Great Hotel - Book It!

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Everything, it was great.
Cons: Nothing to improve but there is a window between the bathroom and living room which is interesting to note. Close the blinds though and it's all good.
Fantastic hotel in the heart of the city. Close to everything, including nightlife, restaurants, train stations etc. It even has a 7/11 convenience store attached to the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful with directions etc. This hotel is very close to shopping arcades, full of great shops and chemists etc. and it leads you straight to Namba (and other) train stations for easy access to other locations or trains including the shinkansen. If you are thinking about this hotel, book it, you won't be disappointed.

excellent location

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: location and 7-11 store..everything is within reach i.e. shops, train and subway stations..feel safe even walking at night
Cons: should allow early check-in for travellers who reached Osaka in early mornings at least by 1pm instead of 3pm
Location: shopping, eateries, clubs
reached the hotel at 9.30am but need to spend our next 5.5 hrs around the streets before the check-in time at 3.00pm..kept the luggages and walk around shin sai bashi/oshin bisu bashi/dotomburi.. but shops only open at 11am..wait till lunch and returned back to the hotel at 1.30pm exhausted and tired...fell asleep at the lobby's sofa until the check-in time..i see many guests have the same situation as mine

hotel in the city centre

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Liked the toilet .Warm seat and digital wash.Bathroom amenities = complete.Room size -big by Japanese standard. Location = very central.
Cons: Extended check out time to 2pm Or Early check in by 12pm. However as we can keep luggage at lobby...this is not a real problem.
Location: Dontoburi , shinsaibashi, Tennoji , hozenji streets Umeda sky building , Tennoji zoo, Osaka Castle shopping , eating outlets , dontoburri cruise .
Wonderful hotel central to everything .10 mins walk to Namba Nankin station - only 35 mins to get to and from airport by train.Tickets costs 1450 yen /pax -one way.Taxi from Namba station to hotel costs 680 yen only. Close to shopping area Shinsaibashi, America Mura, Dontomburri and lots of places to eat.It is close to subway station too thus very convenient to travel to Nara , Kyoto using the Hankyu line and JR line. This hotel is near to Tennoji , Umeda sky building and Osaka Castle and Osaka museum of housing and living .Walking distance to Dontoburri .

It's such a great hotel.

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: Location, spacious room and staff.
Cons: Wish we had a room not facing the construction building.
Vista Grande Osaka was one of the best hotels we stayed at on our 3 weeks trip to Japan. Big spacious room, super clean, English speaking friendly staff and conveniently located -even though it's in the red light district we never felt it's dangerous at all. It's 15 minutes away from Namba train station. Right off of Nanba and Dotonbori which pretty much puts you in the middle everything Osaka has to offer: great restaurants, fun sites and great people watching. My only concern was that we got a room facing a building in construction which was not very nice.

A good hotel in Namba

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: Everything
Location: Dotombori - enjoy their extravagant signs and restaurants; shopping at Shisaibaishi; Osaka castle park - stroll in the morning
At first, I could not figure where I was when I got off from the Namba station but by chance I found the hotel and felt stupid for a second for it being so easy to get to once you know the way. The main reason I came to Osaka was the food in Dotombori and the location was perfect. There is a 7/11 accessible from the hotel, a police station right outside, and the takoyaki place just by the bridge was good. I stayed in a double room so it was spacious and comfortable, and it's just nice to know that I can go back to a nice room after a long day of being a tourist.

Great location for exploring Osaka

Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: Great location, spacious rooms, friendly staff, room itself nice and clean.
Cons: Toilets in lobby downstairs (which its bar also uses) were not clean at all, and I used them on several occasions.
Location: Great location - 5 minutes walk from Namba station (maps make it look further). Perfect for a base when visiting Osaka. Great restaurant/bar area!
Hotel good standard. In a great location, staff very friendly.

Great Hotel in Osaka

Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: Everything! The staff, accommodation, the 7Eleven so close by! The location and access to all facilities and attractions.
Cons: No improvements required
Location: Shops, shops and more shops. Restaurants and food outlets within easy walking distance and extremely close to great attractions.
We had a great stay in Hotel Vista Grande in Osaka. Location was excellent. Our room was very roomy and very comfortable. Everything about Hotel Vista Grande was beyond expectations. Extremely reasonable rate, great location, very clean and comfortable. Met some great guests as well. It appeared to be very popular and I would have no hesitation in staying there again. Extremely close to shops, food outlets and places of interest, short walk to train subway and JR train. A great way to end our holiday in Japan.

Good location but not to subway with baggages

Posted May 22, 2014
Very good stay. Room clean locations are great. Foods shop all around. You probably need 3 to 4 days to explore namba. the hotel is located in the middle. Is very tiring to carry baggages either from train station or from bus terminal station. Probably 10 to 15mins walk? Can just take a taxi to hotel which cost less then 1000yen from namba airport bus terminal station or namba subway station.

Good hotel close to Shin-Osaka station

Posted May 20, 2014
Very easy to find. Rooms are modern and clean. Ice machines on each floor. Security safe in the room. Takes about 4-5 minutes to get to the closest Metro station (would be nicer if it was a little bit closer).
