It'll do in a pinch.

Pros: convenient location
Cons: most everything, as I said, it is tired. We thought the elevator ride was bizarre as it took an inordinate amount of time to go between floors.
WhileI do not normally stay with LaQuinta, this stay was ok. The room was acceptable and appeared clean. The hotel itself appears weathered and in need of renovation/updating.

Very Close to University of Central Florida

Probably the best La Quinta I've stayed in. Very clean and quiet. Daughter was taking a Study Abroad exam from a British university at UCF and this La Quinta was perfect lodging for studying and sleeping. Within a mile of UCF.

It was overall a decent place.

Posted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: I liked the proximity to everything.
Cons: The staff could get a lesson in customer service. The rooms could update the amenities.
Location: It is literally across the street from University of Central Florida. There are a lot of good places nearby, including Steak 'N Shake (I'm from IL :)
I cannot accurately rate because we literally were in the hotel to sleep (as it should be in sunny Florida). However, the room amenities included an ironing board, a TV, and a hair dryer. There was no microwave, no fridge, no safe, etc. The hotel staff seemed rude at times, but maybe that was because it was 2am. Overall, the prices seemed high for the services we received, but it didn't ruined our vacation because we were hardly in the room.

Pros: location
Cons: at least a microwave and fridge.
Location: nice central location
Nice location but no microwave or refrigerator. Plus it was very noisy with thin walls. I could hear my neighbor use the bathroom.

My first stay at a La Quinta

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: I liked the location, and it was a nice big room with a great per night rate.
Cons: The only improvement would be to have the cleaning people, really clean the bathrooms. I found the floor and tub not very clean and covered in hair
Location: Great location for me. I was visiting a nearby relative, and only had a short drive to her location.
Upon arrival, I found only one employee at the front desk, and she told us that her computer system was down, and she was calling for help. So considering there were 3 other parties checking in, that was about 40 minutes waiting. The young lady behind the desk handled the whole situation very professionally. While staying at the hotel, the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Extra service very helpful

Location: 20 minute walk to main entrance of UCF
We were just staying one night and wanted to leave our luggage at hotel after check out -for 5 hours. We were able to do that and the clerk suggested that she call and order a taxi for the airport right then so that when we came back, the taxi would be there. So helpful! Thanks.
