Great family resort for families

Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: Lots of family activities (i.e. pedal boats, mini golf, etc.) with plenty of lifeguards watching out for the kids.
Cons: Carpets could be improved, not a big fan of the resort fee that is now charged in person, workout room is very cramped and could be expanded.
Location: Walmart and Target nearby, lots of restaurants on the main road just near it and Disney is about 15 minutes away.
We had a great time staying here with the family for the 3rd year in a row. There are many of activities for the family of all ages including three pools, tennis, basketball, playground. The rooms are spacious and in general well maintained and the beds were relatively comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Buenisima Experiencia

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: LA ATENCION, LOS LUGARES COMUNES, LAS HABITACIONES, LA UBICACION, EL PRECIO.
Cons: NO

Pros: Size of rooms
Cons: Should have room service
Location: Close to restaurants but very far from Disney.
The Hotel is very good, close to many good restaurants but very far from Disney's theme parks. There is no room service and still they charge you a daily fee.

Outside better than inside, chose no carpet room

Posted Jan 24, 2015
I wish they remove carpets, solid floor cleaned before I arrived. Complete kitchen with dryer and washer is a plus.

Many amenities, old furnishings, pushy timeshare

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: The many amenities and activies for all ages.
Location: Off a main strip of many restaurants, stores, gas stations, and a SuperTarget (which has a full grocery store inside of it).
Very accessible to/from airport and theme parks. Off main strip of restaurants, gas stations, stores, and a SuperTarget (to get groceries if you decide to cook in your room). There's a security guard at the entrance who checks vehicles that come in to ensure they are allowed on the resort. Check-in was easy, but they ask you to go to another desk across from the check-in desk to get your "parking permit." This is a sales tactic to get you to the time share staff who will try to lure you into attending a 90-120 minute time share presentation. But you can say "no" and just get your parking permit(s). Unless you own a time share there, you get an older room with old furnishings (as shown in the Expedia pictures). We stayed in the 1300 building. Our room had a slight odor to it, but not too offensive and the stove had rust around the digital control panel. Besides that, the room was decent. Huge bathroom, full kitchen (w/ fridge, stove, m/w, and dishwasher), and washer/dryer unit. One bedrooms come with a queen-size bed. No king-sizes. The bedroom has two doors--one off the foyer and the other from the bathroom. So if you're sharing the room with another person who sleeps in the living room, they can go to the bathroom, without having to go through the bedroom. There is a $13+tax resort fee/night, but it's WELL-worth it! This fee includes so many daily activities and amenities. If you don't want to leave the resort, there's so much to do there!

Long Weekend Stay

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Property - The property was nice and had enough diversions to spend a quiet day away from the parks but still be entertained.
Cons: The property was clean but a little dated.
Location: Publix near-by - saves money on meals at home using the kitchen. Chilis, Starbucks and the standard chain restaurants are near by
We stayed here for a long weekend. The location has both advantages and disadvantages. It is located near the Disney parks (about 15 min-30 min depending on traffic) but is further from Legoland (45 minutes). The location is isolated so good on the noise front but not quickly accessible to Downtown Disney, I4 or International Drive. It is located on a fairly major route and there is plenty of dining options a short ride away but to get access to the broader Orlando offerings will require a little bit of car ride. Check-in was reasonable. There is a quick sell for time-share properties and they call and leave messages later but easily ignored or responsive to no. They are not pushy but you have to have the ability to say no, if salespeople make you uncomfortable then stay at a typical hotel. Room - Fairly standard Orlando time-share condos. We had a two-bedroom in Building 1000. Nice kitchen with full size regrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee-maker. Cabinets are plain formica (not that we minded but if you are looking for a high-end condo, this is not it). Very functional. There is a large room with a dining table and living area with sofa (also has sofa bed- not very comfortable but probably ok for hardy kids/teenagers). The small bedroom had two double beds and a TV. The master bedroom had a large king bed, jacuzzi tub and shower. Property - Nicely maintained. Water slides and pool area were fun for <10 group. Mini-golf, paddle boats are nice
