Doesn't live up to the name

I was supposed to have a king bed and they told me they were out so, I was given 2 queens. Cable didn't work. A/C didn't work. Holes in the walls all over the hotel. Ice machine and vending machines didn't work on my floor. Decor was old and dated. Bathroom was grundgy! Would not recommend this hotel. Staff was nice and that was the only good thing about this hotel.

I am sorry to hear that your visit wasn't to expectations, however I did want to share that we are expecting some great new updates to our units, including brand new furniture and other amenities in each room along with an updated fitness center, and we have just reopened our Alafaya Garden Bar & Bistro with an all new menu available for breakfast, lunch, and any special events.

Close to UCF

Bed was comfortable. Room was older. Air conditioner was not consistent. Door did not lock properly. Front desk staff very welcoming. Restaurant was nice.

Got in late and left early, so I didn't get a lot of time in the hotel, but, beds and pillows comfortable, front desk person at check in very nice man. The bathroom sink was little gross, but other than that, no complaints.

All good but avoid a room next to the elevator. Ran into a lot of noisy guest.

I am happy to hear that the room was comfortable, and while we do have just 2 rooms per floor near our elevators, if you are a light sleeper, I do agree it may be better to choose a room further down the hall. The great news is that we have 138 of them and look forward to being a little more precise in getting everybody a room that suites them best.

Great two nights stay

Super friendly staff, near by Ucf, plenty of restaurants around, the beds were amazing! Only bad thing was that the room didn't have a microwave but I went to the front desk and they heated up my food with no problem. I look forward to staying here again

Very disappointing and bad experience!

Pros: Nothing
Cons: They need to rebuild the hotel...and need more clean
Location: Is in Orlando UCF area
Hotel is old Capet very dirty and smell very bad!!!! The room is not even clean dust and stain every where. First time here....very disappointing never ever come back again!!!

Pretty good stay

Hotel was clean, very comfortable bed, food was good, decent price. Shower made funny noise, pool looked a little dingy. With a few renovations, things could be better. Overall, pretty good stay

Found a bug in bed

Pros: Staff was nice
Cons: A bug free bed and a quieter room!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Location: location was good and opportunity for shopping and dining.
We found a bug in bed and contacted the front desk and they said any issues to discuss with Expedia as we booked the room through Expedia. Additionally, the room was fronting the main road and very loud not allowing us to have a good night sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have contacted our pest control provider and alerted them to the issue you experienced at our property. I am sorry to hear that traffic noise was also an issue during your stay. Due to several different events that were taking place at the University of Central Florida and our location being just a mile away, traffic was a little heavier than usual.

Great staff, hotel condition has issues

We arrived and found the hotel staff to be very accommodating and super friendly. The rooms however are in terrible shape when you get up close. They were very comfortable, but when you look closely at everything they have done, a lot of work to cover-up heavy damage. The ceiling was sagging in areas with water damage in the bathroom. Patch work done without fixing the underlying problem, so one slight push with a finger would open the ceiling. You can tell that they tried to renovate the hotel with about a third of the budget they should've had. Essentially they tried to polish a turd. Fortunately, the rooms were very comfortable and the hotel staff was very accommodating. In the end, I was wondering how I got the hotel for such a cheap price, now I know.
