We had stay here before when it was the Peabody, so we knew it was a classy place when we first pulled up, great staff, all the bells & whistles, nice pool, giant gym, plenty parking, Great place to spend our 25th anniversary.

Arrive late at night, the doorman is very friendly. Lobby is huge and amazing. Our kids got really excited when they get into hotel, and again when they get into room. The room is very spacious, and is elegantly furnished. There is even an TV embedded on Dressing mirror in our restroom. Hotel has a very large outdoor pool, and opens till 11:00PM. It is a fun place for our family

Perfect location.....pool amazing for children

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Everything
Location: Everything was close by. Even a shopping center with a cinema and restaurants within walking distance.
My family decided to go to Sea World for our son's 10th birthday. We chose this hotel because of the pool and location. Both were just as perfect as we had imagined. The pool was great for us because we also have a 3 year old. The facility had a baby pool with a sandbox and an area where the water jumped up from the ground. The large pool was beach access.....so that was also very kid friendly. My older son enjoyed the waterslide although he said it was a bit small. There is also a basketball net in the pool where he made friends to play with. The staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. The men that valet your car were very personable. The beds were very comfortable and the room was nice and quiet. I really don't have a single bad thing to say. The hotel also provided us with trolley passes so that we could go to Sea World via the trolley instead of taking our car, saving us the parking fee at Sea World. It was truly a very enjoyable vacation. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel in a great location

Pros: The pool, the location, the coffee shop in the lobby.
Cons: Get rid of the "resort fee". I don't know what you get for that, but I have stayed at tons of properties that offer the same amenities for no charge.
Location: Everything that is anything in Orlando is within driving distance of this hotel. Too many things to name.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Orlando on International Drive for 3 nights. It wasn't until after payment was made that we realized that there are a lot of added on charges- Self parking is $16.00 per night, Valet is $26.00 per night, the resort fee is $22 per night, add on tipping for tons of staff and your room rate goes up considerably so keep this in mind when booking this property. Now the good about the Hyatt- the property is lovely and well maintained. The pool is awesome. We rented a cabana for one day (10-6) for 99. for the day which included drinks, chips, pretzels, a tv, lounge chairs, refrigerator, ice, cups, table with 4 chairs, and wait staff service throughout the day. It was so worth the money. We dined at the 24 hour diner two nights which runs about $50.00 for 2 people, but the food is really good and they have desserts that are so delectable you must at least try one. There is a great coffee shop in the lobby which offers pastries, juices and coffee. Had breakfast there every morning. The room had a coffee maker which the hotel provided Starbucks coffee which made me happy. The wifi was free in your room, but the speed is terrible for wifi. Some video would not stream because the strength of the internet was so bad. Sometimes only one bar and late, late we would get two or three bars out of five. Can't brag about the internet- it stunk! All in all we had a nice stay- not as cheap as we would like, but the hotel does offer some sweet amenities.
