Cons: Room updates?
Location: Anything you want! You can walk the Boardwalk or visit the Yacht Club and then go onto Epcot!
We love the location of the Dolphin because we can walk to Epcot from there. The Dolphin is GREAT, don't get me wrong...some things are a bit dated, but you can't beat the location!

Close to Disney parksPosted Apr 24, 2015
Love the proximity to the board walk for evening walks. We had a lovely room overlooking the beach and pool. The pool and playground kept our kids entertained! Would go back in the future.

Watch out for extra costsPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: it is in the hart of every thing. staff was great and very helpful.
Cons: being up front with costs. and maybe it's not just them expedia is to blame also. small print seems to be greating smaller.
Location: Perfect location for Epcot and Disney Hollywood, you can walk to both.
Had a great holiday, however all the extra costs at the hotel from parking, resort fees and no transport from airport. Once you get over that the place is great they say they are Disney? the only thing that is. Is the store, Disney doesn't charge extra than the price they give you at the start.

Walt Disney parksPosted Apr 19, 2015
It is close to theme parks but you don't need to pay much to the hotel as long as you got a car

Much different feel versus the disney resorts. More upscale and less children.

Swan & DolphinPosted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: The staff really tried to be helpful and were apologetic about the issues that occurred.
Cons: Make it clear that it is called a Walt Disney World Hotel but it is not an officall Disney hotel with Disney standars.
Location: Close to Epcot and Disney transportation.
I was disappointed on arrival that it was not a Disney Hotel but had the same benefits of a Dusney hotel. This was not made clear until check in. I was expecting a disney themed hotel and unfortunately the hotel did not live up to expectations. The cleanliness of the hotel was somewhat disappointing - the corridors often had plates/trollies of used food (from room service) left for long periods of time which did smell. The fixtures ( electrical sockets) were loose and the room could have done with a paint. The pool area was always packed ( which I appreciate was the time of year - easter) and napkins and glassess lay littered around - it was not inviting! The restaurants eg: buffets always seem to have very little food left. After dining in 2 restaurants I decided not to try any more! Overall I was extremely disappointed with the hotel and it did have an impact on my whole disney experience.

Great budget option for Disney WorldPosted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Budget friendly with the perks of a WDW Resort hotel. Late check out available.
Cons: Some of the bathroom fixtures are starting to become outdated, but nothing too major.
Location: Perfect location for Epcot and Hollywood studios, just a few minutes away. Close to Disney's Boardwalk, Yacht Club, and Beach Resort.
This is a great option if you are looking to do Disney World on a budget but still get the full Disney experience. It includes almost all the extra perks of staying at a WDW resort hotel. Early magic hours, transportation to the parks, etc. The one thing they do not have is the free transportation from MCO airport to their hotel. You will have to pay extra for that. Overall though, a nice hotel that will give you a little more bang for your buck than WDW owned hotels. Staff was friendly and very willing to help accommodate us for late check out on our last day.
