Don't stay here

Hotel not worth the money Got locked out of my room every with key issues. Played golf got back at 4:00 room not cleaned. Al they keep saying is we apologize By the third day I went to the front desk to complain about not getting in my room The desk clerk called security on me for absolutely no reason. Apparently they have a lot of unhappy guest so they just call security. I checked out and went to a different all suite hotel down the street for less money

Cons: The service at the outsidcafe at the pool is terrible. We waiting on Friday for 30 minutes and no one came to the table even though we complained.
Location: Disney...terrific...bus driver of Mariott bus was great!
The food at the cafe inside the pool area was terrible. It tasted like the burgers at the ski lodge they keep under the heat lamps. The pizza was awful! You can do much better than that. The Italian restaurant was terrific! My grandson loved the arcade. It should be bigger. Loose the video room...

Good for business, too expensive for pleasure!

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Pool. Staff were helpful throughout.
Cons: More affordable options for dining and transportation. We felt trapped!!
Location: Close to Disney and Downtown Disney, but be prepared to pay to get there!!
This hotel, Italian restaurant, & pool are fabulous, but it is extremely expensive and you are unable to leave the property without paying huge cab or shuttle fees. They offer multiple opportunities on-site for dining, but most are very expensive. My husband and I don't mind paying for good food, but this was excessive. (For example, we paid $2.25 for a canned soft drink at the snack bar--not even at a restaurant. Ridiculous. $1.60 for a snack-sized bag of chips.) The Italian restaurant is delicious and we ate there twice! If you are wanting to experience Orlando and the area, this hotel offers no free shuttle, no walking distance, and no options to leave unless you're willing to pay $22-70 for transportation fees. We were really disappointed with the lack of affordable options to leave the property....and it wasn't affordable to stay, either. The hotel contracts with a shuttle and town-car service, so they frown upon calling a metered cab. We balked at the $64 town-car service to the airport (we weren't aware of the deadline for the $22 pp shuttle to the airport), and the staff were reluctant to refer us to a cab company. We went with a cab anyway and saved about $16 in fees. Overall, this hotel is great for luxury business travelers with unlimited expense accounts. I would think it would be out of reach for most families or people traveling for pleasure. The pool was beautiful and the rooms were spacious, but our room was really noisy from the hallway and other rooms.

Great location, friendly front desk staff, BUT....

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Location and friendly front desk staff
Cons: Get bathroom fans in the toilet room and have the cleaning staff check all the hotel-provided soaps/lotions.
Location: Disney
The hotel is in a great location, less than 5 miles from the Disney resorts, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only poor remark, which I consider pretty big, is the hotel's cleaning staff was pretty poor. From the moment we checked-in on Friday night, just before 9pm, we noticed that the hotel-provided lotion, which is less than 3oz, was empty! I began to further inspect and the soap box was there, but no soap in the box. I was disappointed. I also was disappointed to learn that the actual bathroom, where the toilet resides, there is NO fan. I've stayed at plenty of Marriott's, and have always had a bathroom fan.
