“Second time here and will come a third”
This is our second stay here and we love this place. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Lots of space. Pool was heated and hot tub was hot. We didn't use any of the other amenities. We pretty much go the parks, swim, make dinner and sleep. We had no issues. We are a family of four. Kids are 5 and 7 y/o.
“Pleasantly Surprised”
We were a little concerned when we booked our condo that it wouldn't be as nice as the photos and reviews suggested, since the cost of our stay was by far less expensive than any of the other condos that we looked at. Luckily, it turned out to be even nicer than we had expected. The whole complex looked recently painted and the room was clean with newer appliances, LCD TV in living room, and very comfortable beds. The complex was smaller than other places that we have stayed in the past with 2 small pool areas, but also a couple of tennis courts, shuffleboard, and basketball. Everything was well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great, in that it was very close to the parks. However, also very close to a very busy commercial/retail area on 192. Our building happened to be the only one that butted up against the businesses on 192, so it was a little noisy from the traffic, but the rest of the complex appeared to be more quiet. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, large, clean place to stay while visiting the area, but not looking for a place with a lot of activities/ammenities beyond that. Overall, it was a great place to stay at a price we couldn't refuse!
“Great place to stay”
We stayed at Orbit One for 7 nights. The staff was friendly, including front desk and security. The pools were heated, which was a nice surprise. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The location was great, right on 192 just a couple miles from the Disney exits. It's always nice to have a kitchen and washer/dryer. We would definitely recommend for families and plan to stay here again on our next trip to Orlando.
“Top 3 in Kissimmee”
We were so relieved that we chose a "good one'. Out of all similar places in the Kissimmee area, I'd say this is in the top three. It can be so stressful to choose a hotel without a personal referral. However, we chose this one based on several positive internet reviews, Expedia's reviews as well as value and location. Orbit One Vacation Villas were so easy to find from the Orlando airport, the security guard was always at his station, our 2 bdrm, 2 bath unit was super clean and comfortable. The place is older but very well maintained and nicely decorated. The only negative was that the business center computer was down the entire week. The desk agent, Nancy, was very helpful though, as she helped us print out our Disney tickets and our boarding passes from the office computer that she was using. We needed a central location. As a family of five with kids ages 9, 12 and 20, we have varied interests. Trip highlights? Lots of HEATED pool/hot tub time at Orbit One and Liki Tiki (pass only $5 per family for Liki), beach time at Daytona on Atlantic side and another day on Gulf at St. Pete's. Of course Disney's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was fun and the trip to Typhoon Lagoon waterpark was my personal favorite. Would definitely stay in this great place again if we need to be in Orlando vicinity. Just hope they change the name by then! Orbit One is just not fitting. What about Palm Tree Villas? Something more charming. Name is a turn-off. Just saying.
“has everything you need”
well worth the stay
“Looking forward to our next visit!”
We arrived at the villas on Friday afternoon and check in took less than 10 minutes. The staff were friendly and inviting. We stayed in the Neptune Building and the room was beautiful! Our party included 4 adults and one 6 year old and we stayed in the 2 bedroom unit which was more than adequate space. We were very pleased with the accomodations and will return soon.
“Great place, easy to get to.”
This was a great place to stay at. Very easy to find and was located close to all the attractions to see and lots of places to eat at. Even though it was less the 2 miles from the main entrance to Disney World, the rooms were very quiet. I liked the idea of on property security with having to have a car pass to get on the site. Just gives you a bit extra since of security. Had no problems with check in or out . Look forward to coming again to Florida and will be using the place again.
“Great value for the price and easy access to Disney!”
We stayed a total 6 nights at Orbit and very much enjoyed it! Though it is not as luxurious or updated as the surrounding resorts, we were too busy park hopping to really care. Also, if you plan on doing a lot of swimming and relaxing by the pool, Orbit doesn't have the best water enertainment but other than that, it provided what we needed, 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, a full kitchen and of course, friendly staff! The location is convenient to grocery stores (Target and Publix), buffets/restaurants, shopping, and best of all -- DISNEY WORLD! The only downside: I would not recommend a ground level room -- easier access for bugs and other critters......
“Great value for $$$”
This is as good as it gets for 3-star accommodations. On the whole, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here. The good: - the units are newly renovated, including new appliances - most consumables are supplied (dish soap, detergent, paper towels, etc) - the kingsize bed and linens were excellent - walking distance to many restaurants - the kitchen had everything we needed The bad: - there were dead bugs on the kitchen floor when we arrived (after I passed the broom, we never saw another one) - the so-called "included breakfast" consists of coffee (sometimes), three donuts and two slices of orange loaf for everyone to share...disappointing to say the least - no shuttle service (airport or parks) - the internet was not included ($30/wk)
“Very Satisfied”
Upon my next visit to the Kissimmee area I would definitely stay at this villa again.
