Great location!! Overall good experience. Staff was very nice. Jacuzzi takes too long to heat up so wasn't able to use it.

July 13 - 18 visit

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: The peace and quiet.
Cons: A small fridge would be nice for longer stays.
Location: Nice lake and park across the street. Plenty of dining and shopping options within a few minutes walk.
Surprisingly quiet and relaxing. Great bed. Nice linen and towels. Balcony was definitely a plus. No fridge or microwave, yet there are plenty of dining options within a short walking distance. Nice neighborhood. Friendly people all around.

ROOMS ARE SMALL

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: the charm of it
Cons: the rooms do need updating
Location: Shopping nearby and close to public transportation.
booked this for my son and his friend. The rooms are very small but adequate. There is a hot tub open until 10 PM and there is the spa. They forgot to clean my son's room and that was very disappointing considering the prices they charge. This hotel sits atop a Panera Bread, so breakfast is convenient. This is the old charming downtown Orlando in the Thorton shopping district right near Lake Eola.If you are claustrophobic I would not recommend this place.

room was great with outside facing city park. Desk attendant was very helpful in finding a place to eat and there was ample places in the area. Lovely city park across the street with lake in downtown Orlando.

Quiet stay for business.

Posted May 23, 2014
Pros: Very near my place for meeting or business.
Cons: Parking is in the back, but that was okay. But since the entrance was also in the back, I felt safe. The trees on side balcony could be more open.
Location: Nice for things to do in the park. Close to shopping and restaurants.
The Inn or hotel was very nice and cozy. Across from the park and Lake Eola. The staff very informative and pleasant. No tobacco scent in the room or lobby on floor. Very nice over all. Panera restuarant on first floor, convenient.

Very nice boutique hotel

Posted May 9, 2014
This is a small hotel adjacent to Thornton Park, a really cute neighborhood in Orlando with historical homes, wonderful restaurants and a sparkling lake. It is, in fact, right across the street from Lake Eola which is a wonderful place to start your day. The hotel was very responsive to all my needs, was quite clean and offers spa amenities. A perfect place to stay.

What a lovely little unique place to stay.

Posted Apr 19, 2014
Pros: The staff was excellent, they brought a small refrigerator in for me. The spa looked fantastic but did not have time to enjoy it.
Cons: More info on the spa and specials if they have them.
Location: Loved Lake Eola and the swans and ducks, what a lovely area!
Great small boutique style hotel, across the street from a lovely lake and eateries that are fantastic within walking distance. The hot tub area and patio were a bonus. Just loved the veranda off my room, nice place to sit and have coffe and bagel from Panera just downstairs. It's a must to walk to the Hawthorne area a great little French cafe is a must and CityFish has great seafood.

Great choice and close to downtown.

Pros: Boutique character of the hotel. In-room bathroom is a big bonus.
My stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. I'm from the Northwest where boutique properties often do not have an in-room bathroom and are smaller.
