Nice hotel, convenient, cleanPosted Jul 2, 2015
I have stayed at multiple Disney World hotels and would definitely stay here again. Rooms were nice (recently renovated) and the staff was friendly. It was very convenient since Disney buses come to the hotel (there are also boats to Epcot from the hotel). My kids enjoyed also having the Dolphin next door so there was a larger variety of restaurants.

Newly renovated rooms!!! It's lipstick on a pig!!Posted Jun 28, 2015
Cons: better quality products should have been used in rooms when renovation was done. quality just not there
Location: very nice pools and can walk to Epcot , Boardwalk and Hollywood Studios
Nice location , well manicured grounds, hotel staff very nice. The room left a lot to be desired. when checked in the a/c unit was making noise, a sleepless night. Came to repair next day and worked for three days when noticed the room was very warm. adjusted thermostat, worked for the day and again too warm again just gave up. The toilet, try to flush something never happens until it wants to. In the edge of the bath mirrors the tiles were not finished looked awful. the rain-shower heads only somewhat trickled water most holes were blocked.

Well maintained older hotel.Posted Jun 28, 2015
Enjoyed my stay at the Swan. Wish it offered a Continental breakfast but everything else was terrific.

Room too NoisyPosted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: The beds and pillows were comfortable and the pool was nice.
Cons: I think it is ridiculous to charge a parking fee plus a resort fee. Do one or the other. It is not like it is NYC where parking is at a premium.
Location: Near Disney World and the Boardwalk hotel area. Not really much to do there at the boardwalk. You would have more to do in Downtown Disney area.
The room was very nice except that at night we could hear a noise, which we think was from the roof air condition units. We looked at on the roofs of the facilities on the west side of hotel on the 4th floor. It was almost like a bass drum which kept us awake for quite awhile. Due to the cost of the hotel plus the resort fees and parking fees I do not think the total cost for two nights was worth it. Over all , for two nights stay, it was overpriced. The extra cost of the resort and parking fees along with the taxes was $90.10. Think you would be better off staying elsewhere. The only real advantage was the bus service, but many places, including those outside the park offer that.

Excellent choicePosted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: Location & Luxurious accommodations.
The hotel location is perfect when travelling with kids. The pool, playground and restaurants make it a great place to relax between your park visits. Highly recommended.

Still the Best/Classic Hotel for "doing Disney"Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Everything is just one step up from the Dolphin . A smaller, more quaint Hotel. Another plus are the larger beds (2 Queens) than the Dolphin (2 full
Location: Still the best place to stay when you are going to "Do Disney World".
I always enjoy staying at the Swan. I recently discovered the pool at the Dolphin Hotel which is actually attached to the grounds of the Swan. Highly recommend this "Dolphin" pool instead of the Swan's.

always looked forward to staying therePosted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Check in went well
Cons: see above
Location: nice location for Disney
When my daughter and I booked this hotel it was a big deal to us to stay on the grounds of Disney and to get this wonderful rate through Expedia. What I didn't realize is when Expedia says "no hidden costs" they mean from them and not necessarily the 23.00 a night resort fee and of course 18.00 a night self parking fee that the hotel charges . The cleaning staff although quite pleasant pounded on our door at 9am and 3pm both days we were there even though we had a "do not disturb" sign and a " go green,no housecleaning today" sign. They were very nice but didn't get it. The best was when we went to order room service at 10:30 pm and were put on forever hold...at 11pm I attempted to call front desk, same thing continuous hold. Now everything is closed and I'm walking in dark to back of parking lot to get car to drive around orlando looking for dinner. One hotel employee was at front desk with a line of angry guests. So disappointing and not what I would expect. My daughter and I enjoyed balcony for 5 minutes before someone started smoking on balcony around us. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. When I asked staff if there was any meeting room or storage closet that my daughter could practice her musical instrument for 1/2 hour they told me I would have to rent a meeting room for that. nice..

Great last minute get-away.Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Beautiful grounds. It was connected to other Disney Deluxe hotels and short, walking distance of two theme parks.
Cons: I found great Expedia rates for the resort, but the rates increased significantly when they added in resort fees and parking.
Location: Disney's Boardwalk, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot were in walking distance. We could view fireworks from hotel grounds.
We booked this resort at the last minute through Expedia. Great rate. We have stayed in just about all of the Disney hotels throughout resort and this was one of our favorites. Great location and amenities. All of the Disney experience without the hassle. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. We hope to stay again in the future.
