“Good value for the money”

Room was clean, hallway smelled a bit like carpet shampoo solution. Had a room with kitchen - all the pots, dishes, flatware, glasses were clean. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a single king for us and two twin beds for the kids. We faced the pool and it was very quiet at night. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Guest services were friendly and helpful. We will be staying at this hotel again in the future if we return to the Orlando area.

“Very nice hotel”

Great pool bar and the weekday bartender is awesome. So be sure to check Donnie out when you come to stay.

“Great breakfast buffet!”

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was really nice. There was plenty of room for our family of 7! The breakfast buffett was a wonderful surprise! We were expecting pastries and bagels but instead had eggs, bacon, and Mickey shaped waffles! The location was a little farther from Disney than we expected but still only a 15 minute drive from Magic Kingdom. We didn't get to try out the pool while we were there but it looked nice. Overall a great experience!

“My place in Orlando”

“Nice Hotel!”

Positive: Residence Inn By Marriot .... is a nice place. Staffs are courtesey and prompt response to customers' requests. They provide each room most everything you need - very convenience. My family stayed there 6 days 5 nights and werer very happy! Negative: We had a difficult to sleep on the first night because they gave us a room that is next to their Water Valve Control Operating room( room # 144) the noise sounds like a flushing toilet and it runs 24/24 hrs. However, after I reported the problem to a gentleman who worked there and he responsed my request very quick to change other room for us. Their hotel location is far away from some stores ( CVS, Walgreen, ect.) if you don't have your own transportation. They sell stuffs such as water, fever medicine, ect. a little expensive. For example , a bottle of water costs $2.00, one Advil costs $3.00; whereas, a case of water includes 12 bottles costs $5 at CVS, something..... Overall, my family were happy there. If we have a chance to come back their hotel, we absolutely not select the room 144 and will rent a car before we come there so that we can buy something we need from somewhere else, not from thei hotel.

“Disney and universal studios July 2011”

Great hotel close to everything. We have 5 people, kids ages 5,8,12 and got the family suite. It has a king bed in one bedroom then another bedroom with twin beds and a sleeper sofa, a dining area, front room and kitchen with stove refrigerator, microwave and garbage disposal and toaster. very clean room. hotel is close to the freeway and I did notice a little noise from the traffic but not enough to keep you awake at night. Pool area is great and the manager reception is nice in the evening too. Just wish the pool bar would have stayed open longer. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Business area with two computers free to use. breakfast buffet not the greatest tasting but satisfying and filling. changed it up a little every day. eggs, bacon, sausage, grits,buiscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cereals, muffins,torteas various breads and fruits waffels and pancakes. coffee, apple juice or orange, and tea, or ice water. The only complaint we have is that the hotel elevators are extreamly slow. Seems like you have to wait forever for one to come down. After awhile we just took the stairs. We would definately stay here again and reccomend to any family with children. Game room is small and the kids loved playing air hockey. The fitness center is great. Has most of whatever you need to keep in shape while on vacation. they offer a shuttle to Epcot but we had a rental car so did not need it.

Area recommendations

This hotel is in the lake buena vista area. it is inbetween disney, sea world and universal studios. Restaurants and attractions and shopping are close by. I would also recommend the I drive area.

“Great place to get away from the crowds!”

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. It was not far from the Disney parks, but was in a more remote location so we could enjoy time away from crowds. The pool was very nice and there were always enough towels and chairs available. The breakfast was outstanding and the service was amazing. There were always fruits, juices, yogurts, cereals, breads, pastries as well as eggs, breakfast meats, waffles, breakfast burritos, gravy and biscuits. It was nice to have a room that was laid out differently than the basic studio hotel room. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Great deal ... with buffet breakfast”

Easy to find location. About 8 to 13 kms from WDW. We had a 2 BR suite with kitchen with one king & 2 queens. Very comfortable beds. THREE 40" LCD TVs. Great pool. Huge breakfast buffet with sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes, fruit, waffles, wraps, yogurt, toast, etc. You can even take a tray up to your room. Helpful staff. We did have two issues though but the staff fixed it the next day: slow shower drain and blocked shower head. Cooking in the suite may be a problem because there is no external exhaust vent. We set off the smoke alarm once. We took the shuttle bus one day only because it didn't fit with our schedule but it was on time and not crowded at all. Overall, we got an incredible deal.
