You get what you pay for

First room was a complete mess. Got move to another room that wasn't much better. Back breaking beds. People above seemed to be walking a marathon every night between 12 & 4 am. Elevator smelled like urine. Other then that the price was right.

Low Budget w/nice beds, decent pool, maint issues

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Pool/Jacuzzi, being close to Universal and beds were comfortable.
Cons: Maintenance and upkeep were poor in general. Plumbing and general room maintenance showed issues. Ground floor room AC's all made puddles in walkway
Location: Universal & Islands of Adventure
Location conveniently close to Universal area. I got very nice budget price for three beds for two night. Two beds were very comfortable, third was typical uncomfortable couch bed. TV had HBO and worked well. Pool and jacuzzi were very decent. Rooms were quiet (I was on top floor, 3rd). OK, now for the issues to expect for budget hotel. Staff encoded wrong room onto my keys at first...fixed it quickly. Think we had three or four towels for 5 people first night...asked for more with friendly note but got nothing extra 2nd day...had to hunt down extras from desk. Shower would stay warm for 1-2 minutes then cold or random temp. Free breakfast cheap...not worth it...were out of coffee both mornings. Tile & grout in bathroom was multiple sizes/colors but not intentionally. Maintenance was obviously well below par. I was happy enough as my choice for this hotel was for keeping budget low and had pool/jacuzzi with comfortable beds. We spent very little time here, but room was comfortable enough for cooling off after long days at park and sleeping and let us keep few more bucks to spend at the park.

Pros: the breakfast food was good, the areal looked clean. the staff was friendly.
Cons: clean the walls and paint the whole thing. the doors aren't secure.
The walls were dirty, it had an overall feeling of being dirty. the breakfast was good, the staff was friendly, but the hotel itself just needs a complete do over. disappointed that there was only 1 shuttle to the Disney Parks.

Pros: Staff, rates
Cons: Pool area...
Location: Great location, near sea world. Traffic was terrible all week.
Very dirty pool...never any clean towels in pool area .small breakfast area for size of hotel, rooms very outdated and loud. Staff however was nice and courteous.

A great value for the money.

Pros: Great value. Decent cleanliness.
Cons: The elevator tracks could be cleaned more. The pool area is a bit crazy in the evenings after the parks close. Wasn't a huge negative for me though.
Location: Universal Studios, International drive, Convention Center
Folks on a budget, and with families should appreciate the value proposition here. I was staying a couple of days after a convention (waiting for my flight). It was 1/3 the price of my convention hotel. The pool, hot tub, kiddie pool and center courtyard is ideally situated for families and there are a lot of them using the facilities. The poolside cabana/bar has a limited food selection, but bargain prices, and good food. The chef/bartender is a great guy and an asset to the hotel. While I was there, you could get two Corona for $5. I had great burgers, and delicious wings. They also feature pizza among other fare. Rooms are appointed decently. The're a bit narrow, but have a small refrigerator and a nice flat panel TV. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Breakfast and free wifi were included. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast. Walmart is only 6 or 7 blocks away.
