Springhill Suites - Disney World Vacation

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: Big rooms!
Location: We hit the outlet shopping just a mile away and there were lots and lots of eating options close by!
This was a welcome change to the 2 days we stayed at in a Disney property. Larger rooms/bathroom - wonderful breakfast! Space is nice when you are on a 2 week vacation! Close to food, shopping and theme parks! So clean too! Our room has was a 2 double with pull out couch and small mini kitchen. The site notes parking fee of $6 so we were not bothered by that plus even with the parking fee it was a better deal than the Disney property we had stayed at.

Hotel is close to Disney Parks.

Pros: Staff was friendly.
Cons: Rooms could be cleaned more often. Serving hut breakfast that is hut not just a little warm. Having longer breakfast time.
Location: Near Disney.
It was an ok experience. The front desk staff was very nice. Complementary Breakfast was something to be desire. Not enough room to eat in the dinning room, I had to go back to my room and by the time I got there my unappealing breakfast was cold. In the middle of the night when we came in to our room our keys did not work, thankfully there was a very helpful staff member that opened our room. The next day when we came back our room was supposed to be cleaned but nothing was cleaned except garbage was taken out. It is close to Disney and rooms are big enough. It was nice to have microwave, but first time when we used it smelled like something was burning. We did not use pool because it was cold, but pool looked very small. In overall, spend a little more and go stay somewhere else.

Quick one day

Posted Dec 14, 2014
Great hotel aside from the staff at check-in was not pleasant or helpful at all. They didn't tell us that all rooms start with a 3, therefore we went to every floor looking for our room. Once we found it, our accomodations were great. The next morning, the complimentary breakfast was great! The breakfast staff did sigh a great job keeping the flow of the line moving and keeping everything stocked. Great experience!

The hotel has been newly remodeled

Posted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: Close to downtown Disney and has a lot of things close by.
Cons: needs more breakfast choices. Some sort of potato or pancake or waffle.
Location: The outlet mall is close by for shopping. Two grocery stores near by. Plenty of places to eat. Close to the theme parks.
the hotel is very nice but there are a few things I wish I would have known. As a guest you can use the other pools at the village. The courtyard across the circle had an indoor swimming pool and I am sure the children would have loved to swim if the outdoor water wasn't so cold. breakfast is ok but changes very little so by day 4 you are pretty tired of the same thing. Overall is a wonderful place and very close to Disney.

Couldn't have been better

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: Location Comfort of room Helpful staff
Cons: Variety of food at breakfast
Location: Close to theme parks & shops Plenty of restaurants within walking distance
Have previously stayed at the Fairfield, so knew that the location of the Marriott Village LBV is second to none for visiting the various theme parks, shopping & eating out, but decided on this visit to 'upgrade' to the Springhill Suites. Were allocated one of the newly refurbished suites on the 3rd floor which was clean, comfortable & beautifully decorated/furnished. The same was true of all the public areas of the hotel. We also found every member of staff that we spoke to most polite & helpful, especially Hamet who both checked us in & checked us out. The breakfast offering was more than adequate, if not a little bit repetitive, but hey, it's complimentary & as regular visitors to the US, we know that this is not the case in the majority of hotels. All items were regularly replenished & tables cleared & cleaned quickly, meaning that we never had to wait for a seat. Also appreciated the complimentary tea/coffee which was available in the lobby during the morning & evening. Would not hesitate to return.
