Location: Perfect location
Location perfect. Staff vey friendly except tha lady helping in the breakfasts. A bit iof smell around in particular the elevator.

Cons: Carpet in spots.
Location: Takes 25 minutes to walk to front gate of Universal but it feels safe.
Never saw the staff . Had to leave notes asking for wash clothes and coffee. Was quite and in walking distance of Universal. Front desk personal nice. Would stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights as a base for a visit to Universal. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with fresh waffles, eggs and sausage. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available 24/7, which was great when we came back in the evening. We sat as a group in the lobby and had dessert and coffee while watching the flat screen TV. The pool provided a pleasant diversion in the late afternoon and for those in our group who wanted to spend more time relaxing during the day. We would stay again in the future.

Pros: La Quinta is normally a very nice budget hotel with decent rates, but this one needs a total overhaul in both the rooms and some of the staff.
Cons: Everything, especially the decor and the attitude of some staff.
Location: Great location very near Universal.
We've staying at La Quinta a number of times in the past and their hotels have always impressed us as being nice for th price, however this particular hotel is so worn and abused that it desperately needs to be cleaned up and refurbished. The beds were squishy and worn out, the sheets and blankets had holes, the flooring was peeling, the curtains looked worn....in general everything was just worn out!! Also, the desk person was just plain RUDE. She had a very condescending attitude. My husband had asked a question and I didn't realize it. When I asked the question again a little later (the response was a simple yes or no), she gave me a dirty look and snapped and me while informing that my husband had already asked. I was polite and told her I wasn't there when he asked. I apologized and rather than apologize for snapping, she told me I should try communicating with my husband. All we asked is if they would hold our room if we arrived back at the hotel late since we were too early to check in yet. Sheesh. Having been married 35 years and being atleast 30 years older than her, I don't think we needed her advice nor did I need her attitude. A little respect would have been nice. She should not be in customer service for a living.

We used this hotel for sleeping only. Didn't use much of the facility. Close to Universals and bus drive in the morning to universal was 10min tops. Was ok overall, would use them again.

We booked 3 rooms online and paid for the rooms for 4 nights. We were attended promptly and no questions asked. Rooms were clean everyday. However, some guests complained about sheets being itchy. Breakfast was okay. Best thing about the hotel is the location. It's close to everything and walking distance to the park.

Cons: How about one charge per reservation instead of three charges?
We had to cancel our reservation after 6pm and were charged one night's rate for each of the rooms.

Room smelled, hallway smelled. It was a stinky experience. Spend the extra 50 bucks and go somewhere else

l un des matelas était complètement déformé . nous avons demandé un changement , un concierge est venu nous a dit qu ,il serait changé le lendemain...... rien.
