“Good location”
It's located right at the Osaka Station, which was convenient if you are travelling to Kobe, Kyoto etc. Big supermarket at Daimaur Department store where you can get snacks, drinks, fruits, saved energy. We had a standard Twin size room which the size was ok. There was a smaller Twin that I thought might be too small.
“Would def. stay here again Great location”
Ok so it is not the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in but who goes to Japan to stay in the room. I was not there on business but if I was I would have still been satisfied. I would only ask that they get more Tv channels. Any who, the hotel was big enough for 3 of us and it was right on top of the main train station in Osaka. It was not hard to move around the town, from the hotel you could get around to all the ally ways that have all the good shops and culture. Yotibashi camera was right across the street. That is where you will find the finest selection of electronics besides Tokyo. I have def. found the place to stay any time i am in Osaka, the staff will even help you or Pizza Hut, I mean where in America will they do that. The rooms were cleaned every morning and the staff even rolled in an extra bed to make us big people more comfortable. Excellent hotel!!!!!!!!
“Perfect place in Osaka”
Clean, spacious room, helpful service, close to Osaka main attractions, helpful staff, great night view from the room window, free internet, definitely the place to stay in Osaka
“Good Rest & Relaxation stop”
Room, dining, shopping are all right there, and right next to the rail lines. It was a wonderful place to rest & relax without having to walk too far for anything. The hotel staff was extremely courteous and attentive to your every need. I would definitely stay here again going to and through Osaka.
“Great Place to Stay in Osaka”
Service was extraordinary. From room clerks to concierge, to dining room personnel, as well as maids, everyone was caring, knowledgeable, concerned and courteous. The location was superb for convenience of traveling by train and many interesting sites were within walking distance. There was a plethora of shops, food emporiums, etc., within easy walking distance of the hotel--many without leaving the general premises.
“I returned for a second stay”
This is not an American Hote chainl. But they work well with non-domestic / international travelers. Rooms are smaller than we're accustomed to etc. However, If your looking for a central location, in the heart of Osaka, this is your spot. Reasonalble rates for the location. I returned two years after my first stay and the hotel is very consistent to my previous stay. The hotel chain is worth checking out in other cities.
“Outstanding Hotel!”
The Hotel is located in downtown Osaka in a very lively neighborhood a train ride away from entertainment, food and shopping. The staff is extremely accomodating and very helpful. The Japanese have an outstanding quality of making you feel very welcome and at home. The rooms have great views of Osaka, they are well kept and are spacious. The only drawback was the low amount of heat in the room. The passages were warm but I could never get the room to warm sufficiently to what us Americans feel comfortable with. Despite this, I recommend this hotel highly. It made my stay a very pleasant one.
“Very impressive”
Great lap pool/hot tub/sauna area. Super food. Great location right at the train station. Extensive mall and foodcourt right at the hotel. I don't see how a business venue could be more convenient.
“Make Hotel Granvia a top choice in Osaka”
I had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Granvia. I would have stayed longer but I waited to long to try to extend my stay and they were booked up, so I had to move. The hotel is impeccably clean. It's about two blocks from the Shinsiabashi shopping mall. A little tip--the Daimaru department store has a money exchange counter in the basement. It's confusing because Daimaru is in two buildings adjacent to one another and accessible from the mall. Another little tip--if you call down to the desk in the hotel and ask for something in English (like extending your stay) and the person has trouble understanding you and then gives you a curt "full", wait a half hour and talk to another desk clerk; I discovered, when I extended my stay the first time, that the guy I talked to took the easy way out--his English wasn't so good, so he told me they were full to get rid of me; they weren't really; I'm glad I was persistent. The women desk clerks speak better English than the guys. I would definitely use this hotel again. I highly recommend it. Good value for the price.
“Very impressed!”
Will definitely stay at the Osaka Granvia on my next trip! Excellent service, great room.
