Relaxing, peaceful. Home away from home.Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: The private deck. The swimming pool at the Hyatt.
Cons: Maybe the room service menu. It was quite bland.
Location: Close to universal studios where we went. Disneyworld. Good restaurants.
So I am the skeptic type when it comes to online bookings because I have seen it all, having traveled quite a bit. The reviews I read on this property were quite amazing, so I went ahead and booked a getaway for my family. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, it was beautiful. The staff was so warm and welcoming. It was my wife's and I ten year wedding anniversary, and when we got there, a concierge had arranged champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries in our room! We had a private deck, where I fished every evening after our daily excursions, and also indulged in the free drinks at the front reception area. I never caught any fish( I blame the booze) but the ambience was just relaxing and serene, which was what we were looking for. My wife recently gave birth to our newborn son, and a getaway was deserving for us as a family. I am absolutely coming back with my family, and will probably make this my spot when I stay in Orlando.

Villas of Grand CypressPosted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: Good Quality Access to the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress resort
The overall property is kept to a very high standard. The General Manager and the Head of Rooms were very helpful when I needed assistance following damage sustained to my hire car. Staff are very polite and helpful. Comfortable beds, with room serviced daily by cheerful staff! The Pool and surrounding area is tranquil. Golf courses are in very good condition - you might also see a 5 time major champ practicing there, as I did

Extremely nice Resort type hotelPosted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Everything was wonderful, and the grounds and the golf course views from our windows was just so beautiful.
Cons: I wish they had a concierge at the hotel. As it is we had to use the concierge at their sister property, the Hyatt Cypress Gardens, which was still ok
Location: Almost in Disney World's backyard which was really convenient for our purposes. Also near to a variety of shopping malls & the other theme parks
The hotel was perfect in every way. We had 2 rooms and the rooms were nice and big, and the bathrooms extremely clean and big as well. The rooms had a nice seating area with a couch that could open up as a bed if required. The bathroom had a huge mirror with an inbuilt tv screen in the mirror which was really nice, and the toiletries were really wonderful. We had a problem with leakage from the roof in our bathroom, but the maintenance team in the hotel responded really fast and fixed the leak as soon as we reported it. The staff were extremely courteous and nice at ever single location, from the reception team to those driving the shuttle buses to the staff at the restaurant and coffee shop as well as the maintenance teams. The only thing about the hotel was that we needed a car to get around anywhere and even from the hotel to the restaurant we needed a golf car/ shuttle as it was extremely hot to walk. But that did not detract at at all from the wonderful experience we had and i would stay there again if i am in Orlando in the future. Location is very near to Disneyworld and all the theme parks.

Pros: We liked that it was off the beaten path of the Disney parks, but had close, very easy access to them. A nice, calm respite after a long day.
Cons: Perhaps some additional food items could be added to the Room Service and Clubhouse menu. Also, $39 for a filet seemed a little steep for the area.
Location: The hotel has shuttle service to the Disney Parks or you are only a 15 - 20 minute drive if you wish to drive and park.
Our experience, overall, was extremely positive. The resort has limited food / restaurant options; however, the quality of the food and service was impeccable. The restaurant staff was always on point and extremely service oriented. One of the most clean resorts we've ever stayed with the most comfortable beds and pillows. The renovated Club Suites were roomy w/ lots of wonderful amenities, including a Keurig coffee maker, wine glasses (we brought our own wine along), coffee mugs (not plastic cups!) and glass tumblers. The walk-in closet was overwhelmingly appreciated and assured our sleeping quarters and living space were not cluttered with our clothing and luggage. The bathroom was very large with a stunning separate shower and tub, plus two sinks. Lots of wonderful bathroom amenities such as a TV built into the large mirror over the sinks. Lastly, the pool is a lovely salt water pool and the water temperature was warm. A great way to end each day was with a quiet evening swim.

Nice...very quiet.Posted Jul 19, 2014
First time stay at the villas. We had a two bedroom villa. The first bedroom villa was equipped with a full kitchen, dinning room and leaving room. The second bedroom was an adjoining villa with a connecting door. Our two duaghters shared this smaller adjoining villa. With our stay we got to enjoy the amenities of the Hyatt that is located up the road. Shuttle services available so you don't have to drive over and pay for parking. We got to enjoy bike ridding, paddle boating and the large pool. The only surprise was the $22 per room per day service charge.

Very nice stay. Friendly staff and comfort room. Only we didn't like the breakfast . For that we were using Grand C Hyatt. The location of the hotel is excellent . Sure if I will stay in Orlando next time we will stay at this resort .

Great escape from the Theme Parks in Orlando!Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: The natural surroundings
Cons: Cleaniness of rooms
Fantastic natural surroundings a few miles away from the Disney Theme Parks. Lovely golf course, swimming pool and a great trail for running and pretty good food. The staff is very professional and extremely helpful. Forget the Disney Resorts!!
