Comfortable to stay

Posted Apr 17, 2014
The room was comfortable and the free breakfast was good. My daughter enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was close to the convention center, city walk and sea world. I would definitely stay there again.

Cheap room

Posted Apr 17, 2014
All and all it was pleasant. The hotel was a bit run down. There was a lot of water damage in the bathroom and the hotel could really benefit from a good sprucing up. The up side is the money you save could be spent elsewhere and they are close to theme parks!

Ok value

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Location, cost, pool
Location: Close to Seaworld, Aqutica, Hospital
Decent location and good value for the money. We used it for a couple nights before our flight home. Pool was nice. Breakfast was OK - typical. Room was a little small for family of 5. More than two nights would have been uncomfortable.

Close to Universal/seaworld

The hotel room was a little run down. The coffee table was in terrible shape. It needs to be thrown away. The carpet was old and air conditioner only cooled half the room. Breakfast was just ok, and you had to get down there early. The beds were comfortable, but I would have liked them to be queen size. The pool and hot tub were my favorite. It was nice to relax after a long day of walking.

Best asset: Location

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: The rooms were definitely outdated. Towels should be replaced.
Location: Close to Downtown Disney, Sea World, Universal. Easy access to everything.
Location is great. Room is small - we had 2 queen beds and a sofa, and it was cramped. The pool was not bad, but at the end of our stay it got closed for some work (without any warning). Staff was OK. Breakfast was very basic and usually very crowded (not even enough tables, served as a buffet at the lobby. Most people took food to their rooms). I guess for the price and a place to shower/sleep and a good location, it was OK. At the end of our stay we got towels that were ripped and in terrible shape. I'd suggest bring your own.

Close to Universal

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Although it was close to Universal and the commute to and from was easy, the hotel itself could definitely use a face lift. The outside part of the buildings were old and run down, but the rooms were better. Beds were super comfortable. We probably won't stay here again, but it's good for one night just to sleep.

Conveniently located to area attractions

Posted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: Location, amenities, rates.
Cons: Shower didn't drain well, and availability of hot water wasn't steady.
Location: Conveniently located off 1-4 and near Universal, Sea World attractions, shopping, dining, etc., but not on the busy main strip on International Drive.
I booked this hotel about three months in advance for attending an event at the nearby convention center. The rates were reasonable in comparison to the other area hotels. It's not fancy, but had good amenities (in-room microwave, refrigerator, safe) and free breakfast. The room was nice, but the beds are double size, not queen, so they may be small for some people. Even though there was a sofa bed, when we opened it to check it out, the mattress did not appear comfortable enough to try to sleep on it. Our stay was during spring break, so the hotel seemed to be full, but it was not too noisy. There was enough variety for the free self-serve breakfast, including "make your own waffles". Since it was a busy period (spring break), it looked like the could have used another front desk person, particularly on Saturday. Overall, it was a good hotel for the value, and I would stay there again at a reasonable rate.
