Business stay Hotel

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: Proximity to business areas.
Cons: Update some areas of the hotel that are showing age. I do not know how to make the rooms bigger.
The hotel is located near research facilities for UCF, so that was convenient. it was quiet. The staff was generally helpful. The food was good. The bar staff was very friendly. The rooms are on the small side, however, and some areas of the hotel are showing their age. It was a decent value, however.

It was an ok experience for the weekend. Traffic and construction in the hotel area made it difficult to get in and out of hotel parking lot but not hotels fault. The rooms are satisfactory. I assumed there would be hair dryers in rooms but there was not. Requested one from front desk and they forgot to call housekeeping to bring it to me. Had to go down to front desk so was a little bit dissatisfied with how that was handled.

Sheets questionable

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: Nice facility. The Breakfast buffet is super.
Cons: Check on room ready staff.
Location: More than you can do in a week.
We questioned as to wether the sheets had been changed due to some small irrigularities. We were given another room and comp breakfast buffet tickets.

Elegant entrance. . . Older hallways

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Comfortable beds and hand rail in shower.
Cons: I would update the halls and invest in new shower heads.
Location: Did not stay in the area long, but there was information in the room regarding things to do and see in the area.
Due to road construction, difficult to get to entrance. . .no fault of hotel at all. Very nice lobby but thought I was in a different hotel when the elevator opened on the second floor. Hallway seemed so much older than the lobby. Room was nice, clean and beds were very comfortable. Like having a regular chair to sit on instead of a desk chair or using the bed. I would stay there again without hesitation. Ice machine on second floor was out of order, but I feel this has been repaired since my stay. Very welcoming staff.

Close to UCF

Posted Feb 23, 2015
The hotel was very noisy. Heating and AC was very poor. Impossible to regulate to comfort. The bathroom for had grease on it. They appear to be renovating. Our room needed lots of little things. I had the feeling we were put into a room that wasnt finished yet.

Good Afternoon, and thank you for your recent stay. I certainly appreciate your concerns and have made sure to address them with the staff at large. We have recently completed several updates however, including brand new furniture, new bathroom fixtures, and several other great features that we are excited will make for a great experience for everybody.

Nice Hotel

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Location and the front desk staff was great.
The hotel walls are super thin. You can't run the fan of the air condition which I like to do so I can't hear other people breathing while I try to sleep. The air condition was so loud when it cam on it woke me up everytime it came on. I hit it and pushed a chair up against it to keep it from rattling.

Dangerous Area, unprofessional staff

Posted Feb 16, 2015
My family stayed here recently and after driving 10 hours we arrived at about midnight. As I was waiting to check in, the guest service person answers the phone and it's another guest claiming that he's dying. He sends security up and the tells security that a black person tried to kill him. To make a long story shorter, he hangs up and tells me he's not checking me in and that I have to leave. He immediately goes outside and tells a family that was in taking luggage out their vehicle to hurry and come in. We eventually come in the hotel at 2AM and I said as calmly as I could that he he was rude and I would be reporting the incident. We finally got into our room at 3:30am. Again, to make a long story short, when I did talk to the manager, he lied and told me their was no corporate office and even wrote that on a card. 2 mins later another staff person told me that the Hotel is owned by Carlson and their contact info was online, which I have and will be contacting today along with Radisson's corporate office. If I were anyone, I wouldn't stay in this hotel, pay $20 and stay somewhere more safe and with respectful staff.
