"Orlando fun without the Mickey! "
Great experience at this Resort - our families first. Very happy to write and recommend this place. Our room was upgraded upon arrival to a 3 bed villa (Apt) that was in excellent condition - and was not long modernized. The Resort is huge surrounded by golf courses, but don't be put off by that if you have a family or golfing isn't your thing. There is a a super Lazy River and kiddies water slide area that our kids including ourselves loved. If that's not floating your boat then there numerous other pools etc to go to relax and chill. The Clubhouse is great Breakfast option if you don't fancy cooking especially the Resorts special offer when we stayed of kids eating free. The place is clean, well maintained and safe. Only gripe is the wifi (even though complementary) was very slow by today's standards. We will be back for sure! A great place to stay if staying full time with Mickey and his cohorts for a full week doesn't put a spring in your step but your after a great vacation nonetheless. Enjoy!

"Great hotel but I have one pet peeve"
Impeccable service and a fantastic property are the highlights of this hotel. My pet peeve was $20 for self parking. I'm ok with paying that for an in-town location or an area where parking is scarce but this hotel is not exactly in the middle of Disney or in a crowded city where parking is scarce. Everything else was awesome. Oh, and we ended up doing valet parking for a few extra bucks per night.

Very nice place. Nice rooms and great lobby area and pool. Definately a little pricey with the added resort fee per day and having to pay for parking per day, but the valet was worth it for us. Best part had to be the staff, every one of them was pleasant and happy to help. We will be back.

"Sea World get Away"
This is a great hotel. Has everything you need. The only negative is you pay the resort fee, and they don't let you know what's covered in that fee. You get two bottles f water???? Wii-Fi should be with this fee, but when you try to sign it, wants to charge you anther $14.95, Plus you have to pay for parking 22.00 more dollars. So be prepared to pay the extra. Room was great, Pool area very nice.

"Good but not deluxe"
At first arrival the main facilities looked excellent unfortunately it turned out we were too far away from them to gain any benefit from them throughout our stay. The room was lovely well kept and clean but for a deluxe hotel I would expect a nicer bathroom with a bigger bath. The air con was very noisy and didn't work properly (it would not keep a sustained temperature so was always too hot or cold). The bath was extremely slow draining. The cleaner was great but no privacy tag was given to us and we were awoken at 7.45-8.15 the first two mornings of our stay on the third day we left a note and were then given a privacy card but we were still awoken by knocking on other guests doors the following day. To us a deluxe hotel would mean having access to facilities but we basically paid for a hotel with a pool where the nearest pool and facilities (e.g laundry/food) were too far to be convenient which is a shame. I don't think the hotel was designed with the individual user in mind. We were told we could pay for our magic band purchases when checking out but when we checked out we were told there was no balance to pay. When we got home it turned out that the purchases had been charged to our credit card before check out. We had specifically asked if we could pay this before leaving in cash when we checked in.

    How To Pick Orlando Resorts

When it comes to finding perfect resort for your next trip to Orlando, Florida, there are number of options to choose from.

Because the city is nicknamed The Theme Park Capital of the World, you probably won’t be surprised to find that there are various family-friendly resorts in Orlando, FL. These places are a great option for your family vacation as they cater to your kiddos. Many of them present child-approved menus at the on-site restaurants, play structures in the pool areas, and convenient shuttle service to the nearby amusement parks. You’ll even come across a variety of waterpark resorts in Orlando for the ultimate family adventure.

However, it’s not all about the kids when it comes to resorts in Orlando. You’ll also discover lodging with adult-only pool areas, championship golf courses, and nightclubs, too. Several of the luxury resorts even feature some of the best spas in the area, complete with body therapies, facials, massages, and salon services.

When you’re searching for Orlando resort deals, look no further than our selection right here to find one that suits all your preferences and price range.

Best and Worst Times to Visit Orlando

If you’re not a fan of crowds, avoid visiting Orlando when schools break for vacation. Families often travel to this amusement park mecca when the kids are out of school, which means spring and summer break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas can be especially busy times in this city.

Along with the tourists, summer brings humid weather, temperatures in the 90s F, and higher prices. Summertime also welcomes an increase in rainfall. Storms often roll in during the afternoon, but they usually clear up within a few hours. Florida’s hurricane season lasts from June to November. Even though Orlando isn’t on the coast, hurricanes and tropical storms can still affect the city.

For cooler temperatures in the 70s F, consider visiting between January and April or September and December. While you may need to pack a light jacket during these times, you’ll receive lower rates and won’t have to deal with the crowds.

    Things to Do

There’s no shortage of thrill rides and entertainment in Orlando. You’ll find the House of Mouse and various other theme parks, such as Universal Studio Florida® and LEGOLAND® Florida Resort. These parks aren’t just for children, though. During your Orlando visit, get dizzy on the spinning rides, bask on man-made beaches, and scream at the top of your lungs on the rollercoasters. Discover The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ at Universal’s Islands of Adventure®, and hang out with the world’s most famous mouse and his crew.

After reeling from all the thrill rides, take a break at one of the many museums in town. Check out the masterpieces at Orlando Museum of Art, marvel at the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, and tour Leu Gardens and Leu House Museum. From the Orlando Science Center to the nearby Kennedy Space Center, there are plenty of exhibits to strike your fancy. Then after gallivanting around the city all day, rest up at one of the best Orlando resorts in town.
