“We'll be home soon...”
My friend was visiting Vacation Village for the first time and upon entering our suite said with a smile, "It's just like home". Now this is a person that does not like to travel because he says, "hotel rooms are cold and aesthetic... not homey at all"... Let me tell you, before we got home, he asked when we are going back...
I have stayed at the Village many times before and have always been very satisfied with the service and accommodations, which is why we return there so often... So just letting you know... "We'll be home soon"...
When to go
Travel to Orlando/Kissimee in the early fall is wonderful... Rates are lower and the waits are shorter... If you are visiting the parks, the lines are shorter and in a milder climate(70-80 degree weather) you get to enjoy the environment, scenery and outdoor attractions more.
What to pack
You will be very comfortable in your leisure clothes (cotton and breathable fabrics are best) with pockets and be sure to wear comfortable shoes (not new shoes), those that are old friends to your tootsies.
Bring a backpack to carry your lightweight jacket for later when the sun goes down (sometimes it cools off by about 5 degrees or so). You can also bring beverages and have a place to store your small purchases without fear of putting them down and inadvertently leaving them.
Ladies, no purses if not necessary. Find yourself a fashionable body sling bag or a back sling to keep your valuables close to your body but your hands free.
