“Nice Resort”

We stayed at this resort in December and it was a nice, quiet place to stay. The room was very comfortable and clean and the indoor pool/hot tub were great! When we checked in the front desk clerk didn't have a lot of information concerning local activities (we were looking for Christmas light shows) but she was curteous. The room service was good and the food was very good! I'd like to stay here during the summer!

“Great last minute get away!”

Great last minute place to stay. It had an activities director on staff who played the children so parents could relax. As two single girls we felt completely safe staying there. I hope to go back!

“Not fancy, but has all the amenities for a night stay!”

Perfect for an overnight stopover...great for pets...bar and pool area was perfect. Definitey not a resort, but very clean.

“Family friendly”

Nice pool area for adults and kids. Friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. Close to Osage beach and next door to marina.

Area recommendations

For single people, recomend horseshoe bay area. Lazy Gators food,drinks, and pool - very nice , however no kids after 2 :00 . Adult party in the evening.

“Fair”

Location was good. Close to everything and other family members. Rooms not quite what we expected. Not enough towels. Light burned out in one room. Would expect some extra help over holiday weekend.

Area recommendations

Osage and Lake Ozark area. Beautiful area and plenty to keep kids and teens busy. Parents can relax and enjoy themselves.

Outdoors or beach

Try to stay near water. Rent a jet ski and enjoy all the fun for a day on the water. We had 20 grandkids ranging in age from 2 - 22 years old. All of them had no complaints. They were able to swim and fish off Swim dock and we spent one day with a jet ski. Memories they will never forget.

We had 40+ family members that gathered for our parents 50th anniversary celebration. What a wonderful 5 days in such a beautiful area!

“Great value at Lake of the Ozarks”

This was our third stay at Port Arrowhead. Great place if you travel with kids and/or pets. Very kid friendly. The dive-in movie at the pool is a nice touch. Grab a pina colada at the poolside bar, sit back and enjoy. The restaurant is decent too if you don't feel like traveling into town for a feeding. The staff is very nice and helpful.

“We enjoyed our stay”

The food and service at the restaurant was wonderful. The front desk was not very helpful with local information, and the reservation system didn't seem to be working properly. It showed the incorrect rate for our room, and there was a little confusion, but it all worked out. Overall it is a nice place and a convenient location. We would go back again.

“Nice place, worth the money.”

We're not big on hanging around the hotel on vacation, but this place was nice. The pools were cleaned every morning and the service was good as far as food and drink. Friendly staff. Sprawling resort which gave you some room for a morning walk. Room was kind of small for a family of 4, but we did not spend much time in the room. Location seemed to be convienient to everything we were looking to do.

“Somewhat old hotel”

On paper it looks OK. And it is OK, but not great. It is somewhat old. Rooms are small. The computer booking/coupon system is obsolete. The business is in a serious need of fresh blood.

Area recommendations

There are really no hotels there with private beaches. So, just make sure your hotel has an outside pool and after that any hotel will do. You will spend most of your time outside of hotel anyway. Area is nice; but I can't recommend any particular hotel.
