“Good hotel to”
We spent in this hotel 3 nights, because we couldn't find free hotels in Kyoto where we was originally intending to stay. The hotel is a very good quality 4-star hotel, 10 min by train from Osaka station. Especially the swimming pool section is very good. Recommended.
“Best stay in Osaka”
My stay at the New Otani Osaka was great the service was very very fast when I asked for things like an iron or umbrella. They were very helpfull with assisting me to get around even being my translator for taxi cab rides. I didn't eat in the hotel because there were plenty of places around to get a cheaper costing meal that was just as tasty. I will say the pictures on the site did not fully do the place justice but the pics of the rooms were acurate.
“Worth every yen”
Beautiful hotel very near the train station. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. All spoke english. Pay the extra for a room with a view. 10 minute walk to places to eat local food or go to the castle. Would definately stay there again when in Osaka-Jo.
“Very Impressed - would stay here again”
There was only one minor issue with this stay. The hotel restraunt was very expensive. Other than that this was definately a 5* hotel. Our room overlooked the Imperial Palace and OSAKA JO-HALL. The hotel was absolutely beautiful & everyone went out of their way to be helpful.
“A Wonderful Taste of Luxury”
We had a wonderful 3 day stay at the New Otani Osaka. The location is outstanding and convenient for just about any location in and around Kansai. Easy day trips to Kyoto and Nara and a central location in the heart of the business district are just a few of the bonuses you recieve at the world class hotel. Highly recommended.
“Amazing Service”
We really felt that we got the best hotel in osaka. After visiting the Sheraton which was our second choice we were so happy being at New Otani. The service in the hotel was beyond expectations and the restaurants were 1st class. The hotel is beautifully laid out. We got the castle view and it was beautiful at night. Fabulous. Highly recommended to west bound travelers. Naka-Honolulu Hawaii
“A great hotel for a reasonable price”
The hotel has a beautiful view of the Osaka Castle, especially at night when the castle is lit up. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is close to various shops and eating establishments, which could really help those who want to eat cheaper but still get good food.
“Great Hotel”
This is a wonderful hotel across from Osaka Castle. Very luxurious with outstanding customer service.
“Spacious, convenient hotel with good value for price”
Our room was spacious, easily fitting two beds, a crib for our baby, and luggage. We paid for a room with a view of Osaka Castle, which was spectacular. The bathroom had a comfortable shower and lots of counter space. The location, 4 train stops from Osaka station, was convenient. Check-in and -out was smooth. This is a big hotel with expected conveniences, e.g. restaurants, concierge, etc. Our only minor complaint is that the hotel is somewhat lacking in personality. Otherwise, our visit was comfortable and we would stay again.
“Hotel New Otani (Osaka)”
This was my first time staying in a hotel in a foreign country but I was very impressed. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in a Osaka. Excellent location right outside the Osaka Castle. It's also perfect for accessing the city via Loop-Line or subway, both stations are a little more than 100 yds from the hotel.
