Convenient hotel

Posted Nov 24, 2014
This hotel is very close to Nickelodeon resoet. Location wise it is good. The grounds are well maintained but with a strange smell resembling sewage. The rooms are not fancy, we found a dirty children's sock under the bed, which was less impressive considering the fact they charged $40 cleaning fee!

Pros: lots of space for family, pool, VERY quiet and noise-insulated.
Cons: More frequent shuttles, honest information about taxis! kinda mad no one at front desk told me about that.
Location: nothing in walking distance in terms of food, alcohol.
The bathrooms and floors need a good cleaning. The resort also charges $40 per room cleaning, and $6 for each new set of towels...that can add up. Also, if you need a taxi, make sure you specify that you want the front desk to call a Mears taxi (or yellow cab)...otherwise, you will be slapped with a $17 magic kingdom fee, regardless of whether you are entering or leaving the magic kingdom. Only use Mears taxis!! If you dont specify that with the front desk, they will call their the cabs they contract with and you'll be charged that $17 fee. Also, the scheduled shuttles are a pain if you have kids and want to get back to the resort in the middle of the day...there is no way to do that without calling a cab. In all, I would stay in a disney resort if you have kids and want to avoid the cab fees that are inevitable if you dont want to be in a park from opening to closing. Also, when you do get home late at night, there is no on-site restaurant so keep that in mind.

Thank you traveler for staying with us. I have checked with our cab company and they do not charge to get you into the park. will investigate further. WorldQuest is a self catering condo. We do have the cleaning fee for 3 nights or less on the website so guests are aware before arriving. There are restaurants that deliver to the hotel that our front desk would gladly give the number for those late night snacks or meals. I do hope you return in the future and give us another chance. Ok but outdated

Posted Nov 10, 2014
The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is outdated, toilet seat broken, furnace filter probably hasn't been replaced for years, full of dust. Breakfast item is really limited, in the middle of nowhere, pretty isolated, no restaurant or place to go if you don't have a car, quite inconvenient. The positive side is the room size is big, has the full kitchen. Parking is free, pool is not bad.

Thank you James for staying with us. I will share your comments with our staff. We do change the filters every 3 months in our rooms. Our breakfast is a grab and go, so guests have more time at the parks. We are located 2 miles to Disney and 1 mile to I-4 to get to other parks. W miles to a wal mart and publix. Yes, you are right, you do need a car. We are the hidden gem of Orlando. I do hope that you return in the future to stay in our family size suites up to 1,400 sq ft.
