Clean, comfortable and in a Great LocationPosted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: Location, room clean, pool clean and warm.
Location: Wet and Wild, restaurant shoping fun things to do in walking distance.
We stayed on the lower section of the hotel because we liked the idea opening the door and being able to stepping outside for fresh air. Both beds where a little small I beleive they were full size. We had only one issue and that was one morning of our 7 day stay we were woken up a 5 am by a rubbish truck that was removing trash from a dumpster behind the hotel near or room. Otherwise is was a great stay and Buffet was cheap and great food. Filled us up so we did not spend lots money on food through the day.

Close to UniversalPosted Feb 28, 2014
We were looking for a hotel near Universal and this fit the bill perfectly for us. Free transportation to and from Universal Studios. Many good restaurants in easy walking distance.

Good hotel in great areaPosted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: location very good. Pool nice, breakfast buffet good, good shop selling usual tourist stuff, toiletries plus microwaveable foods
Cons: a jacuzzi would be nice by pool area to soak your feet and revive you after long days in the nearby parks.
Location: excellent location in middle of International Drive with loads of restaurants and stores nearby. great for Universal, Sea World and Wet n Wild
in middle of International drive with Ponderosa buffet restaurant across road, with an Applebees being built next to it. big Walgreens nearby. Many other restaurants nearby. Close to Universal Studios, Sea World.and Wet and Wild. great location. Hotel very nice with good facilities. Only drawback was bathroom in hotel room. it just had bath/shower and toilet, very small, no where to put things. wash hand basin was outside in room. Room did have fridge, microwave, safe, iron and board, plus coffee percolator.

No Traffic Noise - Comfortable RoomPosted Feb 27, 2014
Location: The Rosen Inn is near Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and Wet and Wild. Plenty of fun restaurants and activities up and down International Drive.
We wanted a room that was quiet; a tall order to fill with the building located between Interstate 4 and International Drive. The receptionist at the front desk offered us a room far from the elevator. No traffic noise and no elevator noise. We were delighted! The breakfast buffet was typical, but the wait staff was exceptional. All in all, I would stay at the Rosen Inn again next time we visit Orlando.

Excellent stay for Universal visitPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: Everything was fine and met my expectations.
Location: Great for sightseeing, shopping and eating along International Drive. We did not need a rental car.
My son and I stayed here for his 20th birthday visit to Universal parks. We enjoyed our view from the 8th floor. The room was clean, it had the amenities we wanted and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was recommended to us, & I would definitely recommend it to anyone. My son also enjoyed being entertained for his birthday during dinner at the Shogun Japanese Steakhouse Restaurant. The hotel shuttle to the park was great, and walking along International Drive was fun too.

Rosen, which one?Posted Feb 26, 2014
There are more than ten Rosen Hotels in Orlando....there are more than one named the Rosen Inn. I stayed at two both booked through Expedia. Make certain you know the address of the exact Rosen hotel you are booking and where it is. This can be very confusing and annoying. Rooms at the higher priced Rosen Centre are not up to the billed 4 star rating.....the hotel is huge, the pool is nice, but overall its a bit of a strange place. Its made for huge conventions. The Rosen Inn, nearest to Universal, is nowhere near Universal as far as I can tell....just farther up International Drive than the other two Rosen Inns in that immediate area...the rooms were actually nicer than those in the Rosen Centre, the bed a bit less so. Its an ordinary large motel style place, not much more or less really. I like the electric sockets in the lamps, very convenient....and the soap was nice. Overall here you know what you get and its a little above average, but not much.

Reviews for this hotel are deceiving.Posted Feb 21, 2014
Ramada inn is much better than this hotel. Water in the swimming pool is freezing cold. Complained and nothing happened. Did not refill coffee. Bathtub clogs. Rooms r dingy.

Nice hotel for first time visitors to Orlando areaPosted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: We liked that it was clean and quiet, but were particularly impressed with the staff's friendliness, from Viviana at front desk to Louis at the store.
Location: Very convenient location. Liked being able to hop on and off the I- trolley and the proximity to attractions and restaurants.
Our stay at the Rosen was very pleasant. The front desk staff were knowledgeable, friendly and very welcoming. Special mention should go to Viviana and Lise at the front desk. Viviana always had a warm greeting both at the beginning and end of a busy day of sightseeing and touring. Our room was quiet and clean and all of the cleaning staff were friendly and efficient. We had an enjoyable dinner at the Shogun restaurant and recommend it as well.
