Worldquest

Rooms were disgusting. Pool wasn't heated. Maids didn't clean. Cancelled maid service and still had to call the front desk to ask for towels everyday. In the end they didn't charge me for the maid fee. Still wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great value in Orlando

Wonderful, roomy condo complete with screen porch and amenities of home. Great price especially compared to hotel rooms and you get so much more. Only negative-no restaurant/bar on site.

Promises more that can deliver

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Not sure!
Cons: Their customer appreciation.
I booked this hotel to attend the annual meeting in a close-by convention center. Wanted to get away from the convention center buzz and the expensive convention center hotel, and perhaps spend a day or two in a theme park. Internet connection was substandard, therefore, I ended up working during the day in my colleague's room in the convention center hotel anyways, just returning to this hotel for a sleep over. Hotel staff apologized for internet problems but they were not doing anything about it. Waiting for internet connection to get fixed eaten away the time I intended to spend in a theme park. On the day of my departure I got an unsolicited automatic wake-up call at 6am describing how much they appreciate me as their guest. The cleaning stuff was knocking on the door already before 10am ....even though the check out time is 11am. It makes you really feel welcome. Very basic breakfast OK, but there was never any room to sit down. So I ended up eating the thing on my way to the convention center. Booking a room at the WorldQuest Orlando Resort was a bad decision.

Excellent staycation

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Room was clean, staff was friendly, hot tub was so relaxing after a long day at work, and I would stay again.
Cons: The beds can be softer but this is all individual preference. I also would include upgraded bedding and more towels.
Location: Awesome location next to the Gaylord convention center and minutes from celebration and Disney.
I live in the area but wanted to stay somewhere that I felt was a nice place for my birthday. It was so nice and rooms were great. I would stay again. It had a great price for everything included.

Nice hotel, but VERY secluded.

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Staff was great, pool and amenities were great, free continental breakfast, (small) workout room available
Cons: Furniture placement in certain hotels (see TV comment above)
Location: Absolutely terrible location. The wildlife conservation makes for a good view, but gives off a certain smell. Also, nothing to do in walking distance
Overall, the hotel itself is great. The room I stayed in was very clean. There are a few confusing things about it though, such as the TVs. I had a three bedroom, 3 bathroom suite, and you would think that the master bedroom would have the best of everything. While the bathroom was the largest, along with the bed, the TV was an old tube TV, while the secondary bedroom had the largest TV in the whole suite. The master bedroom TV was also the smallest, with the living room being a close 2nd. You would think that either of these would have the largest, but I guess not in Worldquest's eyes. The balcony was extremely nice, however, with its netting enclosing it intact. If you don't like walking, be sure to book a room in buildings 1 or 2. I was placed in building 6, which I believe is the furthest away from the only pool/hot tub and clubhouse. This is a decent distance away (5-10min walk) so management suggests having a car. Finally, the hotel is VERY secluded. The closest thing to it is the Nickelodeon hotel, which is separated by a (6?) lane road with speeding cars flying by. There is also no sidewalk across this road, so you're either walking on grass or taking a taxi if you don't have a car yourself. That being said, the shuttles are there for the major theme parks around, but only Disney is free. There is a small fee for a roundtrip to Seaworld or Universal, but you have to be there at their highly limited pickup times to use them. Overall, great experience if you have a car

Very positive experience

Posted Jan 21, 2015
We stayed in this facility between Jan 10th to Jan 17th. I had go e through the reviews when I selection this place. And also later reviews to get better picture of where we were going. I got a good deal and I'm glad our experience turn out to be much better than expected. Staff at check in were very helpful and accommodative. We asked for a quiet place so they changed our unit to a quite area. Our unit was a very spacious 3 bedroom unit with everything we needed during our stay. Kitchen was equipped enough for a short stay, we were a le to cook easily and were not in lack of anything. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and TV. We had in unit washer and dryer and dish washer. My family loved the place. It was close to restaurants, grocery stores and outlet malls. We will definitely go back there in our next vacation.

Good location for disney attractions

Posted Jan 17, 2015
Pros: location size
Cons: Warmer blankets for beds.
Location: We just went to disney parks and Universal.
Only 12 minutes from disney. Good shuttle times and always on time. Big comfortable rooms as we rented a 3 bedroom suite.

Great staff, but disappointed with room

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Pros: Location to Disney and other area attractions...great staff...fully equipped kitchen...we were satisfied with the breakfast items provided.
Cons: Overall cleanliness!!!
Location: Minutes from all Disney attractions...great location!
Upon arrival, I was greeted by a nice young man at the reception and he promptly checked me in. When we got to the room, the first thing I noticed was a damp, musty smell in the master bedroom. I called the front desk and the same young man that checked me in, offered to have us switch rooms (in another building) and/or have the housekeeping come check the room in the morning. I decided not to move the kids to another room for the night and deal with the issue in the morning because it was after 11pm at this point. In the morning, I realized the smell was coming from the carpet at the entry way to the washroom. There was an accessible shower beside the door and it was obvious that water had leaked into the room leaving the carpet moldy and stinky. I bought carpet deodorizer and after putting that on the carpet, the smell was gone. The overall cleanliness of the room was not great either. I know the baseboards and walls can't be scrubbed in between each guest, but they could definitely use it. I was wiping dirt off the doors and light swtich plates...I bought some disinfectant wipes and gave things a more thorough cleaning on my own. The king bed was comfortable, but they really should invest in better, firmer pillows and mattresses in the twin bed room...they were far too soft! Luckily kids were sleeping on them and not adults! The experience was not horrible, but it certainly would have been much better if the cleanliness of the room was improved

Nice hotel with all the comforts of a condo

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Centrally located to both Disney World and Universal Studios. Great for families in need of a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Really enjoyed the large balcony that was completly screened from floor to ceilings and full patio set. Really enjoyed the comforts inside with complete living room amd dining set with a flat screen tv in living space and both rooms. The only negative was the ants all around the kitchen countertops.
