“Would return in a heartbeat”
We were looking for a quiet but picturesque hotel with great self contained gym, pool and spa because we did not want to go anywhere but just relax. We could not have picked better. The hotel was flawless, beautiful pool and lazy river. Great food with the hotel restaurants but a supermarket and Chilis only 10mins walk if the costs were mounting. We went in late November and could still sunbathe. The hotel was not busy and most people were there for conferences. 20mins taxi to Universal was fine for us but might be an issue for others. For those interested, Universal was extremely quiet, we only waited about 5mins for any ride. My wife and I loved this hotel.
“Can not beat the price!”
If your wiling to be just a few minutes from the other Disney area hotels, this one is it! We love that it is so affordable for what you get! This has been the second time back...stayed at a Disney property and still choose this for our past visit :)
“Trying to find their spot”
We stayed in the Omni Champions Gate over the latest Thanksgiving weekend. We did not expect to be treated extremely well as Expedia customers but the way the stuff reacted to our request for a restaurant reservation or recommendation was simply....rude!!! They said, "just call the restaurant" and hung up. We complained and got an apology and a fruit bowl...Thanks! Never the less we had the feeling of not being welcome there. Especially when a "private party" occupied the adult pool and simply claimed all the space an amenities for their come together and heavy drinking. Overall the hotel is aged inside but well maintained in the outside areas. The hotel is pet friendly...meaning...you never know who crawled on the carpet...and what you may step into on the not too nice golf course. The 14 bucks per day parking fee is ridiculous and just an add on to the room charge. We tried two restaurants. The Zen was really good and not all too expensive. The Trevi's was just disappointing. Overpriced junk food at best. The server was very friendly though.... Positiv: The children's pool area with lazy river is really cool and well maintained....
“luxury hotel”
The hotel was awesome, kind, courteous staff, beautiful grounds, conveniently located., delicious food
“Wonderful Family Oriented Resort”
The staff at the Resort were very friendly and attentive. Our room was very well laid out. The bathroom was very spacious and well laid out. Our two boys had a fantastic time in the hot tub, lazy river and the arcade room. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back to visit again.
“exceeded expectations”
although the room was adequate the grounds, facilities and restaurants were all above average and we would gladly return for a stay.
“Customer Service Took a Vacation”
Customer Service was nearly non-existent. We received our room keys, which unfortunately did not appear to work. We tried several times before we called the front desk (it took a VERY long time for them to pick up) to make sure we had the right room, and they said we did. We asked them to send someone up because our door wouldn't open. We continued to try the door while we waited for someone and finally managed to get the "stuck" door open (we had to force it open with the near exuberance of a SWAT team), only to be locked in from the inside. I'm not sure if renovations had just been completed or for what reason the door was sticking (beyond sticking, good thing there wasn't a fire or similar emergency), but perhaps we should have been more specific when we asked them to send someone up.
“Very convenient”
Impressed with Hotel. Very helpfull and efficient. Wonderful swimming pools. Would recommend as value for money.
“Relaxing hotel”
Very relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. The pools are heated and we enjoyed the heated whirpool as well. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. A bit far from most of orlando's attractions. About a 20 min drive to downtown disney.
“No birdie or eagle on this course!”
