Nice hotel with beautiful pool area and bar

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Close to epcot, pool, room size.
Cons: The room view, check bed cleanliness, eliminate resort fee or include in cost up front.
Location: Disney, downtown Disney.
Mostly good. Only disappointment was a yellow stain on the sheets where my head would lay. I had to pull the top sheet over it to sleep. Also, the $18/day resort fee isn't fair. I didn't use internet or the shuttle during our two night stay so why pay that?

Disney Trip

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Perfect location.....
If it wasnt for a great stay at the hotel our trip wouldve been a bust. Epcot had a food/wine festival... Sounded fun. It was a bunch of rude drunks..... After 2 hours we left and went to the magic kingdom. The very first ride we went to was broke down. The 2nd had an hour & half wait which turn into almost two. The people were rude, cutting in line, no one spoke english.. I was born an raised in south florida and realize we are going through some terrible changes but it has destroyed Disney..... Im only 47 but can tell you this, I will never go back to Disney. It was a sad weekend. Thank goodness our hotel was super.

Elegant hotel with top amenities near parks

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Cons: In one of the rooms, it took several minutes to get warm water in the shower in the early hours of the morning.
Stayed for a conference and was not disappointed in any way. Clean, quiet and comfortable accomodations; friendly efficient service and many amenities to cater to my every need from exercise to dining.

Nice hotel close to everything

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: The staff and decor.
Cons: Remove the $18.00 fees or have more shuttle service to malls and Disney parks.
Location: Disney parks and shopping.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel in October , 2014 for four night. The staff were very nice, rooms were clean and comfortable. The only disadvantage were the $18.00 daily fees for nothing other than taking the shuttle to the parks which had fixed schedule. We used taxi to go everywhere since the hotel is located off the highway. Shopping malls were 10 to 20 minutes drive and cost $20 to $45 each way which was expensive. I would recommend renting a car however, there is a parking fee .

Great for families

Very nice, modern hotel! We booked one of the rooms with bunk beds for our family of 5. It was a great setup and the hotel is convenient to Disney parks and Downtown Disney. We will definitely be back.

Exceptional hotel in a fantastic location.

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Location, Facilities and overall friendliness of staff and other guests.
Cons: Nothing, this really is a fantastic family hotel.
Location: Incredibly located for all things Disney. Easy access to the I4 for travel to all other parks, Outlet Shopping and Amenities.
If you are looking for a high standard hotel within 10 minutes of Disney but away from the daily bustle & substantial queues of Disney then this is the hotel for you. We have travelled throughout the UK & Europe and are fortunate to have stayed in some great hotels and this ranks up there with the very best of them. Family friendly facilities, include access to several pools, fitness suite, spa & electronic games room for the kids when that Floridian afternoon shower strikes. The main hotel pool has various depths and is very accessible to the kids and kept at a decent temperature. The pool area has free towel sign out, 2 x large hot tubs, cabanas and a great poolside cafe/bar which is accessible until midnight. It really is a great area to relax after the long park days and did I mention those queues. Due to the proximity of the hotel to the Disney parks fireworks from Hollywood studios, Epcot & Magic Kingdom are visible from the hotel grounds. We asked for and we're lucky to be allocated a room on the 12th floor with a balcony which actually allowed us to view these fireworks from our room. The rooms are of a very high standard, very clean and very well serviced. I have recommended this hotel to friends particularly those with small children but would not hesitate in recommending to those young at heart couples without children. This hotel made our holiday a fantastic first hotel experience after 2 previous villa holidays in Florida, we will be back. Well done Wyndham.

On Disney grounds

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Enjoyed very much. The only disappointment were the shuttles to and from the Disney World. After Noon, they ran very little which was an inconvenience for those of us who like a lazy morning and a later night.
