Pricey and Gets Pricier

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Breakfast at their restaurant was very good.
Cons: The bathrooms look outdated and there is a stale odor when you enter the room which could also be attributed to the oldness.
Location: A convenient and short walk to the Boardwalk and a little more to Epcot.
I reserved at the Swan because the Disney owned hotels were being taken quickly. If you're planning a Disney Park vacation which you're already spending a hefty sum, go to a Disney owned hotel which have Dining Plans that can save you a chunk of money. The Swan Hotel is owned by Westin and is not part of the Dining Plan offer. It seems more geared for business conferences. There is an additional charge for wi-fi, fitness center, bottled water and parking. It gets to be too costly.

Great hotel with boat access to Epcot.

Perfect on site hotel with boat access to Epcot World Showcase. Stay here and receive early access to Disney World Parks. Perfect if you plan to do the International Food and Wine Exposition. Very comfortable hotel with 4 star amenities. Highly recommend, especially at the Expedia discounted rates.

Pros: I liked the close proximity to Disney property and main attractions. I enjoyed the pools and the restaurants.
Cons: The staff at Il Mulino were unpleasant, especially the hostess.
Location: Disney, Pools, Fitness Center, Game Room, Disney Boardwalk,
After a grueling, long experience at the airport, it was nice to arrive at the Swan. We were greeted with a warm smile and pleasant service. Our hotel room was comfortable and clean. The pools were clean and there was always some fun activity for the children. The hotel restaurant staff; with the exception of the staff at Il Mulino, was courteous, friendly and pleasant. Overall, the Swan was a great choice for our family vacation. I will definitely stay again.

Nice hotel right around the corner from Epcot!

Posted Oct 14, 2014
The hotel staff was nice and friendly. Both checking-in and checking-out was easy and quick. The room had everything I needed including a flatscreen TV and Wi-Fi internet, although it could be renovated; The main lobby area & 1st floor gives the impression that the room would match its elegance but that simply is not the case. It was great to have Epcot & Disney's Boardwalk within walking distance. There was also a free water taxi service to Epcot available.

Beautiful hotel at Disney

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: I loved the beautiful lobby and outdoor seating areas, the restaurant options and location.
Cons: The tub in my bathroom looked as if it had been through some "wear and tear." It probably needs to be refinished. I made management aware of this.
Location: Very close to Epcot, Boardwalk, and Disney Hollywood Studios. Miniature golf is also nearby.
The Swan is a great hotel option with nice amenities in the Disney World Park area. It's a beautiful property (along with the nearby Dolphin). I liked that is has several transportation options such as a ferry to Epcot and Disney Hollywood Studios as well as access to Disney Buses. It is also near the Disney Boardwalk which even has a dance club! I had delicious dinners at Todd English's Blue Zoo and Il Mulino. The Java Bar is convenient for quick breakfasts and the Cabana Bar has a beautiful sitting area by the pool. My guest room was clean with nice white bedding, double sink/vanities and had free wifi. My Mom had king bed room which included a balcony and living room area, also very nice. I would definitely stay here again!

The lobby and common areas of the hotel are very nice, however the room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. 3 star hotel at best; not 4.

Great Hotel! Service is the best!

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: Everything! Our breakfasts in the dining room with waiters such as Dawn, made the start of our day relaxing.
Cons: Nothing
Location: The location is fine with easy access to the theme parks
From the minute we walked through the door we felt at home. The front desk staff were great and our room was spotless and welcoming, Having a balcony so we could have a glass of wine and watch the fireworks was a treat. Also just being able to walk or take the relaxing ferry ride to Epcot was handy as was having dinner at a restaurant along the boardwalk made our stay even better.
