Enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed the accommodations. The only disappointment was the addition $20+ per day resort fee that wasn't clearly stated when I booked the room.

Pros: the pool =)
Cons: the rooms need to be improved and updated and cleaned really well.
Location: downtown disney
the only good thing about this hotel was that it was right across from downtown disney. when we got to the hotel we didn't get the room we originally had booked because the rooms in the main building were under maintenence so they gave us a room in the next building. when we got to our room it looked similar to the pictures but the pictures didn't show how much these rooms need to be updated. the bathroom wall and ceiling paint was peeling. there was rust around the bathroom and in the tiles. there were cracks around the bathroom sink. at night when the ac was running we would hear a strange noise coming thru the vents that would go on all night long which we found disturbing since we had a 2yr old with us.The bed comforters are so disgusting they have so many dark spots that u can't see because their covered up by the covers. the last straw was pretty much when i saw ants all around the fridge and by the thermostat. so i called the front desk and they had switched us over to another room. no questions asked. this hotels needs to be updated and renovated big time!!

My vacation stay

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: I liked the location of the hotel, the ease of getting to Disney parks by bus, the view from hotel room, etc
Cons: Small things- slippers, shower caps, robes, etc for guests would make it so much better :)
Location: Downtown Disney is a short walk away which was great!
I enjoyed my vacation at the hotel- the staff was friendly, and the room was smaller than I thought it'd be but it was comfy. The walls were too thin and so I could hear too much of the neighbors- from the sides and above. The neighbors would let the doors close on their own early in the morning so it sounded like they slammed it which woke me up earlier than I'd like. The ice machine was a few doors down and was loud each time someone went to get ice which can be at all hours of the night.

hotel room

the entrance in lobby are beautiful however once you get inside the hotel room they stink and smell like mold and mildew. the rooms are very outdated in comparison to the illusion the lobby gives you. for what you pay a night to stay there the interior of the room should definitely be more updated and smell fresh

Cons: Television quality was mediocre (reception seemed poor), and the movie options were excessively over-priced; I wanted to rent a movie... not for $17
Location: Very close to downtown Disney. Very convenient, only a 10 minute walk.
Overall, the experience was very nice, nothing blew me away, but I would happily go again or recommend it to others. The pool area was very nice, not over-the-top, but enjoyable and easy to access. The grounds are maintained well. Surprisingly, they had a nice video game room, great for kids and (kid-like) adults. (And seriously expedia, why is there a minimum experience description required... this will deter me from writing another review. If I only want to comment six words, that's my prerogative, but this form keeps telling me that I have not hit the minimum review yet and it's driving me bonkers)

Fairly close to the parks. Very near to Dowtown.

Posted Jan 23, 2015
The hotel has the plus side of being near to Downtown Disney. The parks are a few miles away and the hotel provides a shuttle, which is free, however watch for the resort fee! The hotel is very large and it seems that it's too big to maintain. As it was January the room was cold and we asked the hotel staff for the heating to be fixed, they did send someone but we still had problems with the heating. The staff were generally helpful and the hotel was was quite good for the price. However the cafe was very expensive.

Old Hotel Not kept current

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Not much
Cons: A LOT
Location: Disney
The pictures on Expedia look a lot better than the actual hotel. We booked an island suite. It was a separate tower with a long walk. The property looked like an old Embassy Suites. Seemed empty. The AC in the room didn't cool. They fixed it the day after we arrived. There was mold on the ceiling near the door to the balcony, the door jams had rust the bathroom stunk like sweat. We asked the concierge to make reservations for dinner and his reply was "he didn't have any magic number to call that was different than we did", because I said the restaurant didn't answer.

Remember it being nicer:(

Cons: Updates, transportation from airport and indoor pool.
Location: Convenience to Downtown Disney and buses to parks
This was the 3rd time I have come with family. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the room. It had a humid must smell. It may be just time but everything looked dated except for the main lobby.
