Good enough

Pros: Shuttle services to all Orlando parks
Cons: Drinking water
Location: Disney land
It was a good experience to stay at Ramada Kissimmee Gateway. But room water had some bad smell. Apart from that it was good enough to for night stay purpose

Spontaneous stay

This is the second time I stay at this ramada inn location which is a basic room with bed small fridge sink and bathroom. A microwave is available upon request and an extra charge. Everything seemed to be clean overall and comfy for a nights stay. The staff is welcoming and helpful.

It's just "okay".

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Pool, deli, restaurant, parking, okay.
Cons: All the rooms in the two story buildings could have beds other than rocks, quieter AC, newer fixtures in baths. Less rust would be nice.
Location: The location isn't bad, however, you do need to approach the hotel oddly if you're heading west on 192 (you'll see what I mean if you look on a map).
I'm not sure what the problem is with inexpensive hotels around Disney World, but we've stayed in so many now that are so bad, that I can't believe most of them are still in business. This one is a doctor Jekle and mister Hyde. The two story units in the back of the hotel are worse than the majority of smelly, dirty, old, and worn out hotel rooms you'd find across the nation. The Tower rooms are far better, but still lacking in a few places that are really important. For example, the two story units behind the tower have really noisy air conditioners, chipped enamel on the tubs (resurfacing effort gone wrong?) and smell like heavy use of cleaners, dissinfectants. Beds were one step down from slabs of rock. Asked for rooms with better beds - was told by the front desk the tower beds might be better - gave us a key to go check out the tower rooms. However, this comes with a catch, if you want to stay in the tower rooms, it's an extra $11 a night (well worth it though if you choose to, we had to if we wanted to sleep at all). The only significant drawback to the tower rooms, REALLY LOUD air conditioner mounted in the ceiling - still run down and chipped tub/shower. Strange how the rest of the hotel (read this as - anything but the rooms) is relatively okay. If you do choose to stay, get a window room so you can watch the fireworks at night over Disney.

Take your time and find a better place

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: For the limited time that I had to book a stay at Virginia Beach this was the closest resort to the beach.
Cons: For what is charged per day for each room this resort should shine like a diamond but it doesn't.
Location: Location is great if you can't find a better place on the beach.
Maybe someone who booked a longer stay at this resort had a better experience or got better treatment but my room was only booked for a one night stay. When I opened the door of the room it had a musty odor. I got no Wi-Fi which was offered. The water drained slowly when I showered and the shampoo and conditioner that they put in the bathroom is a complete joke. Please bring your own. For the money that I paid I would say give yourself some time when booking rooms at Virginia Beach and get a better room somewhere else. I rushed my booking and this is what I got.

Pros: Close to the resorts and down time. the transportation to the resorts were very good
Cons: Frontline staff must be customer centric, food in the restaurant must be fresh and not recycled
Location: Good and very close to the resorts
Most of the front office personnel were not friendly and had some elements of rudeness. The wifi experience was appalling. It never worked most of the time. The room was very clean and washrooms were sparkling clean

Great for a Family that wants to be close to DISNE

Pros: Large room, balcony on floor for our smoker, view and pools
Cons: Mini golf was a let down it can be a bit more kid friendly with obstacles and stuff that catches the eye.
Location: Driving it was 10 mins to disney which was not much. the shuttle didnt go to hollywood studios but it went to the mainparks
We took a road trip from NY to FL and when we arrived it was great to be placed in a large room with a fridge, microwave and extra sink (our kitchen). The view was great and the beds were so comfy, after sleeping in a car for two days it was great to be in such a nice hotel. The pools were great, our sons fave part. Free breakfast buffet for kids with paying adult was awesome, fresh waffles YUMMY. Staff was pleasant and that is always a plus We will definitely be back

You get what you pay for

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Things to do around the hotel like swimming pool, pool tables, arcade, playground. You don't need to go far for entertainment.
Cons: Rooms need to be stripped and upgraded.
Location: It's not the best location but it is relatively close to Disney World and lots of restaurants and stores in the area. Souvenir shops on every block.
Although the room was clean it was damp and smelled of mold. The first room we were assigned to was so damp that the carpet seemed saturated. Then we were checked into a room that could not be locked because the lock was malfunctioning and because my phone was not working I had to walk down to the front desk to report it. The staff however, we're accommodating enough and we're always willing to do what they could to fix it.
