You get what you pay for

Posted Apr 20, 2015
The accommodations at this hotel were fair. The location of the hotel was very close to most attractions. We received a low rate due to the online special I found. This is an older hotel with some upgrades. The bedding was itchy and the bathroom was very dated. During our entire stay, housekeeping barely cleaned the room. The hot breakfast was actually pretty good. However, you have to get there early. The staff was not helpful. Luckily we spent a lot of time at the amusement parks. If you're not staying long or just need the bare minimum than go for it. Otherwise, I wouldn't pay full price for this hotel.

Rooms need some renovating

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Location provided convenient access to everything, while not being in the busy, congested area on International Drive. Was able to get good rate too.
Cons: Upgrade rooms- include some bigger beds (queen size); bathrooms need some ventilation (no exhaust fans); bathroom door was hard to close.
Location: Close to Universal Orlando, Sea World and other attractions around International Drive.
This was our third time staying at this hotel in the last year. It is conveniently located to the events that we attend in the area and reasonably priced. The amenities such as an in-room safe, microwave, refrigerator, as well as free parking and free breakfast are a nice bonus. This saved us money and time. However, the bathroom has no ventilation--why have so many affordable hotels done away with exhaust fans in the bathrooms?! Fortunately, we had a small portable fan that we used to try to get the steam out of the bathroom after a shower. And the bathroom door was difficult to open and close. In general, the rooms can use some TLC. Otherwise, we have been pretty happy staying here on weekend trips. The hotel staff has been helpful whenever we've asked for something.

Rude staff

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Staff at front desk is not friendly. Stayed at the hotel for 4 days and not once was our room cleaned. Always had to ask front desk for new towels and they always had an attitude like its my job that I make sure our room gets serviced. Sheets were itchy.
