It was great fun!Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Privacy of a cottage yet convenient to all property amentities
Location: Right in the middle of Disney and Universal - perfect spot. Close to dining and shopping as well
Booked this last minute trip to Orlando area with kids and it was a good time. I had stayed at Tropical Palms years ago and it is still fun.

Ok stayPosted May 25, 2015
Hotel check-in process was quite slow and the 10am check-out is unreasonable. Hotel is fairly close to major attractions but in the more ragged part of Orlando.

Family getawayPosted May 16, 2015
We've always come before but we hadn't been in quit a few years. So we decided to go for Mother's Day and we had such an amazing time. It was my fiancé and his mother's first time and they thought it was great! The premium cabin we had was great and we just had such a nice time and the kids had a good time. It's definitely something we'll like to keep doing :)

I go every year to Tropical PalmsPosted May 4, 2015
They are under new management they said. Young staff with no manager in duty till Sunday at 10am we were told this on Friday night. They seem to not be very knowledgable about the resort. We were coming back in two months and already reserved the future date and while there this weekend we asked to pick out cottages we wanted and they said we can't do that. They said they reserve a cottage but you don't know what your getting till the day of check in. This is crazy. We have come every year and reserved the cottages we want with no issues. After some calling around we finally got ahold of a staff member who helped us pick the cottages we wanted. When I checked out Sunday I handed her the keys and she said" ok your all set" I said "no, I would like a receipt of my checkout showing a zero balance for my records" they looked at me like a deer in headlights and couldn't figure out how to even print a receipt. Eventually it all worked out. We will continue to come back because we truly love the experience it offers, I just can't say the same for their customer service.

Nice quiet place close to DisneyPosted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Convenience, kitchen and quiet.
Cons: Some of the units don't have their own parking space, and you have to park in a lot which some people would find too far (it's only a 2 minute walk).
Location: It's right on 192....close to Disney and the 1-4. It's also right at Old Town, which is a fair-type place. There is a starbucks close by.
This is our second time staying here. The units are clean, nice and quiet. This is great place if you want a quiet vacation near a pool with your own deck and kitchen and living room. You can drive to Disney in under 8 minutes and Universal Studios in 15. The unit we had this time was a little older than the one before, but it was still clean and had new appliances. I wouldn't say this is a fancy place, but it's nice for families or couples. All the linens are clean and fresh, and there is a dishwasher and lots of dishes. They even supply you with paper towels and dish soap, and you can get fresh towels. The biggest plus is it is a steal for what you pay for it, and you have your own cottage---you don't share a wall with a loud family with a screaming baby, nor with drunk people. The staff are friendly. One of our keys didn't work and they fixed it in under 2 minutes and were very pleasant. It also has laundry on site, and for us, who were travelling for 3 weeks, this was a bonus to be able to put in laundry. I would recommend that anyone looking to relax stay here. It's quiet, family-friendly, and safe.

Would stay againPosted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Pool area was great!
Cons: Cleaning the outside of the cabins a bit. First impression made me a little worried about the inside but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in.
Location: The location was perfect plenty to do nearby and every restaurant you can imagine. Right next to Old Town. Easy drive to all the parks.
Loved the grounds and the pool area was beautiful. The outside of the cabin could have been a little cleaner I was a little worried when we first pulled up to it. The inside of the cabin was very clean and cute. The pull out couch mattress very uncomfortable you could feel all the springs. It was plenty big enough for 3 of us. The price was great and we would stay again. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful.
