Perfectly placed for work around Research Park

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Good price, perfectly located...everything that you need for a normal business trip.
Cons: The breakfast could be better, but it is included in the price and allows you to eat something before you head out.
One of the better La Quintas that I have stayed with.

Disappointing

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Have stayed here many times before and have not had any cleanliness issues but this time was different. There were peanuts on the floor of our room when we arrived and hair on the bathroom floor. Also the entire hotel in general simply felt dirty. Doors and walls look worn and need to be washed and re-painted. This hotel felt fresh when we started staying here two years ago but now it feels like it needs some TLC. Won't stay here again. Sad - because the location is great for proximity to UCF and the breakfast is a good one.

Perfect location

Everything was excellent. Except the coffee at breakfast. I was not impressed with the coffee service at all. Please consider changing it.

Very close to UCF

Posted Jun 13, 2014
Pros: Room was clean, staff very responsive
Cons: Bathroom doors be replaced, room door repaired and sound-proofed a little better, need a bathroom ventilator fan.
Location: Right around the corned from UCF, can access restaurants nearby. Very easy to get to.
Staff is great, but our room wasn't the best...our door didn't work correctly, due to replacement weather stripping. Additionally, door didn't block out noise too well at all. No ventilator fan in the bathroom, and the bathroom doors were ridiculous. Should be just one door. Pool was nice; so was jaquzzi.

clean hotel

Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: Hotel was very clean
Cons: Breakfast was minimal. Would have been nice to have a some more fruit like bananas. Would have liked to have some light yogurt and more cereal choic
This hotel was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. It's nothing fancy, but the price is right and did I say it was clean.

Nice Hotel Close To University of Central Florida

Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: Close to our final destination.
Cons: Maybe a small refrigerator in the room.
Location: Near UCF. Lots of places to eat around the school.
Needed a hotel close to UCF. This one was just down the road and at a good price. It was a very pleasant stay. Two nights. Room was clean, beds where comfortable, bath room clean. Only little thing was that the soap dish had been broken and was taped up with masking tape. Staff was very nice and helped us out with a few little things. Breakfast in the morning was nice, mostly continental style, but there was lots to eat. Easy checkout.

Lack of communication

Posted Jun 1, 2014
While the hotel is an older hotel the facility is nice, beds comfortable and Ac good. We stayed for 3 days and found the free breakfast to be very disappointing. No protein except for hard boiled eggs. There was only 1 banana out on the first morning. It was badly bruised. It was still the only banana out each of the three days, The lady in charge of the breakfast area was very polite, but seemed to have a poor understanding of English. When we asked for new bananas she just shrugged her shoulder and said no. There was also no butter. When we asked about that she took us to the peanut butter. Lots of carbs, waffles, cereal, bagels, sweet rolls. We did even bother eating there the last day. Once breakfast is over there is no coffee or any other beverage available. In our room we used the coffee the first day and it was not replaced until the last day. Just Shampoo is the only extra in the bathroom.
