Walt Disney parksPosted Apr 19, 2015
It is close to theme parks but you don't need to pay much to the hotel as long as you got a car

Much different feel versus the disney resorts. More upscale and less children.

Swan & DolphinPosted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: The staff really tried to be helpful and were apologetic about the issues that occurred.
Cons: Make it clear that it is called a Walt Disney World Hotel but it is not an officall Disney hotel with Disney standars.
Location: Close to Epcot and Disney transportation.
I was disappointed on arrival that it was not a Disney Hotel but had the same benefits of a Dusney hotel. This was not made clear until check in. I was expecting a disney themed hotel and unfortunately the hotel did not live up to expectations. The cleanliness of the hotel was somewhat disappointing - the corridors often had plates/trollies of used food (from room service) left for long periods of time which did smell. The fixtures ( electrical sockets) were loose and the room could have done with a paint. The pool area was always packed ( which I appreciate was the time of year - easter) and napkins and glassess lay littered around - it was not inviting! The restaurants eg: buffets always seem to have very little food left. After dining in 2 restaurants I decided not to try any more! Overall I was extremely disappointed with the hotel and it did have an impact on my whole disney experience.

Great budget option for Disney WorldPosted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Budget friendly with the perks of a WDW Resort hotel. Late check out available.
Cons: Some of the bathroom fixtures are starting to become outdated, but nothing too major.
Location: Perfect location for Epcot and Hollywood studios, just a few minutes away. Close to Disney's Boardwalk, Yacht Club, and Beach Resort.
This is a great option if you are looking to do Disney World on a budget but still get the full Disney experience. It includes almost all the extra perks of staying at a WDW resort hotel. Early magic hours, transportation to the parks, etc. The one thing they do not have is the free transportation from MCO airport to their hotel. You will have to pay extra for that. Overall though, a nice hotel that will give you a little more bang for your buck than WDW owned hotels. Staff was friendly and very willing to help accommodate us for late check out on our last day.

Family Spring Break TripPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: That it is a sister hotel to the Disney resorts but you still get most of the perks that a Disney hotel has. I did not know that it was not Disney!
Cons: The Bathrooms are out dated and a little dirty looking. The food/service at the highend resturant at the Dolphin needs to be improved!
Location: Location is Perfect, Perfect, Perfect Loved being able to ride the ferry to Epcot, Boardwalk, and Hollywood Studios
The location is great and enjoyed a week with my family!

Just OK. Not worth the money.Posted Apr 13, 2015
This isn't a resort. It's an Okay hotel. It has a decent pool area but lacks enough lounges and they were frequently out of towels. If you want a lounge get down early. Only one time did anyone come around and ask if we needed drinks. (Those are $10.00 each btw). The room was clean enough but by 3:30 still no housekeeper. Had to call (and wIt 5 mins on hold) to request one. They did send one within 30 mins. You just get this feels by that the place isn't very well run. Disney is all about guest experience and this place falls well short of that. Next time I would stay in a property actually owned and run by Disney. This hotel is Starwood , which is normally great. Just not this time for us.

Over priced.Posted Apr 13, 2015
Room and hallway smelled. Room in need of updating. Floors very dirty. I did not take my shoe off until I got into bed. Pre purchased the room with Expedia, the low price I paid was the beginning. The hotel charged $18 a night for SELF parking PLUS a $43 internet charge which I did not want, but the manager said it is mandatory.
