It's a resort for anyone who wishes to stay in a comfortable, luxury resort. I was traveling with young kids and they always had something to do. In addition, there are also entertainment for us the adults. So, don't miss the chance to have a great vacation.

“A great family freindly place to stay!”

We really enjoyed our stay at this Resort, the condos are spacious and have every ammenity you can think of including cookware! The resort itself has tons to see and do with pools and kids play areas (both wet and dry) along with an accomodating staff and transportation to any other area inside the resort free. The grounds and rooms are beautiful with the exception of the stairwells, stairs and the balconies of the rooms themselves which could have in my opinion been much cleaner, but since all buildings have elevators located close to your rooms it wasnt really that big of an issue and a simple sweep of the balcony with the broom provided with the room cleared it of bugs as well. Overall I would rate this resort highly and look forward to going back to stay there with my family again.

“Great Place to Stay Especially for Families or Groups”

This resort was a very nice place for the money. The main pool/hot tub were open 24 hours. My room was considerably close to it and didn't have any problems. If you plan on sleeping before 11pm, I would recommend asking for a room farther away from the pool. They had karaoke until 11pm every night! Which is fun, if you like that sort of thing! The room was very clean! I'm always afraid to look in corners or showers, b/c that's how you tell if they're detail oriented or not. To my delight, no yucky corners or showers! The bed could have been nicer and softer, but hey, it's not home! It was extremely nice to have a kitchen, stove, refrigerator, stackable washer/dryer for "just-in-case." The resort was located at the far West end of 192. So make sure that's where you want to be. Very close to Disney/MGM, etc. Minutes away from places to eat, shop, etc. The malls were about 20 min. away. Just head East on I-4, look to the left, you'll find everything you need! I would definitely stay here again!

“Great amenities for kids”

This resort was a great place to stay if you have kids. There are so many amenities for the kids around the resort, as well as for adults too. The location is excellent also. It's about 20 mintues from SeaWorld, 15 minutes from Disney. The only complaint I have about our room is that they must've waxed the tile floors in the living room/kitchen area with something because we almost slipped and fell about 4 times while staying in our room. The tiles were very slippery with a wax or polish that they must use and it made me nervous with my kids running around. I did mention it to the resort so they could be aware that it's not safe on the floors. It makes the floors way too slippery! Overall, the place was a wonderful place, we loved the bar & grill by the pool. I would recommend anyone to stay there, especially if you have young children.

“Extremely Nice Staff”

The vacation started with a rough start. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and got lost! When we finally arrived; our taxi fare was $90!!! We arrived at Summer Bay Resort and they looked at our reservation and told us that we were in the hotel accross the street. It was called the Summer Bay Inn. No where on my reservation did it say Summer Bay Inn. From here the vacation got better. We arrived at the inn and they upgraded our deluxe room to a Suite for FREE. The staff was so nice! They helped us get a rental car and gave us a really great deal on Disney tickets. They did everything they could to help our stay be as great as it could be. The pictures provided on the site are not pictures of the Summer Bay Inn. They are all taken from the Summer Bay Resort which is accross the huge highway. It was a good stay overall.

“Great value for the price close to Disney/Universal.”

We really enjoyed this hotel. Lots of space in a 2 bedroom condo for a family of 4. Lots to do on the property also. Putt-Putt, water sports, pools (heated), tennis, playgrounds, water park.

“Great resort and great for families”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Summer Bay Resort. Our 2 BR condo ws very nice. The resort has multiple pools nd most are heated and this was nice as the temps. were a bit on the cool side when we were there. They offer multiple activities for kids each day nd the "balloon guy" is a must see if you can make it. He was great. We heard that he also does a magic show but we were unable to see that. If the price is right, we will stay there again.
