Close to everything I needed

Traveled to the area to visit my son in college at Full Sail. Hotel has lovely grounds, pleasant staff, and I loved the room. This is my 2nd visit to LaQuinta. I will definitely return and recommend to friends. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the major roadways.

Value

Pros: Friendly service, breakfest included, clean, and nice location.
Cons: General bathroom updating, maybe replace some ceramic tiles and a fresh coat of paint.
Location: A lot of resturants near by, and probably the cloest hotel to the University of Central Florida.
Definitely a good value for the money, and great location to the University of Central Florida.

Close to University

Cons: It needs upgrading, change mattresses maybe sleep number bed?
The facility was OK. But I was not happy with the bed...very little support. I could hear noise from the other rooms...it was not the best choice for me. One of the elevators was out of order one night. The staff was competent. I would not recommend it.

Convenient to the University of Central Florida

A straightforward, no-frills hotel. The hotel could be improved by adding a bar.

Nice, clean hotel close to UCF's campus.

Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Close to UCF.
Cons: Keurigs in the room would be nice. Add some meat to the continental breakfast.
Location: UCF, movie, shops.
Easy to find and close to UCF. Clean rooms but needs a little updating. The continental breakfast was all carbs. Need to add some protein to the menu!

Where is my camera?

Posted Mar 10, 2014
Location: I was on a family trip, but I must say there was plenty to do in the area. I think it is a nice hotel except for my camera dilemma.
On March 1 I was a guest at the La Quinta Inn and Suites on Research Parkway in Orlando. I checked out on the morning of March 2 and went to a family event in Orlando. When I was at the event I discovered that my camera was missing. On March 3, I called the hotel and was told by the desk personnel that they had the camera. I drove back over to the hotel, described the camera, and was able to sign for it and reclaim it. My question is, however, if the hotel maid found the camera in my room, and graciously turned it into the front desk, why didn't I get a call informing me that my camera was there. They knew my room number, my name and address, my e-mail address, and had my credit card information. Although I am grateful to have received my camera back, I still ask that question. What is your company policy? If the camera would have gone unclaimed, would the hotel personnel be able to inherit it?

Location is key

Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: proximity to Central Florida Research Park.
Cons: Better choices in the breakfast.
Location: Very close to the Central Florida Research Park and UCF. About 25 minutes from Universal Studios and 35 minutes from Walt Disney World.
Needed a hotel close to the Central Florida Research Park. Couldn't get any closer than this! Rooms are ok. Free breakfast is just coffee, juice, muffins, make your own waffles, cereals and toast. Property is dated but the the staff is excellent and very friendly.

very dirty room

Posted Feb 23, 2014
Trash was not empty , the room was dirty and a mess . However the person at the front desk was very kind and helpful but had no other rooms available. There were no other hotels in the area that had rooms available. If they did we would not have stayed in that nasty hotel room. All over bad experience with this hotel.
