Hotel rooms are dated

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Advertised as sleep number king suite. 1st one they put us in was in front of elevator then the 2nd one was behind the elevator. Very noisy. Breakfast was good for 9.95.

Mediocre for the price

Posted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: Room was clean however the cable for the TV was not connected properly and the volume was erratic and the picture went in an out (pixilated).
Cons: Finish the renovations and lower your prices, you are a three star hotel at best. There are no balconies so you must go outside for a cigarette.
The Radisson Hotel is conveniently located near UCF and several institutions, restaurants and the major highways. It is currently undergoing renovations and from the quality of workmanship it is obviously being done by the lowest bidder. Splashed paint on the metal entryway, gaps between new and adjoining structures, etc. The restaurant grossly overcharges for simple dishes like hamburgers and wraps, there are two computers in the lobby and you'll have to re establish a new connection each time you try to use the WiFi on your laptop or other device to connect.

Hotel is adequate

Posted Dec 8, 2014
The hotel can at best be described as ok - if you are on business and need a place to sleep and work it is fine. My concern is that I paid for use of the conceirge lounge and when I arrived I was told it was out of service due to construction works - I was given "vouchers" to use in the main bar but when I tried to use them I was told they were only for "house wine" - so basically I was charged extra for nothing. The other issue I believe is worth commenting on is the restaurant - due to my profession I travel alot and stay in many different hotels - this is the first hotel where the Chef and the Bartender change the channels on the TV without asking the customer if they mind!

Location: It is in a great location.
The hotel is in change, walls being refinished and things being taken apart. I am sure the place will be fine when complete however the staff was working hard to help. The heater in the room was just right or COLD. This does make for an uncomfortable stay.

Pros: Location near UCF.
Checked in very late and it was a good experience. However noticed trash behind a chair which means the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. Also the a/c vent in the hallway was black with dust, so were the baseboards on our floor. Not a lot of attention to detail after you left the lobby - which is beautiful.

Location: UCF
As soon as we put our luggage down a HUGH roach ran across my bed...I HATE ROACHES...then my son went into the bathroom and a flea jumped on his leg...he put it in the sink to make sure ...it was... we changed rooms but still worried all night if a roach was on my bed...

Where do I start?

Beds uncomfortable. Heard every car on the road (thin window panes). Heard next door neighbor's entire conversation (thin walls). Place is still undergoing renovation after how many years later??? Hotel staff were corteous and professional.

I wanted to thank you for your recent stay and regret any discomfort. We do have rooms off of Alafaya Trail that I may recommend to anybody who would like a more quiet location, and also let you know that we are not undergoing a renovation, but are including some new features such as new furniture, carpeting, and several other great new amenities. I was very happy to read that the staff was such a great part of your stay, and we all look forward to the next couple of months that we will see the hotel offer an all new experience.
