurant. Room was great and free breakfast gave lots of choice.

Great hotel with a great staff. The breakfast is amazing and the location of the hotel is unbeatable, very close to Chilis, Denny's, TGIFridays, etc..

Shrunk pillows!

Pros: Was ideal location for our visit to Orlando. But for our next scheduled visit on May 9, we decided to stay at another hotel in same vicinity.

The pillows were about a third the size of a standard pillow. Also, there was a lingering smell in the room. When you opened the door to the bathroom, you had to squeeze in sideways in order not to bump your knee into the toilet. Also, the towel rack is located inside the shower?? so if you leave any towels there while showering, you have damp towels to use. The layout of the breakfast buffet was very confusing for guests. People bumping into each other, and only one coffee station available without a garbage can so it was strewn with empty sugar packets and milk containers. Only one staff person to handle everything was clearly not enough.

Adequate hotel near the airport.

Pros: Room size, clean warm pool, good workout room, good donuts in the morning.
Cons: Fire all your staff and hire new ones, or TRAIN them to provide excellent customer service and get rid of the sunken computers at front desk!
Location: Airport hotel.
Rooms with double beds rather than queens were not very comfortable for a family of four. The hotel staff was very unprofessional upon check in - they were very disorganized and didn't seem to know what they were doing. We did not receive our requested wake up call in the morning prior to a 7:55am flight - essential for a hotel that services the airport. The staff was the biggest problem with this hotel - they were very amateurish - not high quality customer service that one would expect at a Hyatt.

Cons: room was not consistently well cleaned shuttle service only goes 3 miles from hotel
Location: A bit far from Disney, and two tolls to pay to get there
While a bit far from Disney, we were very pleased at facilities - clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast, free WiFi. A bit expensive though

Close to Airport

Pros: The shuttle service was free and the size of the room was well above adequate. The bed was extremely comfortable.
We were pleased with the Hyatt. Although it appears to be a somewhat older hotel, it has been maintained as much as possible. The shuttle service from the airport was free as it was a good 10 min. drive to the hotel. The size of the room was a nice surprise and the comfortable bed was appreciated.

Close to airport but not accommodating

Checked in at night took 45 minutes to get into my room, the staff did not know how to use the system and even though I had paid in advance wanted to have my card on file for incidentals. Three employees not one was able to resolve the problem or work together. Since it was late at night there was no one else there. They called the manger who did not want to talk to me. They did offer me water or a free meal but I had a flight in a few hours and just wanted to sleep. I think once the staff is trained on how to use the system the problems should resolve themselves. .

Top Secret Deal Fail

Pros: Staff friendliness & ease of check in.
Cons: An updated fitness center.
Location: There is an airport near by that a lot of people use for air transportation.
The Hyatt Place itself is excellent, it just stunk that I did the top secret deal, as they give you the bottom of the barrel room availability. I had a handicap room with no counter space & a wheelchair shower, which was a pain to use. I like the Hyatt Place, just not happy with being stuck in their worst rooms because of using a top secret deal.

Unexpected in a good way

Pros: pool, gym, spacious room
Cons: Staff was friendly and helpful but there were a couple times that we needed assistance and couldn't find anyone.
Location: It's Orlando, FL. If you don't know what's there you are living on another planet.
We were stranded by a flight cancellation and did not have a hotel. We went online quickly and really found the first availability that look good. We got more than we expected. A very nice room and friendly staff made the place comfortable. The pool and excellent gym were a great bonus.
