A great value for the money.Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Great value. Decent cleanliness.
Cons: The elevator tracks could be cleaned more. The pool area is a bit crazy in the evenings after the parks close. Wasn't a huge negative for me though.
Location: Universal Studios, International drive, Convention Center
Folks on a budget, and with families should appreciate the value proposition here. I was staying a couple of days after a convention (waiting for my flight). It was 1/3 the price of my convention hotel. The pool, hot tub, kiddie pool and center courtyard is ideally situated for families and there are a lot of them using the facilities. The poolside cabana/bar has a limited food selection, but bargain prices, and good food. The chef/bartender is a great guy and an asset to the hotel. While I was there, you could get two Corona for $5. I had great burgers, and delicious wings. They also feature pizza among other fare. Rooms are appointed decently. The're a bit narrow, but have a small refrigerator and a nice flat panel TV. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Breakfast and free wifi were included. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast. Walmart is only 6 or 7 blocks away.

This Place is a Total Dump!Posted Jul 21, 2014
In the interest of full disclosure, we didn't actually stay the night at this hotel... because after seeing the room we immediately rolled all of our luggage back to the car and checked out. We ended up paying for one night as a penalty. The room had a musty/moldy smell, there were stains on the bedding, the curtains and furniture were faded and frayed, the bathroom had a flickering light bulb that made it better suited to serving as a set piece in a low-budget horror movie than getting naked and taking a shower, and the DEALBREAKER? There were dead bugs under the mattresses (discovered when we checked for evidence of bed bugs)... the deceased bugs were not, in fact, "bed bugs" but since we didn't have an entomologist in our party, we couldn't identify what kind of insect they actually were. This place is a total DUMP... *shudder*... consider yourself duly warned:(

Overall okPosted Jul 15, 2014
The location was ok and the house keeping staff was good. The only person that was terrible, was the lady running the kitchen. It looked like she hated her job. The breakfast area is too small...was too crowded. She bumped into me causing my juice to spill...and she apologized and then she had the nerve to tell me I was not suppose to be standing there!!! Are u kidding me. The following morning, she actaully pushed an 11 year old or so girl off her way so she can bring her food. She is crazy...will never go back. One word of advice...the hotel should give guest tickets for breakfast, so as to stop people from outside surroundings.

Great location close to most theme parks.Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: The breakfast they offer every morning was great. The cleaning crew did a great job cleaning the room everyday.
Cons: The people in the front could be nicer.
Location: Location was great. Walmart was down the street. Restaurants and them parks weren't to far of a drive.
Hotel is nice but needs some upgrades. Pool needs to be clean everyday not every two days.

You get what you pay for!Posted Jul 11, 2014
Much lower standard than other Choice network hotels I've stayed in. Desperately needs updating. Free but spotty wifi. Small breakfast area with large volume of discount lodgers meant long line for free breakfast. Only one overworked desk clerk available to assist guests meant long slow lines at front desk also.

Hotel was dirty and run down. I guess you get what you pay for. Next time I will spend a little more money and stay somewhere a little nicer.
