Great property! The layout is nice when traveling with family. Only downside to the stay was they really push the timeshare! They have multiple people calling or putting notes on your door. They want 60-90 minutes but it’s really takes almost 3 hours for it! They get really annoyed when you say no to it

I was a little disappointed this time when visiting. Ive visited before and evwrything was perfect but i had a few issues this time. The first issue was yellow stains on the pillow cases and comforter, we tried to call.the front desk but remained on hold for a while so we just took the pillow cases off and covered the comforter The second issue was a very inconvenient miscommunication error on the hotels part. I was imformed that in order to have food delivered to the resort, i jad to pick it up from the lobby. The lobby is quite a distance away from where we were staying and there was little to no parking. I left to go get my food only to find out that aftwr standing in the lobby for 20 mins the delivery driver was at my hotel door, which was odd because the worker i spoke to said that security would not allow them to do that. I then returned back to my hotel room but had to drive around for 20 minutes because someone had taken my parking spot and there were no available parking spots left. I spoke to the manager about the inconvenience and she said there was nothing she could do about anything that happened. Also our neighbors next door to us were extremely loud but yet again we could not say or do anything about it because every time we call the front desk we were placed on a hold for a while. While im pretty sure ill be back seeing as this resort is amongst my favorites, i definitely did not have the same experience i had before

Great place, but expensive.. stores on grounds are very convenient but very expensive.. but it’s nice to have what you need. Some things advertised they did not have.. fishing rentals advertised but not available.. everything is good. It’s a great stay. 2nd time I’ve come .

Parking would be my only really “complaint” we were at the resort on a weekend so it was pretty busy. In the evening it was very hard to find any parking outside the villas. We had to go all the way to the main building with a parking garage. We then had to walk all the way to our villa. There are people on golf carts but never once did anyone offer to give us a ride. Having to walk that far pregnant did suck. Also I didn’t notice that the water park cost an additional 20$ per person each day if you wanted to use it. However the pools are free. Also they advertise fishing, which is one of the main reasons I booked this place… I went to rent a pole and the girl was confused that they ever offered fishing. The second girl I asked said the rentals are $5 but that all their poles were broken…. The paddle boats are 20$ for 30 minutes. Overall it was a decent place to stay. I’m not to sure that I would ever book it again though.

I brought my teenage kids to this resort. We had a two bedroom villa, it was very roomy but things were very outdated. I used the dishwasher, it leaked all over the kitchen floor. I called (after I cleaned it up) to let them know, she said “thanks”. No offer to clean the mess or have it checked. There are a ton of 6 seat golf cart looking vehicles around, we were told they would transport us around the property because it’s such a large area. We called to use this service a few times and no one showed up, I have issues walking in the heat but was forced to walk. I was told when I booked my room, water park tickets were included, they didn’t honor that so I had to pay $100 for passes for 5 of us, we went to use the park, had a drink in the bar, left, came back and it was closed. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer but they were VERY outdated, the dryer just tossed all the lint over our clothing. There’s no maid service unless you call. We couldn’t find anything that told us what time the restaurants closed or a number for room service. The little cafe was closed by 3pm each day. The food and market place were VERY expensive even for a resort, go to Walmart! Overall it was ok but definitely lots of room for improvement!

Parking somehow got “overbooked.” Drove around for 30 minutes trying to park. No wifi connection in the actual hotel rooms Room itself was nice, staff was very nice The parking situation just seemed extremely unorganized. Never not been able to park somewhere I payed to stay the night.

I had a wonderful time at Westgate Lake resort and spa, everybody was extremely nice… From the beginning and down to the end of my trip. Check was at 10 AM. I called three hours before and asked if it’s OK that I hang around the property and they accommodated even sent transportation for me to get around to my flight at 7 PM. I will definitely be coming back here. I had a wonderful experience. Keep up the good work here.

Everyone very friendly , shuttle rides around resort available always , cute shopping village, enjoyed pools & hot tubs. Comfortable beds! Pools & hot tubs open to 11pm. Great food from restaurants on site with room service available. Big screened in patio with all rooms. Overall very happy. Dislikes- tub & shower were visibly not cleaned when checked in. Should have the pool with bar as adults only or closing time earlier for children . There are 7 pools and it’s hard to find a spot without kids yelling and splashing even in hot tubs until 10pm.

We loved the resort. The only thing is they could have at least one or two bottles of water in the fridge for guest arrival. We arrived late around mid-night while all stores around closed at 10pm. Or more vending machine accessible for late arrivals. Other than that we loved it.

Westgate Lakes is a beautiful resort in a very convenient location. The resort is very well run, and offers an abundance of entertainment for the whole family. It also has many areas should you wish to spend time away from the hustle and bustle. The island is especially beautiful and peaceful. We highly recommend Westgate Lakes for your stay and we will return for our next Orlando visit.

I was disappointed that there was a separate fee for the water park on top of the resort fee. Also phone didn’t work in my room. Bed was comfy and had a great view. I was close to two different pools areas. I ate in Drafts it was delicious!

We didn't get a chance to explore the resort due to having all day obligations already but the resort had tons to do and was conveniently located near the convention center and halfway between both Universal and Disney. Large, comfy rooms at a great price. Would stay again.

So many fun activities to do here right at the resort. The water park was tons of fun! The arcade was fun! Loved the little marketplace. One thing that was a little frustrating was the coffee shop closes at 3:30pm. After then if you want a coffee, you have to head off property or make in your room.
