Right for the price

Posted Apr 24, 2015
This is barely a 3 star hotel room, if that, however, the overall property is gorgeous and well maintained. Great on weekdays because families are all at the Disney parks so you can pretty much have the pool area to yourself with maybe just a couple of other people who are serious about relaxing too! I liked that there were 2 pools (one heated and one with a slide and waterfall), a kiddie pool, and 2 hot tubs. Staff was all great, except for one guy who couldn't take a hint. Breakfast at Mandolins was sufficient, but nothing to get excited about.

Decent for the price

It was a good location, about 10 minutes from Disney. The pool was nice, the bed was comfortable and good location near many restaurants. I would stay here again.

Don't Bother

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Only thing liked about hotel is the pool
Cons: Everything from front desk to bathrooms are horrible
Location: Theme Parks if you can get there if you didn't drive
Hotel staff unfriendly and have a lot of "I don't know answers". Be WARNED no shuttles to Disney like it says on website! Only way is shuttle to Epcot then to Disney which took over an hour! Not one ice bucket of vending machine that worked on any floor!

Nice location, terrible ammenities

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Proximity to the Disney parks.
Cons: Eliminate the resort fee. Most resorts offer pool services & gym at no charge. We didn't get anything more than that for our $20/day.
Location: The entrance to Disney was just down the street.
When we arrived, the checkin staff seemed bothered to help us. Our room was a very long walk from the parking lot. The tv did not get any channel other than the Disny info ones. The shower fixtures were falling off the wall. We did not receive any housekeeping services services on the day we were there (two night stay)! Completely unjustified resort fee.

Reasonable and Clean

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: The rooms were updated and clean.
Cons: Get a different shuttle service and include the "resort fee:" in the room price because that's what it really is. Include a microwave in the room.
Location: There is a Publix just down the street and they have a pretty good deli that makes subs. Its a good cheep meal for families.
We were looking for a hotel that was reasonable and close to the Disney parks. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool area was nice however the large pool with the water slide is not heated and it is a bit chilly. There is a resort fee which is nothing more than a ploy to display a lower room price on sites like Expedia, factor in another $20 a night for the room to cover the "resort fee". The resort fee is said to cover items such as the pool, fitness center, parking, wi fi etc. Keep in mind if you don't use these items you still need to pay the fee so it might as well be a part of the room price. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Disney however be warned it is not the best option to get to the parks. We used the shuttle our first of 5 days going to the parks and it only drops off at Epcot and then you need to use the Disney trams and monorails to get to other parks so plan on an additional hour or so to get to where you want to go unless it's Epcot. The Shuttle was clean but there was no air conditioning. The shuttle service also stops a a few other hotels to pick up people so by the time we headed to the park there the bus was packed with people doubling up in the seats and standing in the isles. The shuttle times are poor. The last drop off at the park is around noon and then there isn't a pick up until around 5:30 and then again at about 8:45 PM. It's not convenient at all. After the first day we drove to the parks because the shuttle was useless.

Good bedroom, bad service. Add $20/day fees.

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Location: Location is great for enjoying Disney related activities.
The bathroom needs an uplift, but it is not the worst thing. Keep in mind that all reservation quotes fail to mention the $20 resort fee. it has a game room and pool and a nice lobby. Breakfast is not complimentary, which I forgot to check before-hand, so we had to pay. Everyday there was a 10-20 minutes wait for a table at the breakfast (breakfast was not good at all for this hotel category). Property is VERY big. You may end up very far from the entrance, breakfast, pool, Lobby. I Had the chance to see at least 3 guests arriving to the front desk and not having their final room ready. What the hotel did then was to put each of them in a different kind of accomodation and promise to change again the next day. Front desk service was very poor. Free wi-fi was frequently down (at least on my cell phone).

Ruined our vacation

Posted Apr 19, 2015
The hotel made a mistake that froze up our checking account and left us without spending money for our whole vacation. The manager did not respond until I filed a complaint with Radisson Headquarters. Our housekeeper was great, but the room was musty, the beds were hard, and the front desk staff were very disrespectful.
