The superior rooms we booked were spacious and had all the amenities needed, incl multiple charging points for mobiles and laptops, a “shower toilet” that’s always appreciated, hot water on demand (so hot that a warning sign is present 😂), coffee & tea making facility, bath and hand towels (wish face towels were also provided though). Downstairs in the lobby, an amenities bar allowed guests to freely pick bath sponges, toothbrushes, shavers & shaving cream, etc. A major blackout occurred around 4 am in the morning and emergency lights went on and couldn’t be turned off. Hotel staff offered all affected guests free late checkout, normally chargeable at ¥1000 per hour. They had even offered us replacement rooms unaffected by the blackout. Very good customer service that we appreciate and commend.
