“Great place to stay if u can avoid the marketing team!”
Watch out for the marketing dept. they have a tricky ways of trying to make it into your vacation time. Maintaince check not really a maintaince check! Everything else was great. Would stay here again.
“"Not too bad"”
Everything was great except we stayed 3 nights and 4 days and the room was not cleaned. When I asked at the desk she said because it was only 3 nights. The hotel could have explained that there would be no cleaning services since the stay was so short.
“On a Budget?”
If your on a budget? than this motel will work for you, no extras, no one going out of their way for excellent service, but than we did not agree to a tour of the time shares, wonder if that could have left them a bit bitter? Anyway room was clean, pretty quiet for the most part, the garden out back with the foutain was excellent very pretty, alot of un behaved kids around the pool area, the pool closed way to early in the evening, front desk personnel not that freindly at all...but the location made up for the negitives. Room clean, bathroom way to small!! Would I stay there agian? if on a budget yes, but not if have more funds... Bill
“Finally, a place that is really nonsmoking!”
Enjoyed the screened in patio and that our ground floor room was not too far from a mini playground that my 6 year-old son enjoyed. I was very happy with the fact that the room description was nonsmoking only and no pets and it really was nonsmoking and no pets, as those scents can wreak havoc on my comfort level. The jet tub was most welcome after a long day at Disney. Checkout time of 10:00 am was a bit early, but still doable. Note: I would recommend to all travelers to ensure that hot/cold knobs are confirmed before using/getting in water; no incident occurred but the knobs were marked incorrectly, which I alerted to management who took care of it.
“Not Impressed”
They do not clean your room daily. Try to con you into a timeshare 'breakfast'. Would not return and would not recommend.
“Comfortable and clean suite hotel near all of the attractions.”
The staff was very welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. The management is obviously running a tight ship at this hotel. We had a two-room suite that was very clean and included a large jacuzzi bath in each room! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware and appliances, to include a washer and dryer in an adjoining alcove. Would definitely stay there again.
“westgate towers”
...nice place, i`d stay there again...
“pleasantly surprised”
Westgate Towers was great! The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchenette and frig were perfect for coffee, toast or cereal in the morning, or even for take out meals for diiner. I loved the balcony, whcih I think looked out over the fireworks but we were in bed by then. I would have asked for a room looking out over the landscaped westgate villas next time instead of the orlando metropolous. We did not bring a car, so the fact that there was a market and restaurants next door was great, and that was close to disney- with shuttles to the parks. If we missed the shuttle, it was twenty dollars for a cab. We got a fantastic rate and would stay there again! thank you Westgate! ps. no pressure to purchase a condo- everyone was perfectly gracious and accomodating!
“Impressed enough to purchase a time share.”
I enjoyed the Westgate Towers. It was not over bearing like the other Westgate (spa and resort) We were not hounded when we checked in to buy a time share. Our escort was very friendly and attentive. The room was wonderful, spacious and clean. It was in a great area that was not over crowded. Since it was cold we were not able to enjoy the pool and the out door jacuzzi. It was heated though. I do recommend staying there. My family and I will be staying at this Westgate in the future.
“Great Value!!!!”
Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Check in was easy. You get an escort to your room to make sure everything is ok. Security is very good. You need your key to access the building where the hotel rooms are. We opted to get the larger one bedroom as opposed to the studio as the one bedroom had a king and the studios had 2 doubles. It was just myself and my husband. Room was awesome. It actually was an apartment!. The furnishing were a little dated but the appliances and flooring, countertops etc were updated. Very clean and well kept. Everything you need is there. It was an off time and a unseasonably cool weekend so it was pretty empty and too cold for the pool, not heated. But the outdoor jacuzzi was awesome! Also the room had a jacuzzi tub which we did not use. It was in the bedroom as is one of the showers and sinks and seperate room for the loo. And there was another full bath off the kitchen. Very close to Old Town, lots of restaurants and looked like it was close to Disney although we were not there to go to Disney. We were there for Old Town. ONLY negative is the walls and floors are thin. You could pretty much hear other guests, thank goodness it was not a crowded time. You could defintely hear the ones above us and not sure where anyone else was located, next to us or not. It was not bad we were in the room a lot during the day and no one was there and then at night you could hear talking and noises etc for a while but not that bad. Can't beat the price.
