The hotel itself is remarkably well maintained for being an older hotel. I was disappointed in the fact that it had a room AC unit which was very loud. I needed to get a restful nights sleep but the sound of it turning on intermittently during the night, left me unrested. The in room refrigerator also had a very loud hum continually. The breakfast buffet was very reasonably priced and the food well prepared. There was only one restaurant in the hotel and its menu was the same as room service. One extremely nice perk was there was Starbucks coffee in the room.

Nice hotel but one problemPosted Nov 11, 2014
The hotel is quite new, well appointed (with one exception noted below), in a good location (close to highway exit and not too far from Orlando attractions) , and relatively inexpensive for an Orlando area hotel. But the bedding is not for me - mattress too soft, pillows too soft and sheets cling to you (I think they are some synthetic material). Bottom line: my wife and I had tough time sleeping there.

FIVE STAR HOTEL for sure!Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: The decor and cleanliness
Location: The main highway, Rt 4 was very close, so all you had to do was get on it and get off the exit you wanted to get to EVERYTHING...shopping, restaurants
From the time we walked into the lobby, to the staff at the bar and restaurant and the cleaning staff, we were greeted with a friendly smile and treated professionally and respectfully. The room was super comfy and decorated beautifully. The atrium where we had the breakfast buffet was quite nice also, and the staff there were great also. The hotel is classy and the price was very very good. I like this hotel a lot and it was very convenient to get to from the turnpike and I-95.

Pleasant and relaxing.Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: see above
Cons: see above
Location: Business trip, didn't really have time to do this.
Very pleasant relaxing stay at this hotel. The staff were awesome, very friendly, helpful and always on their toes. A little disappointed that certain things were not included in the price (like wifi and continental breakfast) but certainly understand that the higher status the hotel the more money for stuff like those gets put into other areas (like paying good staff.)

Nice surprise for a last minute decision!Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Bedding, location, atmosphere
Cons: Snacks in vending machines, not just drinks
Location: Six miles from Amway Arena, quiet location away from the rush but not too far, you need a car
Two other ladies and I were attending a conference within driving distance of home...just. We decided it would be much easier and more enjoyable to get a room instead of driving late at night and before sunrise next morning. Being a last minute decision, we didn't expect much in the way of selection. This was 6 miles from the Amway Arena where our conference was. Wow! We were blown away. When you have your mind set to be okay with 'whatever' and you get 'sleeping on a cloud,' 'every amenity you could think of,' yeah, you say Wow. To start, the beds were unbelievably comfortable. Exquisite. Coffee, bottled water, ice, shampoo, etc. And because we were three women, it was a wonderful sleepover. No worries about grungy carpet or other things like that. A truly unexpected, delightful experience.

Great except...Posted Oct 13, 2014
Was perfect except for the barking dog across the hall one evening for 4 hours! Most surrounding guests were being re-roomed. Need a default system in this hotel for unhappy 4 legged children left unattended in rooms near non-pet friendly guests.

Nice hotel for business trips ...Posted Oct 10, 2014
Cons: less extra costs
Location: not a good location for the parks.
Locaion in the north of Orlando is ok for business trips. Very clean. Service ok. Unfortunately, many extra costs -> even wifi (depending on room location, open networks (lobby, conference rooms) can be used.
