So far the best hotel in Japan!!!Posted Oct 26, 2013
I wish I had more time to take advantage of this luxury Hotel. This hotel is a 10 minute cab ride from the Shinkansen Station. It is also central to many shops and restaurants. The room was fabulous. I cannot say enough about the Staff, the amazing views, the comfort of the room. The rooms are very modern and large. They are state of the art. Everything is electronically controlled from the lights to the curtains to the entertainment center. I look forward towards returning and staying here again. Thank you St. Regis Osaka for a wonderful experience. This is definitely one of the best top three hotels that I have stayed in.

Good location, beautiful hotelPosted Oct 17, 2013
Would only stay here if I return to Osaka. The only negative was the noise from the large road outside.

Pleasant SurprisePosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: It's intimacy, location as well as the butler service.
Cons: None at the moment
Location: Shopping next door, centrally-located above a train station
St Regis Osaka is a lovely oasis. Understated but very elegant. The facilities, the staff and the food are top notch. I look forward to staying here again!

MY NEW FAVOURITE HOTELPosted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: The ambience was Elegant and Luxurious yet Warm and Subtle like home.
Cons: Lacking of accurate information on travelling such as fares and options of transportation.
Location: 100m to Shinsaibashi covered Mall (1.5km long) then Dotonbori Street for night entertainment & food. Substation directly accessible below Hotel.
CLOSE TO PERFECT... The hotel knowledge of local travel was surprisingly not to expectation, the rest of the service and hotel itself plus location miniscule this lacking. We stayed several nights and went to Kyoto and returned to stay overnight before going home, the reception on our return was like coming home. Each time the room was at the highest of standard with modern yet warm with elegance..the linens were fresh, clean, new like and the decor were rich with wood..the view from the ceiling to floor windows were enhanced by the use of automatic curtains. The bathroom shower with 5 nozzles to blanket your body with the auto set warm water is heavenly...the built in TV above the bathtub is addictive. The staff speaks English well enough to converse with politeness and respect unfound in the Western World. Service is one of the obvious motto in this hotel, from the tentative door man in their traditionally New York customed uniform who would quick step to approach you some distance from the front entrance to help with your shopping carries, to the Butler and Reception...everyone has a smile and greeting as if we owned the Hotel. And you know it's genuine as monetary gratuity is not a custom in Japan. We had a double size single beds in the first stay and then a King size, complimented with selection of 8 types of pillow fills...if you cant sleep, it's not the bed! St Regis is our new favourite hotel if the other SRs are like the Osaka one.

An amazing room in a good location with impeccable service, what more could anyone want? Not the cheapest of places but worth ever penny if you want a special stay.
