“Very impressed”
I was attending a conference in the area and honestly didn't want to leave my room! I had a beautiful view of the lake and it was so quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“needs some love and attention...”
There were very few chioces in the lake of the Ozarks area that are dog friendly. With 2 American Bulldogs, that is a must! The staff were all very pleasant and accomodating and with some appropriate updates the hotel could be awesome. There were some Friday night "revelers" that the security staff were good about containing. The restaurant was convenient for breakfast, the buffet just average. All in all it met our needs but I could see spending more than just a night there if the rooms were a little more pleasant.
“Very nice hotel”
Very nice rooms and friendly service. Has a nice pool and volley ball court. A great place to stay with a group.
“Pricey”
Seemed a bit pricey just for a bed for the night. Needs some maintenance - i.e. wallpaper coming loose in bathroom. Not especially clean. Comfortable bed - nice view of lake from 4th floor. Breakfast not included in price.
“Humph - Needs Attention”
Beginning with the perfunctory and absent front desk, this was a disappointing stay. The outside needs repairs and paint. There were approximately 25 empty bottles and cans of beer thrown into the landscapping around the stairs leading down to the pool area (over 60 steps down and up). Cigarettes also flipped in many directions around the grounds. Looks like the aftermath of a party - but the grounds stayed that way for at least the 24 hours we were there.
“not impressed”
paid extra for a lake veiw room, the only thing we could see was great big tree's. said something to the hotel and to EXPEDIA with just a too bad and thank you for using them . Very disapointed in both of them and would not use them agian. paid for a tree veiw in one of the best lakes in Mo.
“Very Disappointed”
I was suprised to find the room so dirty. The tables were sticky! The door frames around the bathroom and main door were filthy, seriously, dirty hand prints on both! The condition of the chairs on the balcony prevented us from sitting outside on a beautiful evening so we went down to the pool/deck. The pool snackbar was closed and it was 7:30 on a Saturday night. So we walked back up to the hotel bar. We were traveling with our kids and were disgusted to find the only non-smoking section was on the balcony, where we sat at a table with a sticky table cloth and waited way too long for a waitress to bother coming out to take our order. Then waited more for her to bring drinks and eventually our food. The next moring we were expecting the free hot and cold breakfast as advertised on Expedia. The only available food that we could find was in the resturant (approximately 9:00 am), so we went in, filled our plates and sat down . The took a drink order for my husband and myself (as if my children were not even at the table). She brought our coffee along with our ticket (much to our suprise!). We didn't have our wallets becasue we were expecting a free meal. The waitress was suddenly very friendly and offered advice on how to charge the meal to our room. The next morning my husband went down to the lobby at 7:00 am, where he found a small assortment of packaged danishes, toast and jelly, coffee and hot water for tea. No milk, cold cereal or fruit.
“The ssecond worst hotel at the lake”
This hotel is in an EXTREME state of neglect and disrepair. The staff was kind and thoughtful, it is a shame that the owners don't care as much as their employees do.
“"No sleep" from Il.”
Room itself was clean. Looked like new carpeting, had a good lakeview, fridg., microwave. However the sliding door was near impossible to lock. The air conditioner was loud and turned off and on all nite keeping us awake. Called staff at 1:30am and we were offered a fan to drown out the a/c turning off and on. Only recommend someone to stay there if you can sleep thru anything. The lobby was being cooled by 2 large fans.
“Not impressed and we were disappointed”
1st floor smelled of Mold and mildew. Hole in bathroom door. Light switch in bathroom missing knob. Bed had a BIG slump in middle.
