Great and big room with good facilities. The location of the hotel is ok, but a bit industrial and a bit far away from touristic areas but it's a good choice for people who want to save some money and it's very quiet.

A nice Love Hotel
This is a Love Hotel, I didn’t realize it when I booked it. With that said I would gladly book it again. The only down side is it’s a little out of the way and the restaurants around there can be expensive.

love the ambiance of the place
For the price you get value for your money. The room is very big compared to Japanese standard, very clean and amenities are provided. It was close to the train station and the staff would try their best to assist you with your needs. There is a steakhouse that serves reasonably priced steak with matching salad bar and soup.

nice hotel for a very reasonable price
this is one of the nicer hotels ive ever used in japan. for not a bad price either. had a lot of great facilities, and some weird ones. like the vibrator behind the bed, and the porn on the bathroom tv. it included a king bed, couch and table, fully automated power and light system behind the bed, an ensuite with programable jets in the spa bath, kettle and fridge, water filter, vending machines, and room service. we ordered the smokers room and being non-smokers didnt notice any smell except a small amount in the bedding. theres a non JR train 5min walk away, which costs 150 to get to the closest JR line at between stop 13 and stop 17. its about 45min away from tennoji. there are plenty of places to eat in the area on the main road, and plenty of 7/11.

Amazing price and location, cosy hotel!
A lovely little hotel tucked away in a quiet area of Sakai not far from the main part of Osaka City. Pefect location for travel as the train station (ishizugawa) is only a short walk away and will get you anywhere you need to go. Lots of tasty restaurants and cafes nearby for breakfast lunch or dinner. Not many tourists around the area so a nice genuine sleepy Japanese feeling, so peaceful after a busy day exploring! The room is huge and I doubt you would get anything of a similar size for the same money! Lovely amenities such as the bath with water jets and free toiletries, massive walk in shower with a t.v. in the bathroom too! The rooms are cleaned when asked with maximum attention to detail every time. The staff do not speak English but will try very hard to help you. Don't let the fact it is a love hotel put you off, you can't even tell it apart from a normal hotel when you are there. Definitely want to stay again.

Nothing to see around.but quite. Room is so big that you will not believe for such room rate. May be its an adult hotel, so no one will bother you after check in. Have to walk about 10 to 15 minutes for the railway station. A 24hrs Mcdonald next street. Free parking in the building. Good for just sleep.

It is a love hotel, 10 mins walk to the train, restaurant nearby, if u want to.enjoy the suburb atmosphere with gigantic room, triple size of the same price u pay in Osaka downtown, the massage bathtub is nice

Quirky, spacious and comfortable "love hotel"
We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was huge for the price we paid. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and worked well. It was funny to have a slot machine, laungerie vending machine and "hand massager" in the room, but it just added to the unique experience for us! Would definitely stay here again.

Very Spacious & Private
It is a Love Hotel, and can feel a bit strange at first, but the space, privacy and Japanese cleanliness makes for a pleasant stay. 5 min walk to closest station which will take you to Namba station in Osaka within 20~25 minutes. Also an approx 30min train ride to Kansai Airport (weekend travel time). Nothing much to do around the area, but enough of places close by to get food etc. Check out the Knife museum and many other stores dedicated to high quality knives, as Sakai is the epicenter of Japanese knife making.

Great choice for Osaka!
For a first stay in Osaka this hotel was a great stay at a great price. It is conveniently located within a 5-7 minute walk of Ishizugawa station on the Nankai Main Line, which is also direct access to/from Kansai International Airport and Namba station in downtown Osaka. The staff spoke limited English but were very accommodating. The room size was large with a full-size deep bathtub, free WIFI, and many other amenities. The room was also very quiet, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again upon my next visit to Osaka.

Great value for money. It's a love hotel but that didn't bother me - had huge room with a king sized bed, comfortable and quiet place to sleep. The toilet was tiny though. Location is close to the train station and easy to get to from kansai airport, although not in Central Osaka. It was great coming here from kansai airport; would definitely stay again.

Good and comfortable hotel
Spacious and comfortable room, excellent bathroom facilities with Jacuzzi, reliable WiFi service. Had my anxieties before I checked in but everything turned out very well. 5-minute walk to train station and 25-minute ride to Namba Station. 24-hour convenience stores and eateries nearby. Value for money.

A first time for everything
After many trips to Japan, this was our first stay in a "love hotel" - a circumstance forced on us by the fact Osaka appeared to be fully booked on a Saturday night. We approached it with some trepidation, but everything went smoothly. The room was large; the bed was comfortable; the Jacuzzi-style bath was relaxing; the choice of lighting settings was infinite. The decor could only be described as Sopranos; the room's fittings - including one-arm bandit, karaoke machine and big-screen projection equipment - and the various amenities combined to prove how funny the human race is when it comes to desire: in the English expression, "there's nowt so queer as folk". It's located in a love-hotel enclave; we took a walk around the block to check out other themes.

Olive is surrounded by several love Hotels and is probably the cheapest of them all, so it is an absolute bargain for staying in if you are flying from Osaka Kansai airport. The room is massive by Japanese standards so you wont be disappointed. However it does not do any meals. You will need to stay in to Fine Garden if you want breakfast in bed.

Excellent place. After a tiring day walking around Osaka,Kyoto Namba And Nara, you go home to a big room with a private bath and soak in your private jacuzzi. Very near the Ishizukawa station. last trip from Namba at midnight and the eateries in Sakai that you will pass on your way home are open and cheaper than the major cities. Only 330 yen train fare to Namba. Will definitely stay here when we go back.

GIANT ROOM!
We LOVED IT. The room was basically like a suite. The bathroom was fantastic I spent most of the trip in the tub. There are free movies, which my husband took full advantage of. And the staff were all very sweet and accommodating. Aside from the location being kind of far away from the city, it is a great hotel. Plus side: there are some fabulous restaurants down the street!

THIS IS A LOVE HOTEL
A big thank you to Expedia for telling us this is a love hotel....(heavy sarcasm). We got lost as we followed the mini map provided by Expedia (epic fail) the location on the minimap was of another hotel. That hotel then gave us the correct directions to Hotel Olive Sakai. We rocked up and the first thing you see is bright NEON LIGHTS. Once you are in the general area you cant miss the hotel. Its one of the taller buildings in the area and its lit up. Once inside there is no one at the front desk as this this a love hotel and they are very serious about privacy. So we read up on love hotels and its great if you want somewhere private with your GF/BF or mistress but not so great if you are on holidays. So after knocking on a few doors we found someone! Yay! Once getting to our room it was spacious for the price that we paid. There is a small sitting area, a pachinko (slots) machine, vending machine with drinks, vending machine with lubricant and sexy lingerie. The bathroom has a jacuzzi and TV. The TV has porn. The porn is heavily pixilated. For entertainment there is a large TV if that is too small for you there is also a projector, microphones in case you want to sing some karaoke. There was also a 'massage toy' attached to a wall. The channels are limited to a few game shows and porn. Once again the porn on this was heavily pixilated. Aside from the unexpected sex paraphernalia and the sorta suburban location (took 25mins to get there from Osaka) it was a nice hotel.

This is a Japanese love hotel but it wasn't as bad as I thought it could have been. The room was big, clean, and there was no check-out time. If you are looking for a cheap stay here is the place. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay.

Great place for romance
The hotel is exceptionally clean, inside and out. The room is VERY large and comes equipped with everything you'll need for a romantic evening. The bathroom is fantastic with a Jacuzzi and colored lights. There are a couple of restaurants nearby but none within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.

Not the best hotel for Western tourists
I reserved a room at Hotel Olive in Sakai as there were none available at a reasonable price in Osaka due to a holiday. The main thing they forget to mention in the hotel description is that Hotel Olive is mainly designed for Japanese couples meeting for sex. This hotel is definitely not for families or guests on business in Japan. The room was clean but there was no maid service during the three days I was there. For Japan the rate was low but it is about a 25 minute ride to Osaka although the metro station is just a short walk from the Hotel. There is only internet in the lobby and there are no English language television channels that I could find. Sakai did not seem to be a common place for Westerners so it was more difficult to find English speakers. The bottom line is that I would have enjoyed my trip better if I could have stayed closer to tourest oriented areas in Osaka but Hotel Olive is still an inexpensive choice for a single or couple (no children) if you don't mind not having convenient internet service, English language TV, or daily maid service. It's also a quick and easy metro ride to Kansai International Airport.

Nice room, a little far from Osaka Station.
The room is nice, it really is. It has a jatted bathtub, a really comfy bed, has a karaoke machine, tv, a slotmachine, a vending machine. Also there is a panel to control the iluminations, and everything. I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. There is also restaurants around, and conbini stores. The only thing is that is a little far from the city, Osaka (Umeda).
