Pros: Great location. Onsen and sauna is nice.
Cons: Wifi is only available in the communal lounge where the room is filled with smokers...terrible for non-smokers.
Location: lots of shopping, eating, bars and Osaka castle is only 3-4 subway stops away.

Convenient for sleeping, nothing else

I was not impressed with this hotel. The capsule itself was fine, but there were three showers for the entire women's wing, the toilets were not clean, and there was nowhere to change without disturbing the other people in the capsules. Also, capsules had no electric sockets for recharging phones etc. Staff at the front desk were not helpful with regard to obtaining a taxi. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Capsule/bath house experience of the 90s

Cheap price, and a true capsule experience. But the place is dated and in need of renovation. We took a non-smoking group room which smelt like smoke anyway.

Not a fan of this hotel

Posted Sep 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
My friends and I stayed in a capsule hotel for one night to get the experience of it. It was really not satisfied with the experience. For a capsule setting, it was reasonably clean etc. but the atmosphere was not the greatest. There was way too much cigarette smoke and while it is in central Osaka, the hotel is also in the middle of the red light district which was not so great.

Greats location n clean place

Posted Sep 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
This place is clean n have a very large shower area. Location is good which is just a 10mins walk to JR station. The things I like most in this hotel is the common rest area has a room full of comics. When I don't feels like going out, I can actually spent whole day in the rest area w/o getting bored .. Greatly recommend to stay here.

Take Shinsaibashi subway stn EXIT SEVEN, turn R up on the street, then right again. Go to second intersection, turn left, go past Police Stn and Lawson store, continue on another block or two, it:s on the right. Safe to walk at night,

Capsule hotel stay

Posted Apr 19, 2013
Cons: Open Shower
Location: Easy to find with map.
Everything was up to expectation for a capsule hotel. Expect for shower, there was no cubicles, it's open shower with all ladies. Good for experience/budget.

Set your expectations accordingly

This is a capsule hotel. The room is sized as such. Also, all capsule hotels follow a set style: A public bath for showering (very common in Japan), a room for lounging, a separate for eating, a locker room to store your things/ change, and of course, your tiny capsule to sleep in. I have stayed at a few capsule hotels in my time and this is a good one. The place is clean and conveniently located in Namba where the social life is. It also offers a capsule hotel service for women which is uncommon for capsule hotels in Japan. It is not the best capsule hotel I have been in but it is a good one.
