Don't get left behind!

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: not much!
Cons: Customer service was very poor, facilities were tired and dated.
Location: Close to Orleans, near mini golf and main highway.
We chose to stay one night here prior to renting a house on the Cape for the week. We chose the facility because it had an indoor and outdoor pool, however, we arrived too late to utilize the indoor pool. We found the facilities tired and worn. We were only given one key upon check in as they couldn't find the other one. The front desk clerk suggested that someone had taken it home the previous night but went up to check before we were allowed in to make sure that there wasn't someone "squatting" as he said that can happen sometimes. Needless to say, we slept with the bags against the door in case the extra key and it's holder decided to join us. The room was adequate, you get what you pay for, nothing to write home about. I am thankful it was only one night. We did swim in the morning but had to wait until they treated the pool. So we sat (with three kids) while they threw a bunch of chemicals in. The pool and surround was tired and dated but adequate. We ate the continental breakfast of muffins, bagels and juice. I'm glad that was included in the cost. When we checked out, a bathing suit got left behind in the bathroom. I realized this and called within two hours of checking out but the suit was nowhere to be found. The front desk staff that answered the phone was exceptionally rude and unhelpful and wouldn't check the room personally or allow us to go back and look. Basically, they didn't care and weren't about to go the extra mile to help us out. Very disappointing!

Needed hotel near Eastham for summer weekend

Posted Aug 26, 2013
Location was fine and I wasn't expecting much of a view so being near the rotary was fine. But the room was very stuffy, bed not very comfortable bathroom really outdated and to get to our room, we went thru an awful game room that smelled of mold. Overall the kind of place that one would never recommend or return to.

rail trail access

Posted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: located close to biking trails and not far from the beach
Cons: a curtain for the door
Location: bike riding, beach access, near the state park, near other cape code towns
the hotel is a perfect location if you want to ride a bike on the cape code rail trail. Also, the hotel is not far from the beaches. This is not a fancy place but it is perfectly adequate. The coffee was very good.

Easy getting on & off the highway.

Posted Aug 1, 2013
Pros: It was close to a lot of eating establishments. It had coffee & breakfast snacks in the AM.
Cons: There were no bath towels in the room.
Location: Great attractions for kids and the art community.
We were there for a wedding in Brewster and this motel was conveniently 10 minutes away.

Great location

Posted Aug 22, 2011
Overall I was extremely happy here. The room itself was a bit dated, but the pools were very nice. The location is great especially if you have kids. Walk to a miniature golf course and ice cream/restaurant, bike trail behind the hotel. Great fun.

Clean and comfortable. Great location.

A 60's hotel, with paneling and older bed spreads. The room was clean, 2 beds and 2 sinks. The indoor and outdoor pools were very nice. The indoor pool was great on a rainy day with children. The continential breakfast was a plus. Great location to excellent beaches. Call the hotel for information.
