Convient and Friendly HotelPosted Nov 14, 2013
Pros: Location & Friendly staff
Location: Namba street markets, easy access to restraunts or food stalls.
I stayed at the Hotel Vista Osaka for 3 nights (over 2 different trips). The rooms were spacious for an Asian hotel, and the staff on the front desk were very friendly. We were able to store our bags with the hotel, when we went to Hiroshima for the night, as we were returning to Osaka for another 2 days. There was no issue at all! They even took our bags up to our room before we even checked in. To find food is very easy, as it is right in the heart of the Namba street district. So if you are young there are a few clubs you can visit at night. If you are an older generation, it is still quite so you can sleep at night. To get to Shin-Osaka, it is easier to get the subway, but you can still get their via JR Rail but there is 3 rail changes to make to get to Namba. Definitely stay here again :)

Roomy, super close to city center, calm, nice cooperative staff, nothing to complain about if I'm to be honest. Perfect stay, didnt want to leave to a less superior hotel.

Very strategic hotel, close to Namba and SubwayPosted Oct 28, 2013
This hotel is worth the money to stay in Osaka, especially for travellers visiting the most crowded area of Osaka, Namba. The exterior of the hotel is not that pleasant with many steels that is probably used as an emergency exit. But, the room is clean and large for Japanese standard hotel.

Pros: Clean & modern
Cons: Late check in strictly enforced
Location: Gret location to the nightlife BUT in the centre of seedy clubs but still very safe
The room was clean, bright & very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern & was a pleasure getting ready. They provide the usual amenities also a bottle of water free of charge & wifi No complaints we had a wonderful stay.

Central location but wouldn't highly recommendPosted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: Central location and rooms were of reasonable standard, comfort and size.
Cons: Staff service and signage to hotel from train station.
Location: Close enough to main shopping areas etc
While being in a central location reasonably close to the Namba subway station we still found the hotel a bit difficult a bit difficult to find. Service was ok but nothing great. The actual location in the red light type district wasn't exactly great but no majorly negative issues with it. There was a fire at a nearby building during the night we stayed which filled our room with smoke and it still stunk the next morning. There was no communications about this from staff that night or the next morning to see if guests were ok and what was happening. It would have been useful to know what was going on as it is a bit frightening waking up to sirens and the strong smell of smoke in your room!

Good location, nice rooms.Posted Sep 26, 2013
Excellent location if you dont look out the window. One short block from the city's busiest shops and restaurants area. Room was very comfortable, we were surprized to find a window between the tub and the bedroom... it had aliminum venician shades... Breakfast was unacceptable, cpmpared to similar hotels in Japan.

Central hotel, good base of operationsPosted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: Location. Room. Helpful staff
Cons: Taller cleaners. Get rid of the window in the shower that looks out into the room. A minibar with salty snacks.
Location: Namba train station. Shopping in every direction. Food, food, food, food and more food. Night life.
Hotel easy to find. Initially given a smokers room but was changed in 2 minutes to a new one, albeit no longer a double bed but two singles. The room facilities were good, automatic lights, great shower, good air con, free cold water! Some dust in places hard to spot (Im tall). The curtains didn't go to the floor so lots of light came in. The room was located beside the aircon units on the neighbouring building so made for a constant hum. Overall the hotel was pretty good. Helpful, clean, central to shopping. Would stay there again
