Nice resort close to the Disney Parks

Posted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: The two bedroom suite in the timeshare towers, the lazy river pool, the outdoor pools, hot tubs, & pool bars/restaurants. Very clean facilities.
Cons: More on site restaurants.
Location: Disney World parks
Enjoyed our stay at the resort. Facilities very well maintained and clean. Loved the pool areas as well. Close to all the Disney World parks.

Beautiful, close to all Disney parks

Posted Jan 15, 2015
Beautiful grounds, very clean condo with lots of room. Within 5-10 minutes drive of all Disney parks and Downtown Disney. King bed was VERY comfortable, but the sofa sleeper was hard as a rock and uncomfortable. My 5 year old slept there, so no issue there! But if I had to sleep there, I would insist on some kind of cushioning or bed topper. It is a timeshare resort, but I very clearly stated I wasn't interested, so they didn't push our going to their "welcome" breakfast and left us alone from that point forward. Parking was free. We ate at all the disney parks, so I can't comment on the onsite restaurants, but there were 3 of them. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the porters at the front door. There was a charge to my bank account of $6.92 that I never was able to figure out what it was. That being said, if we ever go back to that area, I would definitely stay there again!

Terrible Hotel - Do Not Stay Here.

Posted Jan 13, 2015
This was my first experience with Wyndham and it was the absolute worst hotel experience that i have ever encountered. I am a seasoned traveller and stay in hotels at least 2 stays per month. After taking over 30 minutes to check in, the room assigned was not cleaned and smelt terrible. It took over an hour to receive a new room and that room also smelled bad and had dead salamanders in it. At least the sheets were clean. We had to request pack and play and highchair twice and it took over an hour to receive it. My wife moved to the pullout couch in the night and requested sheets for it, which took 45 minutes to receive. Overall the property was decent and had nice amenitites, but the rooms and staff were terrible. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. It seems the property has too many rooms for the staff to manage appropriately. I was very disappointed in Wyndham.

Great resort, shortage of comfortable lounge chair

Posted Dec 31, 2014
Cons: Suite cleanliness could be improved
We stayed 14 days, have enjoyed this resort in the past. We had a pool side 3 bedroom delux suite. Disappointed with condition and cleanliness of suite. The suite met all requirements and staff is always help full and pleasant. Hot tubs are now closed at 10:30 pm we have in past yrs enjoyed these until 1 am. Although the Mickey Mouse vacationer may not mind this we were there to relax and enjoy the resort with the teens and found this a great disappointment. Nice if there had been at least one hot tub and pool available for late night enjoyment.

There to visit Disney World and Universal studios

Posted Dec 27, 2014
Pros: Everything in one location, spacious rooms
Cons: more thorough maintenance when cleaning a unit. Maid service daily to freshen things up
Location: Bonnet Creek ,Orlando. Everything
Great experience, timeshare sales pitch a bit too aggressive. 3 bdrm 2 bath unit we stayed in had two smoke detectors chirping due to low batteries. Maintenance had to come out twice, once at 2:00 am very annoying when it could have been fixed right the first night.

Right at Disney World

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Three things I liked the most----Location, Location, Location
Cons: More buses to the Disney parks.
Location: Like I said great location near Typhoon Lagoon and Downtown Disney.
We have been to most of Disney Worlds hotels over the years. Bonnet Creek has most of them beat. With their own water park and two lazy rivers at this hotel the kids love it. Parking can be a problem at peak times. They do have bus tranportation to all the parks, but we do use our car most of the time just because it can be faster. Depending on where you are staying at Bonnet Creek you can see the fire works at Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. Our suite had everything we needed. A full kitchen and washer and dryer. Bonnet Creek is right between Disney's Caribbean Beach and Typhoon Lagoon you can't beat the location.
