Not state of the art but suited me just fine.

Pros: Small and quiet.
Cons: Room was clean but a little outdated (style wise). Key swipe at the back door didn't work.
Location: Quaint little town. Plenty of sightseeing within minutes of the hotel.
Great staff. Simple breakfast. Comfortable room. Restaurant and gas station next door.

I think I would have slept better in my car.

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The staff was friendly, but not helpful.
Cons: Give guests the type of room they reserve!!! Also, the room we were in needs updating/repairs.
We made a reservation for a room with a king size bed 3 months in advance. When we checked in we were given a room with one queen bed and a whirlpool tub. My husband is a tall guy and also has sleep apnea and restless leg syndrome.....we do not sleep well together in a queen bed. When I asked about why we didn't get what we reserved there was no reason given, we were just told all rooms with king beds were booked that night. We asked for a room with two double beds but those were also full. We then asked for a trundle bed for our room and none of those were available. We would have left if there had been other options in the area, but there were not so we stayed. We were given a 10% discount on our room for the "mistake" but that did not make up for the terrible night of sleep.

Kids didn't want to leave.

Posted May 26, 2015
One of a kind staff friendliness! The staff were great with the kids. This is the smallest hotel I've ever stayed at (at reservations I was a little hesitant); surprisingly, it was the small town cozy feel that made this a perfect stay. The kids loved that the lobby looked like a living room. Though it seems older, the hotel was clean throughout. Definitely recommend.

Pool too cold

Posted Apr 8, 2015 on Hotels
The pool was very chilly. The hot tub was not working. They could of had a few more items for breakfast e.g. Muffins or something. The staff was very friendly, and we would probably stay again. We would call first to see if everything was running correctly.

Quiet place to stay when visiting family in the ar

Posted Jan 25, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel is the only show in town. They could work on a few updates, i.e. touching up paint and new toilet seats in the bathrooms. Otherwise, a nice quiet place to stay when visiting family in the area.
