“Glad we found it”
This was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed and a great value. The beds were comfortable instead of rock hard hotels beds. Everyone was nice, it was clean and safe, you couldn't ask for more. (Except warmer weather so we could have enjoyed the pool too :)) While there is no shuttle to Disney it was an easy drive to the parks. And with the money we saved at the hotel paying for parking at Disney was no hardship. Plus then we got to go on our own schedule instead of a shuttle schedule. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely stay here.
“LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Looking forward to going back next year.”
If you want to be close the Disney parks w/o paying the high Disney Resort prices than this Resort is for you. Make a right out of the main Resort area and you are on the road that takes you right into the Disney parks. Make a left and you have everything else (restaurants, gas, 7-11, Walgreens, souvenir shops and more). Close to SeaWorld & Universal. Very courteous staff, very clean and well maintained rooms. The beds were very comfortable. Master bath w/ whirlpool tub was nice. The balcony is nice to have but not much of a view, which will be either the parking lot or the pool area. The pool was not very large but was nice with a small rock waterfall. Didn't get a chance to do the walking trail, hope to next time we stay. They do the timeshare bit for discounted park tickets or local shows but if you tell them not interested they leave you alone. We are a family of four with a 5 and 11 year old and the two bedroom/3 bed/2 bath was very roomy for us. Our only issue was not having internet service readily available thru the Resort. They offer a service but thru a seperate company that is a bit pricey. Highly recommend this resort.
“Great resort for the price.”
The villa was perfect for a family of four. The rooms were well kept and the location was very convenient. The only complaint that I would have is that the people at the front desk did not seem overly informed or overly helpful, but they were pleasant. I would definitely recommend this resort.
“definately worth it---beautiful”
the ONLY thing wrong----they insist on you buying timeshare--they don't take no for an answer. But, once you tell them firmly, you're all set.
“Excellent Choice”
The staff was great. Although this resort wanted to sell time shares they were not pushy about it. They ask when you first arrive but you are not bothered during the rest of your stay, The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, and the location was convenient to Disney and anything else you wanted to do. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would considered staying here again if/when I return to Orlando.
“Our Stay at Parkway”
We were extremely pleased with our suite, which was ideally suited for Mom, Dad, and a teenaged son and daughter, perfect accommodations for visiting the Disney parks.
“Definitely going back.”
The Parkway is beautifully decorated in African style which gave us a feeling of doing something exciting and different. The room was huge and well stocked--except no spices. We had neighbors but could not hear them at all in the 5 days we were there. We stayed at several places, but the Parkway was the closest to Disney. It took the same time to arrive at the parks as when we stayed on Disney property. The pool was a bit chilly. They had live music that was a little too loud but good songs. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even when we checked in very late. Beware of the timeshare presentation. They promised absolutely to stay less than 60 minutes. It was 135. Some other guests said it was 3 to 4 hours. You don't have to do the presentation at all.
“Great room for the value”
Rooms were very spacious and clean, hotel close to all the major parks only a few minute drive. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with small children visiting Disney.
“A deal at twice the price!”
An older condo complex that is VERY well maintained. Great condo for the money. Very clean 2 bedroom with small but full kitchen, small washer/dryer (soap included), dining room/living room, comfortable and a few minutes to Disney. One master bedroom and one twin bed bedroom. Two bathrooms. The condo was ultra clean and well kept. Nice pool area with bar. Several great restaurants and grocery store within walking distance (2 blocks) Just down the street from "Old Town", check out the classic car cruise on saturday nights. Close to the highway exit but far enough so there was no noise. They sell timeshares but no pressure to listen to the sales pitch. A very good place to stay! We got a fantastic deal on Expedia for this place.
“Great Value”
I have to say that I was a little skeptical. The price is very reasonable and the property is a little old. But overall, this is a great value. The rooms are large and you can save a bundle on breakfast and dinner by just staying in. The TV in the main room was bigger than the one we have at home! Highly recommended. We just stayed a few days to visit the Magic Kingdom but we would stay again.
