Beautiful hotel in the heart of Walt Disney WorldPosted Jul 22, 2014
The staff at this hotel are phenomenal. We made our reservation on the spur of the moment, just hours before our expected arrival time. When we arrived at check-in, the staff explained that there was a problem with the water at the Swan, and provided us with a free room upgrade and complimentary breakfast vouchers for their sister hotel the Dolphin. It was an amazing experience!!

Good hotel close to most attractionsPosted Jul 19, 2014
We had a pleasant stay (7 days in July 2014). Pros: Clean, comfortable room Lovely pool/beach area Good location Great dining options Some examples of wonderful service Cons: Aggressive air conditioning - we literally felt that we had stepped into a fridge every time we were indoors. I had to wear a jumper at breakfast. Very unreliable bus transport to Disney parks (schedules would change with no notice to guests resulting in people waiting for buses that were not coming; buses very slow; frequency of buses very poorly organized; buses uncomfortably cold. It took is 2 hours to travel to Downtown Disney resulting in a missed reservation and we spoke to numerous guests with similar experiences. Although this was a Disney transport issue not specific to just one hotel). Some very rude staff members (particularly during breakfast service and at the ticket desk)

Too much waiting to check in for no reason. Not enough people at front desk. Too much waiting at breakfast waiting for toasted bagel.

Nice hotelPosted Jul 16, 2014
The staff and hotel were very nice. We had rude people in the room next to us and after calling the front desk they moved us to another room which was a little upgrade to what we had. After a long day and night at Magic Kingdom when we got back to our room we called for room service, it came fast and was delious. We will be back again.

Pros: Nice hotel, clean, helpful staff, great options on facilities - pool beach area etc
Cons: More information for families about food choices, menus Offer rides/transit to local shops like WalMart

Nice friendly staff Helpful Restaurants on site very expensive would have been good to have more information about food choices in the area

Convenient for the Walt Disney World ExperiencePosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The character restaurant & Disney gift shop in the hotel plus being close to all things Disney was great! Also enjoyed the daily water & Starbucks!
Cons: Better soundproofing would be difficult to do but beneficial to guests! More cleaning staff or door hangers to request a cleaning
Location: Nice and close to Disney Boardwalk, Downtown Disney, Fantasia golf and short bus to Disney World. Good location overall.
The hotel is nice. There is nothing extra special about it but it suited our 7 day stay for the most part. I stayed with my 5 yr. old son and 2 other family members who had their own room. I originally was booked on the 4th floor and stayed 2 nights in this room, on the 3rd night some young people checked in the room beside me, which had a joining door between our rooms. The people kept trying to open the doors which scared my son and myself. They were also very rowdy & loud. I called the front desk, they sent up security to talk with the neighbors. After that, they congregated outside my door with friends who were from a different room/floor. They carried on like a bunch of hooligans and made me scared to leave my room for our dinner reservations! I asked to be moved which I was told was not possible til the next day. I didn't get a call or message from the front desk until I finally had to call them in the afternoon to see if they had forgotten. I was moved to the 6th floor around 4pm. The air conditioning wasn't working properly in our room on the 4th floor but I was pleased that the new room on the 6th floor was nice and cold. I was also a little disappointed that the room service was only done twice for my stay. I had to go get my coffee & water from the cleaning staff every day. I think they just didn't have enough time to clean all the rooms because once the cleaning staff came to clean the room at around 3:45 but I was just about ready to lay down.

Great location. I have stayed here and the sister Dolphin property many times at Disney and have been happy every time.
