Pros: Walking distance to Epcot and Disney Hollywood Studios
Cons: Fresh Mediterranean Market service was awful. Took over an hour to get food and then one meal came out wrong. Staff not friendly.
Location: Great location. Walking distance to Epcot, Boardwalk, and Disney Hollywood Studio which saved waiting for shuttle. boat available to these parks.
Second time stayed at the Dolphin. Liked location. Was able to check into room early and had late check in. Concierge staff very helpful. Did not like the fact that everyone was charged a resort package which included wi-if connection, water, and coffee in the room. Didn't't have a choice. Was automatically charged daily. Most hotels coffee in the room is included in the room. Restaurant staff not "Disney" friendly. The Fountain was out of half of their ice cream flavors.

Met my expectations! A little too big, lots of people, not very exclusive or luxurious, if that's your kinda thing, but it has all the amenities, comfort and all. Great choice!

Easy Access to Epcot

Posted Feb 20, 2015
The Dolphin hotel was both comfortable and elegant. Its close proximity to Epcot is extremely convenient. Also, their dining options are above average when compared to some other Disney dining options.

We had a good time. Grounds were fantastic. Staff was friendly and the bed (mattress)was the best I have ever experienced in a high quality hotel.

Service problems

Posted Feb 17, 2015
We were thrilled to take a weekend to Disney with our son. After a loooong first day, we got home fairly late to an absolutely frigid room. It was 65 degrees and we had been in very cold weather that evening. We tried to call down to see if they could do something but after several minutes on hold my husband just went down to the front desk. The front desk attendant said that because of the late hour we should wait until the next day and they were "sure it would warm up". No dice. The room stayed at 65 all night. My young son developed a cough and runny nose and it wasn't until 9pm the NEXT night (after a second call) that the heat was fixed. I couldn't sleep (partially due to my 2nd trimester pregnancy) because my husband was freezing next to me. We complained that night about the lack of service but the hotel did nothing for us. We really expected more from a Disney resort. The lack of assistance was quite disconcerting.

Doesn't have the Disneyland experience

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Beds were very comfortable!
Cons: Valet parking experience.
Location: Good location!
As my friend and I were looking for hotels, we wanted to experience all the Disneyland experience, but it was not quite like that in this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable, but, it did not have the Disneyland magic that we were looking for... rooms were clean, hotel facilities were ok, hotel staff at the front desk were awesome, but the valet parking experience was not good at all. The guy was trying to get 4 cars at a time! On top of that, he thought we were not going to tip him, so he was making all this faces and talking to himself. Once we gave him a tip, he was nice to us. Of course the next day I went to the self parking area. So, if you're driving to this hotel, go for self parking. Aside from that episode, the hotel was nice, but too cold for the Disneyland spirit.

Disappointed

Posted Feb 16, 2015
The hotel staff was extremely rude. Upon check in we were not aware of the hidden fees. Parking fees should not be an extra expense. We were very disappointed in our stay.

Paying for the location.

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Rooms are ok but dated comparing a much cheaper hotel chain. The bad experience was that i called the day before to order a bottle of champagne and strawberries with chocolate and they even ask me to write a letter and when i arrived at 11 pm there was anything and nobody knew anything about the order. Of course i left it like that because the surprise was already ruined
