Nice view

The staff was extremely courteous and hospitable. The hotel is currently under renovation and I would probably return once they're complete.

Cons: Rooms, lobby etc.
Location: Boating, swimming, parks
They are remodeling but it appears that they should have done this years ago. Way overpriced for what you get.

Worst experience ever!

Upon checking in, the staff proceeded to give us,a dbl bed when we had reserved, and paid for a king....after some words, we were given a room with a kibg in the mist disgusting room I've ever stayed in. Definitely not worth $75 a night and we paId $179. To make it better, we had rented a boat and the morning we were taking it back, I called the front desk to inquire on the free shuttle service, so that we could plan to drive the boat together for a nice morning stroll on the lake, or if we would have to drop the truck before at the rental place before hand. I called and asked about being picked up at Iguana's Boat Rental around 9, I was told no problem just call back when it's closer to the time you want to be picked up. Great right!?!? We go on our 2 hr stroll of a beautiful morning on the lake, return our boat and call.......we are ready to be picked up at Iguana's Boat rentals......they say they don't pick up there, I say I called 2 hours ago and you said no problem!?!? She misunderstood and said she thought I meant the lodge marina.... WHY would I need to be picked up there, it's a VERY short walk to my room! They offered to call a cab for us, AND did I say it was only 4 Miles from them!!! WORST HOTEL AND STAFF EVER!! On the other hand Iguana's offered to take us to our hotel, and said Four Seasons has done that to previous clients if theirs. Stay somewhere else!! :)

Outdated and Rude Staff

After checking and being told we the room we were not being given the room we reserved because the "hotel has the right to change your reservation based on availability" we went to our very outdated, smoke smelling room. The manager was very rude and not at all interested in helping resolve our situation. This only the beginning of our disappointing weekend getaway.

what happened to S&K!!??

S&K service pleasant but very slow. Shrimp cocktail tasted old and was warm. Serving sizes on meal greatly reduced in portion size. Potatoes dry and lackluster. No bread with the meal!?!? Sad. Overpriced for what we received. Table next to us ordered wine. They were shocked to receive less than half a glass. Eaten here before. Sad what it has become. On the other hand, check in was great and staff awesome. Room adequate but carpet very dirty.

Great location on the lake. Beautiful view. The rooms are in need of an update. They are very outdated and worn, but clean.

The noise from people below us and above us was ridiculous. The quality of construction was so poor you could hear every foot step and conversation. The food was expensive and poor quality and taste

nice except for idiot bartenders outside

So there are a bunch of 30 to 50 year old outside drinking. The two bartenders are dancing around and singing to the 12 year old girl music. When asked to change the station said he could not do it because that's what management says. Funny I thought the customer is the one who determines what kind of music gets played.They made it sound like its complicated just take care of the customers.This was on Friday night. those two jamokes should understand who's paying the bill. listen to their little girl music at home on their time.

Hotel Stay

Pros: We liked the option of the restraunts at the hotel, the staff, and the pool.
Cons: I think up on check in you should be aware of what guest you are putting in what room/area of the hotel.
We stayed for one night we opted for lodge of the four season the parts of the hotel we saw were very outdated. They talked about renovations that were in the process however we didn't notice any of these durnig our stay. We actually stayed in two rooms the same night. We were on the 3rd floor and the night we stayed there was a wedding. The unforatunate thing was this was 2 stories above our hotel room and we have a 20 month old that was with us. At 10:00 we called the front desk to find out how long the party was going on for we found out it was going until midnight. Our son had woke up twice since laying him down which is unusual for him. The front desk was very kind and switched our room to the main lobby. This helped keep our son asleep for the night once we got into the room and got settled in. The room we were switched too was also outdated and we went from two queen beds to to full size but atleast we could sleep. The rooms even though they needed updated were atleast clean which is very important to us.
