Hotel very close to all of the theme parks.Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: Actually liked everything about this hotel, couldn't find anything wrong.
Cons: Off hand, I can't think of anything that needs to be improved!
Location: Close to everything that we were interested in doing or seeing.
Pleasing experience as the staff and housekeeping staff were all pleasant! In any future stays I would want to stay at this establishment.

Great hotel and locationPosted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: 2 pools and a jacuzzi that is open 24 hours a day. My bed was super comfortable
Location: Awesome location. I have now been to this hotel 5 times. Food, bars, universal and the Convetion Center is close.....
I haven't been to this hotel for over 5 years. When my taxi pulled up I asked what hotel is this? Well it was my hotel. They have done a complete remodel of the facility and it looks great. They took out some hotel towers and now in that area is a BJ' s brewery, Chuys Mexican, Red Robin, Longhorn Steak house, Starbucks, Walgreens and more. So it made anything you wanted right there. The Gator bar at the hotel was nice. The first night the bar tender made some great drinks. Being $9.00 each. The next few nights had a girl bar tending and my drinks were so weak I couldn't justify the $9.00 price. I had other people say the same. But overall great place to come to that is in the heart of everything.

RESORT FEES!Posted Oct 16, 2014
Was told I would have to pay a resort fee of $17.95 when I arrived. Expedia mobile app never mentioned a resort fee. Front counter clerk was less than enthusiastic when I checked in. Admittedly I was not too happy of being charged an additional $20 to stay at the Wyndham and the clerk acted like I definitely wasn't the first person to have the problem. Room was fairly clean, aside from the giant clump of hair that was hanging from the fresh towels underneath the sink. Water pressure in the shower constantly varied. Bed was comfortable and room seemed to have been updated recently. I stayed for business purposes but those traveling to see the Mouse probably would like this hotels central location to parks and restaurants. Balcony on the room was nice for relaxing and reading. Front desk clerk at checkout was more interested in the computer screen than me informing her that they should contact expedia to inform them of their resort fee as opposed to having unhappy guest as I was.

Good base for a Disney visitPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Central location. Walk to many well known restaurants, Denny's, Perkins, Tony Roma's, Starbucks, long Hirn, etc, etc
Cons: No mirror at dressing table to blowdry hair or get ready for evening out.
Location: Walk to bars & restaurants
Older hotel that has undergone a remodel recently. We were allocated a motel style room but recommend requesting traditional hotel room with either balcony or small terrace. Nice grounds in this low-rise resort hotel. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, convenience stores and bus stops.

Busy HotelPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: It was big.
Cons: the Parking lot
Location: Very busy location right in the heart of International Drive. I am from Brevard COunty so I am not interested in going to all the attractions nearby.
We came in on a Friday night, Fabio checked us in he was very nice and funny. Did not know that there was a $15.95 fee for ammenaties that we were not going to be using so that was a surprise after I had booked on line with Expedia. Our room was in the 11 building ALL the way around the back because there was construction going on the side that would have been convenient to get to that building. My friend had broken her toe that day so we asked for a room on the bottom floor of that building. Had to park away from the building we were only staying one night and could not find the room. Went inside the building only to find that our room was on the other side OUTSIDE. IT was the only room number 1140 outside on the bottom. Came back later that night from the event we went to at the Amway and went back to our building and parking lot was FULL and we could not park ANYWHERE cars were even parked on the grass up on the curb. Had to go back to the front and tell them and was told they were full to capacity but I stated well you do not have enough parking. She let us park in the Valet Parking lot thank goodness. Overall it was ok but too much going on to have an enjoyable experience.
