Liki Tiki is old. The Hotel Staff are nice because they want you to join their Time Share.

Nice quite location but a number of small issues.

Posted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: The pool/water park area was very clean and well monitored.
Cons: The overall condition of the suite should be better maintained. I believe all the issues we encountered could be easily repaired.
Staff was pleasant but I believe lacking communication between service areas. The building we were checked into did not have an operational elevator for our brief stay. There was no staff assistance to help with our luggage. Another guest helped us. When tried to call front desk, I was on hold for about 5 minutes and decided it was only 1 night and the kids were anxious to get to the pool. Unfortunately during our brief stay there were also the following problems: shower door in master suite had no rubber gasket and thus leaked all over the floor. The door on the 2nd bath did not close properly. Faucet in the kitchen was impossible to turn off totally. Can opener did not work. Dryer had some black dried stuff in it so did not use for fear of the substance getting on our clothes. Then when we went to make up the sleeper sofa there were no sheets or pillows. We requested. Took over an hour and when they arrived there were no pillows available at all.

Nice hotel with funs for Kids

Posted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: kids water splash area and pools
Cons: Rooms cleanliness
Location: Location was ok with a Target store and Walmart closely.Disney parks are with in 15-20 min drive and i think that is not a bad commute if u r renting.
We stayed in one bedroom condo with a master twin bed and a sofa bed in living area.Has every facility in room like a full kitchen and washer/dryer.Lot of things to do in the resort like Water fun with nice slides, swimming pools which are are more of kids friendly type . padded boats , fishing , cycling , mini golf for kids and other sports. The best thing is all the activities are free and not like other big resort in neighbour where we stayed and paid for each and every activity. They might have newly renovated rooms but we were in 1000 building and room cleanliness was average but not bad to stay while you find a deal.

Family friendly

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Close to attractions and great on site amenities.
Cons: overall everything was fine.
Location: close to Orlando attractions, shopping and highways.
After the check in, all was fine. Check in took way to long. We were third in line and it took over 30 minutes to check in. Very pushy about agreeing to sign up for a timeshare tour. After saying no a few times we agreed just so we could get our room key. Then we were told if we didn't show for the appointment they would charge our credit card.

You get what you pay for!

Posted Jun 7, 2015
Pros - Good-size room for a family - Low price compared to other properties in the area - Close to Disney area Cons - Really strong bleach smell when we arrived: It stayed a few days and we couldn't close the window due to the smell. - There was a sofa bed in the room but there were no sheets. Same for the washer - no detergent. Had to call for both and wait for a long time (see my next point) - Significantly under-staffed: I asked for an extra blanket around 8pm. After two hours, two additional phone calls, and still no blanket, they admitted that they were super busy and trying their best. Finally got it the next morning. - Condo membership sales presentation: They asked me if I'd like to participate in the sales presentation for the condo membership. I said no. Two days later, someone called me and asked again. I don't know if this is a common practice at a Florida condo, but I don't want to be bothered with sales push on vacation. Overall, it is inexpensive place but you get what you pay for - don't expect hotel-like service.

Customer service is of upmost importance as we want our guests to have wonderful stays. Team members are trained to respond promptly to guest requests; we are saddened to hear we did not meet yours, or our standards. Housekeeping management team was notified of the room smell due to the cleaning products used. As we are a vacation ownership resort, guests are encouraged to explore the world of ownership. Excessive contact has been reported to the sales management team. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention and allowing us to address them with the teams. We do hope this incident will not deter you from returning to Liki Tiki Village Resort.
