Would recommend

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Excellent location. A million restaurants right outside, and 5 minutes from the theme parks. Very reasonably priced and family friendly. The kids loved the pool with the slides and our room was huge with all the comforts of home with a washer/dryer (even detergent is provided), dining table, table, fridge, microwave, cookware and dinnerware. Would definitely recommend to large families on a budget. I got a lot more than I expected for the price.

Misses the Mark

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Location: Very close to Disney, a definite plus.
If we had driven by this hotel before reserving, we would not have booked there. That being said, there are a lot of positives to mention: Comfortable bed and good quality linens, uniqueness of the condo design (skylights), large size of the condos, very well outfitted kitchen, nice appliances. But it was just a very drab place to stay. The grounds are drab, the exterior of the buildings are drab, the inside of the condos need a touch of style, especially the drapes. It was just underwhelming. However, if this is not important to you, then you are definitely getting good value for your money. For us, it was not a place we enjoyed staying at for an entire week.

Room was not ready when we made it in at 2 am.

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: Room was very nice. Close to most of the parks
Cons: Fix the locks, make sure if we book a room it's ready when we get there.
Location: Parks are very close.
Room not ready. Put us in a sub par facility. Lock did not work. Room still wasn't ready second day after coming from parks at 2pm. Then after getting room staff kept coming in while we were trying to take a nap.

Girl's Disney Get-a-Way

Posted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: The location of the resort is perfect. Close to Disney World along with a wide selection of restaurants and shopping.
Cons: The only negative is the lack of an elevator. It is somewhat difficult pulling luggage up the stairs.
This was my second time staying at the resort and will definitely return again While we experienced a minor problem at check out, it was quickly resolved by the excellent staff.

Nice hotel, convenient to everything.

Resort staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The two bedroom condo we had was huge! Our coffee maker started to smolder when we used it, housekeeping and maintenance were quick to come to our unit to remedy the situation. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend Orbit One when looking to stay in the Kissimmee area.

Very nice hotel

When we travel to Orlando, this is our first option. If we don't find accommodation, then we resort to groupon. We have a 5 yo and he can be messy. Orbit one has washer/dryers, separate rooms and a full kitchen, which is why we stay here over and over again.

Nice smaller resort close to everything we needed.

Posted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: It was small but included everything that we needed and we really liked the convenient location off Hwy 192. Washer/dryer unit was very convenient.
Cons: The windows need replacing and the weatherstripping under the front door as it was very cold and windy for the first two nights of our stay.
Location: Lots of fast food and other dining options, Disney and golf courses.
The resort is older but in good condition. The furniture needs updating and windows need replacing. It is conveniently located off Hwy 192 close to lots of dining spots and nearby Disney and golf courses. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Diamond Resorts has taken over this property and apparently they plan updates to buildings, furniture etc. It is a nice family orientated resort and small enough to feel safe with smaller children compared to the much bigger resorts. We used the pool, basketball court, played shuffle board and the swing/slide set for our grandchildren. We hope to go back to Orbit One next year for a family vacation.
