Room too crampPosted Aug 2, 2014
Cons: Change the size of the bed it is too small as it is not the normal queen bad size bed. Feel uncomfortable and cramp.
Location: Near to subway and Osaka castle
The room is too small as not as visualize and show in the internet. The bed are too small not even a queen size bad more to a single size bad. Feel very cramp in a room. Not recommended for long stay more suitable for an overnight stay only. Only thing is the location of the hotel are near to the subway and the Osaka castle.

Great locationPosted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: Great location! It's right across the Keihan Mall/Train station and the OMM. So you can do your shopping and dining without going out much.
Location: Keihan Train Station is right across the hotel so just take one of the lines to continue to the main JR lines, which brings you around Osaka.
It's everything you would expect from a japanese hotel, small rooms and decent amenities. However, the room had the largest hotel fridge i have ever had. I've stayed in many 5 star hotels and the size of the fridge does not match the one in the room. Good enough to store fruits, drinks and dishes. It has a separate freezer and it freezes any liquid pretty quickly. The room also comes with free wired high speed internet and a microwave. The room itself was pretty small, but i was barely in the room unless i was sleeping so it did not matter to me. The bed is pretty comfortable, nothing special. The air conditioning system in the room was a bit weird. The temperature seem to be erratic, as the room would be cold, then a bit stuffy a couple hours later; it did not become to uncomfortable, but it was something I noticed during the stay. The vent was also pretty small and was located in the small corridor near the bathroom door. The hotel staff spoke little English, but it was good enough. The lady was very helpful and gave us the best routes to wherever we needed to go. They were kind and weren't hesitant to assist.

Good (especially on a budget!)Posted Jun 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was perfectly fine, especially for the price. The location is fantastic! Walking distance to the Osaka castle. It is also in front of the river, which is nice, and also across from a shopping mall, restaurants, and a Starbucks. The rooms were very small (good enough for 2 non-picky people) but clean, and equiped with air conditioning (window doesnt open) microwave and a fridge! ........Negatives: no bar soap in the bathroom (liquid hand soap only), only English speaking staff in the mornings (and even then, it was difficult), and there is no wifi. To be fair, free wifi in Japan in general is much harder to get than other countries. Even Starbucks made you sign up, which was impossible without internet!? I would recommend buying the Wi2 internet for several days while you're there. It can be used at subway stations and randomly within the city - it really saved us. I would recommend Goggling all tourist information because finding someone to help you in English is VERY hard. ** Overall, I would recommend this hotel! Not bad at all, especially if you're on a budget!

Right Next to Osaka CastlePosted May 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
We booked this place because it was right next to the osaka castle on the maps and was cheap. It took a few subway transfers to get to it but it was a decent hotel. Similar in size to other japanese hotels, a little old, but clean. It is also literally a 5 minute walk from the castle.

Nice hotel, but stuffy roomsPosted Apr 23, 2012
the room windows could not be opened and the air conditioning wasn't effective, so the room was really stuffy. it was uncomfortable to stay/ sleep in the room.
